I gave my experience 2 stars because Im happy with the tires I bought. My issue is with the free alignment check. The day I got my tires the alignment guy wasnt there. Totally understandable. So whenever I made an appointment to get it done the machine broke the day before. I made another appointment went in and they said it would be 2 hours....then why make an appointment if I then have to wait for 2 other cars for 2 hours??? I left without getting it done. I guess since it was free its not near as important. Ill keep that in mind next time.

It has been almost a year since I got an alignment from them and they did a good job...so why the one star review.At the same time they informed me that I need a new tire which I paid to replace.This week the tread on a tire came off. I called to see if this tire is the one covered on my warranty. They said they do know which tire it was but just look for the Firestone tire and if that was the one, they will service it.There are 3 Goodyear tires replace by my parents, the previous owner, the year before and 1 offbrand.One wild possibility someone snuck in and change the one firestone tire for this old thing.More likely, the mechanic did not double check the work order and did NOT change the tire. No one including me double checked.I take my responsibility for my own lapse, but I am not the professional.
Great experience with Chris & Team. They even found a nail in tire during alignment servicing and took care of it. Super shop that keeps their word and provides super service.
Like always they did an amazing job. They are upfront and honest about the longevity of my tires.
Spent 2 Hrs and 13 minutes trying to get a flat tire I bought at this location fixed. I was told it would be a couple of hours. I was just told it would be a couple of more hours. After having 13 automobiles cared for at Firestone locations in 4 cities and 2 states. I am done. T
One good thing:Of the 4 overpriced tires I purchased 20k miles ago, 1 failed. I was able to get both tires on same axle covered under warranty, not just one. So kudos there.One bad thing:Check your receipt, make sure you got what you asked for.2 years ago, when I bought these tires, I spent over $2k in tires and service. Asked for lifetime alignment, but failed to check my receipt. Now I come back for an alignment, and I am told I only paid for a 12 month alignment ($89) vs Lifetime ($169).I own 5 vehicles, Ive never paid for a ONE - TIME alignment fee because it is a waste if money, but sure as heck, although I was told lifetime I was only charged 12 month now Im stuck paying for it AGAIN.So all in all, if I had bought tires elsewhere I probably would not be buying them again, and I would have gotten what I asked for. In the end, I appreciate the prorated gesture, but it doesnt fix that I ended up paying more and spending more time taking care of poorly constructed tires.
Dropped car off for an oil change. Wasn’t done after being there all day. Will never use again. It’s an oil change. It doesn’t take long.

Ive never encountered such poor customer service from any of the Firestone stores Ive used than I had today and finally have decided that I can take my dollars and get service elsewhere. Ive been a loyal Firestone customer since the late 80s or early 90s and have been so pleased in the past that Ive excused some of the disdain the staff has exhibited since Ive been back in Waco. I have always received great service and referral friends and family, but today was the straw that broke the camels back. I went in for an oil change and was told that it would be hours before they could get to my vehicle, although there were very few cars on the lot or in the bays, but I was informed that they would not be able to take care of an oil change for hours and suggested that I schedule an appointment for tomorrow. I went as far as to ask why it would be hours and the guy at desk said they just didnt have time. In all the years Ive taken my cars to the various stores Ive never been treated so rude. I will be taking my business to another establishment and will let my family and nursing colleagues to go elsewhere until the right staff is hired. So long my time is valuable too.
Service was very friendly. They obviously stay rather busy which explains the fact that an appointment is best otherwise you may have to wait a bit. I had an oil change and tire rotation done and my car is running great so I do recommend Firestone regarding quality. I had these services done with an online discount they had advertised so I jumped right on it. However while they had my car they did a complete check and recommendation of other services I need. The quotes on the recommendations were rather pricey. But if you can find a discount offered by them I highly recommend their work!

Great place for cheap tires
I called to make an appointment and specifically told the guy I needed my compressor changed and left rear tire. The day came for my appointment. The guy asked me what I was needing and I said the exact same thing, my compressor and tire. He acted like he didn’t know what a compressor was. I told him it had to do with my AC. He also goes on to say that they can’t just change the compressor they have to change the whole kit. So not only did they not tell me the correct information when I made the appointment, I also have to ride around with my AC out STILL IN THIS TEXAS HEAT until I can find someone to fix it. I am really led to believe that if you want something done just learn how to do it yourself. This will be my last visit!!
Worst place Ive ever been if I could give a 0 star I would. I left my car at 11am for a alignment they told me it would take a few hours to be ready (2 to 3 hours) long story short I should up at 6:30pm 30 minutes before they closed and it was till not ready. They asked if I wanted to wait longer but I just asked for my keys and left. Will never go to them ever again.
Walked in wasnt even greeted. Stood there waiting to be helped for 10 minutes noone even acknowledged I was there so I left.

