If you want the freedom of not wearing a mask do not shop here. They nearly tackle you at front door and nastily insist you put one on. They are the ONLY business in the plaza that does this. There is no mask mandate in WF.You COULD just ask nicely. You get more flies with honey. Instead, I will take my business elsewhere.

I went to this beauty supply store today for the first time. It was really clean and well stocked with products. The young lady at the front was nice and helpful. During checkout the man who was handling my transactions was nice enough until four young women walked in with a baby in a stroller. They all spoke, were very polite. He couldn’t finish my sell fast enough so he could “watch them” as they shopped. That left a foul taste for me, it was unnecessary and very familiar. I guarantee you he accepted their money at the register but didn’t respect them at all as customers. I won’t be back because of that. Treat people fair until you have valid reasons not to, the color of their skin is NOT one of them!

Went to the store to pick up one thing and I had a question about that one thing and they were able to answer it very quickly. I found what I was looking for plus some other stuff and was out of the store within 15 minutes. Very pleasant shopping outing.

I will NEVER shop in this store again. The person at the register, I dont know if he was the owner or the manager but he was very rude and argued with me. I have never been treated so harshly as a customer. Take your business elsewhere. I dont know how this store remains open with this type of service.

This store has so a lot of variety of hair. If your going to get good quality hair I would recommend there hair selectionthey have from Japan 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥

The staff, a young asian man has very rude & dismissive along with the African American young lady who seemed to follow his lead. I had gone in in spite of reading less than favorable reviews while I sat in the parking lot because its the only Beauty Supply that carries African American Products in Wake Forest. The service was worse than the reviews had stated. I highly recommend skipping this business as I will be doing in the future. Hopefully the drive into Raleigh or over to Durham can be combined with other errands. Consumers deserve to be able to spend their hard-earned money where they are treated with respect and dignity. This establishment is not the one to go to!

One star is being generous. Literally the ONLY reason I had ever come here is because its the only one in wake forest. However after hearing my nieces story of how she was followed around the store and accused of stealing and having a similar experience of my own, NEVER AGAIN will I spend a dime here if this is how we will be treated. There is not alot of variety here to begin with nor are the store hours desirable. so I will definitely be going elsewhere. Not enough convenience in the world to make up for being racially profiled.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I went to get some hair products for my daughter and it was the wrong products so I went back with in an hour with the recipe and unopened products and they would only give me store credit. The products I needed they didnt have so now I have this large store credit that I normally dont go to.

This establishment is by far the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. The people in there are rude and do not know how to speak to people. They are lacking in customer service skills. I purchased a few items towards the end of April and I asked the guy at the counter whats the return policy. He stated the return policy is 30 days but you cannot return OPENED items due to COVID-19. I said okay I will make sure if anything has to be returned I will not open it.I went back to the store the other day to return the UNOPEN items and the lady at the register was yelling at me and had the nerve to ask me do I know I know how to read. I was baffled at her comments and treatment towards me. I simply told her what the guy told me, that any item can be returned as long as it hadnt been opened. Even the receipt list the 30-day return policy. The lady continued to raise her voice and yell at me. I left and came back the next day to speak with the guy who checked me out the first time. I reiterated what he told me about returning the items then he tried to say he never told me that. That was a complete lie on his behalf. I showed him the items had never been opened and he began getting loud with me. After going back and forth with him about what he originally told me I just said forget it.I am all for supporting local businesses especially during this time when I know many places are struggling for support. But I will NEVER again support this place of business. They are rude and try to make up rules as they feel like it. All of the major retailers such as Target, Walmart, Sams Club, Sephora, etc are allowing returns even on items that have been opened. So why would this small business not allow returns. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I rather make the drive to somewhere else before I ever step foot in this place again.

They have a limited selection of hair, this is the only beauty supply store in Wake Forest. I will shop online or drive to Greensboro for my hair. They do not sell bomb twists or the most popular crochet styles that are popular.

Over charge due to being the ONLY one in Wake Forest. Better off driving a few miles down the road to capital blvd in Raleigh. Much better options.

