My review is toward an employee who is located at the customer service her name is Maria, let me just say that she appears to be nice but in reality she is one of the rudest people I have encountered sincerely every time we go she gives us the same terrible service. I would really appreciate if she would take some time to fix her attitude towards customers!

I have loved JCPenneys all of my life, and thats a long time since Im 78. I remember going into the old JCPenneys down on Austin Avenue when I was a tiny child, and the store is as good if not better than it was back then. And, the prices are good. I would recommend Penneys every day of the week and on weekends and holidays and all the time. I never cared for Sears, but I always love Penneys.

This location is nice, it was very clean and had a good selection. I really only shopped in the mens clothing area, but overall the store had a good layout and things were easy to find. The one thing that really stood out to me was the lack of people, both shoppers and employees, I didnt see another person at all. The large register station was un-manned, there wasnt a salesperson in the mens department, and I was the only shopper. It was actually kind of creepy in a way...

JCPenney Waco, Texas was GREAT today! Sales fabulous (saved 50% overall) and selection topnotch. While other stores packed and long lines before Easter holiday, JCP lines not terrible and moved fast. Sales persons worked very quickly while being kind, friendly, and attentive to customer needs. Was in a better mood when I left. 😊 Great stop!

I bought a shoe pair of shoes and i loved them. They were reasonable price too.

Sad to see the stores liquidating. Few staff doing it all with a good attitude. Who knows if these locations or even the whole show will only continue in memory. These are the retailers of national impact. They served the public good with low margins and kept the nation looking good. They were even a long standing #1 in towels. This location is neat, sanitized and relevant.

This store has gone downhill. Picking up and online order is incredibly inconvenient. You have to wait for an available register and the wait for them to call someone from the back to come to the register and then they have to go back to the back to get the order. It seems inefficient for everyone involved. I am not surprised that this company has not been doing well lately.

I still enjoy shopping at JCPENNEY. I hope they stay open. Good sales also.

The selection JC Penney has has gone down over the years, but the customer service has remained good. I like their Sephora section.

Used to buy Lee Jeans there which is the brand I like however they no longer carry them so I will not go back. They lost a customer

Been shopping here since I was a child but for whatever reason Ive been wrongfully profiled in this store. I can go to every other store in this shopping center and not have an issue, but when I go to JCPenny they call out a code and then have a couple of associates stalking me throughout the store. Ive asked to speak to management and they never seem to have the time or give a care about resolving the issue. Ive even emailed corporate and never got a reply back from anyone. After doing some comparative shopping with some of the competitors in this center Ill be taking my business there.

Today is was so hot as if they had the heater on.

One of many wonderful stores and shops in the beautiful Richland Mall in Waco, Texas. The store is very organized and all the staff are friendly 👍 and there to help you. Can always find some great sales here when you go.

Huge sale going on! I think almost everything in the store was marked off at least 20% most items were more! Looked mostly at ladies clothing. Every thing from beach wear to casual to office to after 5 and even formal evening wear were on. Sale. All spring and summer clothing. Great shopping time with friends.

Lots of choices and sales on ladies clothing. Only negative was they advertise open at 11 but it was 11:05 of so. For a store struggling to stay in business I would think they wouldnt want to chance missing any sales.

When looking for Maternity clothes this place said it does, but they do not!

J.C. Penney had markdowns that were surprisingly less than the signs stated. Very exciting. I wanted to shop more but didnt have time. Going back!!! The service is always fantastic!!! Checkers are very pleasant and explain about every price of each item purchased. Great team at J.C. Penny.

Ok so time to break the news... I can be pretty darn frugal so I normally dont shop here. However on tax free weekend and during sales Im a big fan! They have the best mens dress shirts(and ties), sexy womens shoes(ready for date night!), and preteen girl clothes. My husband has a hard time finding dress shirts that fit his long arms without looking like a nightgown. Their shirts are fantastic! Also, I wear a wide shoe and most places dont carry a very good selection. I was thrilled to see all of the super cute shoes available in a wide. Looks like Ill never wear tall boots again though. Please note: Apparently if you have wide foot they think you must be big all over. So my athletic calves are much too small to fill in the tall boots. Heartbreaking really... I love tall boots so much. I just find it to be odd because Ive always been called healthy growing up because I had thick thighs and calves. Im far from being a stick but still nothing that fits my body type in that style of shoe. :(

You can find decent stuff here for your home or clothing, but lately the store seems unorganized and not as clean as it used to be. Not sure what changed.

The store is fine, but the womens restroom is long overdue for a renovation.

Poor selection in size choices. This used to be a good store but its now impossible to find any kind of dress clothes in my size. Its a shame, j was a loyal customer. Ill just find some where else to spend my money.

Christmas season started already, busy shoppers find great deals

I recently visited the Waco JCPenney, and a few days later, I visited the Temple JCPenney. I have to say that the store in Temple was a lot more organized, the mens items were all together instead of jumbled up in several locations around the store. Temple really outdid Waco when it comes to presentation and appearance of the store.

The necklaces are very cheap, the first necklace I bought broke the first time I put it on, I took it back and got another one, that one broke while washing my neck in the shower. I barely touched it because I didnt want it to break like the first one. Ive never seen real gold necklaces break that easily. Im done with the jewelry department.

The employee was nice and helpful. I was picking up an order. She was quick getting back with my order.
