Ross and his team were an amazing help after we decided to update our ceiling and walls after some water damage. An amazing selection of products allowed us to make some much needed improvements to our home. Thankful for them, and highly recommend.

I have dealt with Darden many years and my experience there has always been positive and the employees are amazing. I highly recommend them for all your building materials.

I do not recommend this company if you need things done in a timely matter. The office personnel is very friendly as are the salesmen. We ordered a piece for our fireplace on January 13th from Guthrie. After 2 weeks we get a bill for the piece we ordered. We were never told it was in. We called Guthrie yesterday morning and told him we got a bill and we dont even have the part. He said he will check to see why we were billed and check on the order. We were never called back. We called premier and they will get us the part in 1 day. We have decided to cancel the floor covering and tiles as well.

So we went to Darden to pick out stone for our home. They were nice enough but they stated our stone would be delivered in 2 weeks. Over 3 weeks later and after phone calls, they finally delivered the chopped stone but not the flagstone, mortar, anchors, etc. After waiting a few days thinking they would show up with it, called them again and was told it would be delivered in a couple days. Wrong. A week later is shows up only to be short 2 pallets of flagstone. Another phone call on Monday and was told it would be delivered either Tuesday or Thursday. Wrong again. Called them again on the following Monday and was told it would be delivered that day, which it was. No apologies just excuses. One other thing, the flagstone they have on display looks really nice but what you get delivered is awful. Our mason said he hadnt ever seen such poor quality stone. The flagstone is hardly usable for a sidewalk or steps. Ill never do business with or recommend Darden Building Materials to anyone.

Customer service was not good. We had been into Darden about 3-4 times and the employee named Mike who had helped us multiple times acted like he didn’t even recognize us when we went in to check on our order of tile. Front desk lady was also very hard to work with. Very unorganized and didn’t have any people skills. Eddy was the only employee that was professional and that helped get us our tile. Took a week to get tile in which was great but then the front desk lady would tell us it was delivered and our contractor could pick it up only for it to not be there...this happened twice...they definitely need to work on their customer service skills and remembering the clients.

We paid for and placed an order on 5/6. We were told it would take UP TO 2 weeks to get the material in. After a month and numerous calls we were told they would be picking up our order and we could come to Darden and pick it up. Only to get there and find out the order was STILL NOT COMPLETE!! And to top it off they charged us $75 to come pick up our own material!!!! Very dissatisfied with this company and will not be using them again unless we can not find what we need somewhere else.

I called up there to check on buying some tile flooring for a bathroom remodel. I spoke with Mike and he was extremely helpful in finding the right type of tile flooring that would match and look most like hardwood floors. As a bonus, they were a $1 a square foot cheaper than Home Depot and Lowes.

Very rude employees. Heard multiple employees making statements of the drugs they were doing on the job. Not a very good business to be involved with.