I will never shop at this establishment again! Customer service must mean nothing here. I came the first day to purchase my items and the owner or manager (I have no idea who he was) looked at me and kept talking to someone else. He did not acknowledge that I even walked in the door. I had to have been one of the first customers of the day as they had just opened. BUT, I purchase my items and I thought nothing more of it.When I got home, I realized I had gotten the wrong length. I opened it and noticed that it was torn and the part that was twisted to hold the hair in place was undone. I fixed it, and went back to exchang it today (next day after purchase). They told me bc I opened it, they could not resell it and they had to throw it away because it had been opened. But I just BOUGHT the hair yesterday and it was already opened!! Sooo obviously you do 😒 I advised them that it had already been opened. Listen, I have NO REASON to lie 🤷🏾‍♀️ However, they did let me exchange it this one time. I thank him as I understood that an exception was made.Found what I needed and went to pay. He told me my amount was $2 and some change which was the difference from my exchange. I handed him my card. He told me there was a $5 minimum to use my card and I was like, really?! Ok, fine grabbed something right by the register and it was still under $5. He became impatient with me and told me that he could hold the transaction while I look for something.I left the line to find a product, and came back to pay for it. As he rung me up, he barely talked to me but I was still nice and thanked him again. But, y’all... just the atmosphere of the whole store was that of agitation and annoyance. One poor lady was getting no assistance with her daughter. She told them that she looked and looked and didn’t see the item. She asked them to walk her to it, and neither person would! They just kept pointing her to where to go. I felt bad for her because she was getting beyond frustrated. I highly recommend you find ANY OTHER PLACE to go to spend your hard earned coins in hair, hair products, makeup, tiaras, or whatever. This is not the place to go. #Periodt

The owners really go out of their way to satisfy the customers. If they dont have the product, they will order it. I love this place!

After today I wouldn’t give this store not even one star!!!! I made my second trip to this store today to purchase a couple items I had forgot. I made this trip with my mom and daughter. I made my purchase and as we was walking through the security detectors the alarm went off. They took my bag with my purchased items in them and walked through the detectors. The alarm didn’t go off. They made each of us go through the dectors. When my mom walked through it went off. The owner accused my mom of stealing (the one with the glasses) he then searches every inch of my mom purse in front of all the customers and employees which was very embarrassing, and humiliating. He finds a thing of nail polishes I had purchased for my daughter a couple months back. He walks through the detectors with the nail polish and it goes off. Again he accuses my mom of stealing. he goes to check the cameras. It takes him about 20 mins to come back. He comes back and says sorry lady. Sorry doesn’t cut it when you’ve been humiliated, embarrassed and accused my mom of something she didn’t do. I had been to the store for the second time that day and I spent a total of &56 dollars. My mom isn’t a thief and she does no need to steal .50 nail polish. My mom have never stolen anything in her life. As all of this was going on another customer decided to walk out. He then starts to tell us about a lady who stole something for two dollars. That has nothing to do with my mom. After acussing my mom of stealing he was very rude. She was explaining how she felt humiliated and he rudely talked over her. After leaving were walking to the car and the customer who had decided to leave is waiting in her car. She asked my mom was she ok. Even that customer knew he was very rude. The customer also stated that after seeing how rude he was that was the last straw for her. She stated that she had brought her mom to purchase some items and he was very rude to her. So conclusion he reviewed the camera and saw that my mom hadn’t stolen anything. I asked why the nail polish went off. His answer was after you purchase something from there it deactivates and after a while it activates again. In that case he has no right to acusses customers. Before today I thought they were very professional but I will never spend another dollar in this store or step foot in here again......I was really embarrassed for my mom. Instead of going through her personal items he should have reviewed the cameras first.

Average beauty supply store. Clean but not a huge variety of crochet hair and prices are higher then most.

Went to purchase some items and they wouldnt even allow my child to use the restroom. Wont spend another dime here.

First time visiting & it will be my last. The employees & owner were very rude. Prices are are very ridiculously high. Took too much money off my card and than treated me like a thief. Will not shop here ever again!

Get most of my hair products there.

Employer who helped was very kind and patient. Owners however neef to provide heat in thw shop. It was extremely cold for customers and the poor salesperson had her coat on too.
