A good place to find used tools nice and friendly people that work there Im definitely will be going back
If you have not been into the Tool Shed yet youre missing out. It is by far my favorite place to stop at in Waco and its easy to kill a good 45 minutes just rummaging through all the new things they got in that week. You never know what youre going to find or hear while visiting. You wont find a better deal in town on second hand (sometimes even new) tools or hardware. If you happen to have any tools or hardware laying around that youre not using anymore be sure to drop by and and donate them. Proceeds from the the tool shed help fund the charity Friends For Life which is a great program working with seniors and other local folks that could use additional assistance. When you do make it in make sure to say hi to Charlie at the front counter, he always has a smile on his face and a great story to share. He has certainly brightened my day on more than one occasion. If you are looking to volunteer help is always needed. Store hours have been reduced recently due to lack of business. Ive been told that currently they are only operating Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It really would be a shame to let this amazing place close . Next time you head out to get a pack of screws, or some other item for your next project please consider stopping here first.
This is a quaint little thrifty shop between the two big boxes. The pricing can be a little high on some if the larger items, but everything else is very cheap. Mostly older items, often though that shouldnt make a difference. I needed a small point nail punch for example, and walked out with three sizes, all solid cast steel, at .50 cents each. Perfect. The Tool Shed is worth stopping in weekly as the selection rotates like your average thrift store. Great place.
This is my favorite thrift store i have ever been too. Tons of tools and building materials from vintage to new at ridiculously reasonable prices. I try to stop here before I go to any other hardware store. They are non profit proceeds go to charity and they staffed by great people.
Its a thrift store full of tools! Great concept, friendly staff great selection
This place is great for replacing that lost tool 10 mm socket OR getting that one tool you dont have to finish a project. The people at The Tool Shed are so welcoming and knowledgeable. Highly recommend if youre tool shopping on a budget.I will definitely be back.
Love it!