Within the last year customer service has gone way down. No one is ever available for anything. I went in right at 8 for a oil change. They told me no one was available till 4. I’ve been going there for 10 plus years. The guy at the counter was rude. No help at all. Went to another place down the street. I pulled up and my car was taken back. No wait. Firestone just lost a customer!! Hire more people!!

Ive been going to exclusively to Firestone for over a decade now in 3 different states, and I was really pleased to find that the one here in Waco provides excellent service, too! The first time I came, my cars AC wasnt working. We had just moved into town at the end of June, and we were desperate to get the AC fixed without breaking the bank. I spoke Tristan, who explained all of my options, the estimated costs, etc. Once it was determined that the AC compressor kit needed replacing, he was straight with us and locked us in for the most competitive rate in town. I really appreciate that the guys here are honest, have integrity, professional, and do top-quality work efficiently!
Closer to 3.5 stars, really. Good front brake service overall but beware of possible up-sell. You should know what service you need to ensure you’re not buying extras not needed for the service you’re paying for. If you’re a bit knowledgeable about your cars service requirements, you should be safe.

Firestone is a mixed bag. I almost left them for good on my last visit, however David who is always great was so honest with me that he saved my business. He spent 20 minutes with me researching information. He has a speech impediment and I cannot understand him on the phone. However do not let that deter you.In person he and I communicate effectively and you can trust him. I do not trust anyone else there. He is smart and kind and honest.Do not let his speech impediment deter you in anyway shape or form.
Completely misdiagnosed my car, wouldn’t give me an alignment because they wanted me to get new front suspension AND tires. Terribly overpriced too.I took it to a mechanic and the tires and suspension were apparently all in good condition, they were able to do an alignment easily, plus the only problem was my steering was a little loose.
When I moved to Waco eight months ago, I needed tire service. They were prompt and informative. Since, Ive been back with tire pressure checks and an inspection. Although I havent needed anything urgent, theyre always quick to take care of my smaller needs.

Decent prices. They are extremely slow. Took the better part of three hours to get four tires mounted, balanced and installed. Then upon leaving I noticed the hood seemed to be moving stopped and looked and wasnt pushed all the way down and latched. This could have be disastrous if it had came up going down the highway . The pros the staff is very friendly and helpful. Probably wont go back unless emergency, dont have the time to sit and wait for hours and hours for something as simple as a set of tires.
Had a tire blow out while driving from Houston to Lubbock. We had upfront pricing and options on replacement from James, and no aggressive sales pitch. Jeffrey went out of his way to educate us about tires, rotation and balance. Found out the last place put the wrong size tires on our car, that will never happen again. Overall great service, in a timely manner and an excellent price. I would trust them with any repair on my vehicles.
Service is A1 but it comes at a wallet emptying price. Theyll get you fixed up real good and if they find something wrong or something theyll give you your options on getting it fixed. For me well I was only there for an alignment tires rotated n balance but no money out pocket. Hey I say if they offer a lifetime warranty on service you will need yearly or couple times a year then Jump On It. Warranty paid for itself the first time. Great place but always Make An Appointment. Ya Welcome.....😊
After first visit they didnt tell me about the keyed lug nut they left in the door of my car and I had no idea what it was. Great service though.Second trip they called me to tell me I had to have the keyed lug nut and they usually leave it in the glove box...but I had no idea. Finally got it figured out and the service was decent.

(07/10/2019) My wife went to go get an oil change and 2 new tires. She told the firestone employee (Billy) twice that she wanted to keep the “2 old tires that were taken off” to take home. And on top of her being treated rudely while she was there, she gets home and the tires are not in the truck and they charged her for the disposal of the tires...

Horrible place will bold face lie to you I bought 2 new tires from them manager apparently was doing me a favor by giving us road hazard for all 4 tires (original tires had 6k miles on them) since the other 2 original tires on car were bought from them threw dealership where we bought car. Now a year later they will not honor their word now since they were trying to do someone a favor then a year later act like you dont know what is going on. Very unhappy with them they have lost me as a customer Ill take my business else where for now on. He shouldnt give his word and say stuff like that if they will not honor it I would have felt real stupid if I were stuck out on highway in another state and tried to call the road hazard people for assistance with a flat only to find out I dont have the coverage I was told I had.
I would not recommend you bring your vehicle hear for anything.Convenient hours and full service menu is very appealing. However, in my experience/opinion:1) service is not timely2) service provided is not of high qualityMost recently, I brought the vehicle in for a noise and when it was fixed ($1,400 later working on parts that Firestone had previously fixed multiple times in the last year) I drove it off property and the exact same noise was there, asked that when I come back that I can look at the original parts. Took multiple days and me calling to find out it was fixed again that first day. The new fix was just an adjustment...Top it off when I explained that I thought I was a good customer, one who brings all 4 vehicles for all service and can always pay; and that I thought the lack of concern that I was upset; they had nothing to say..
Good just a bit expensive make sure you check your paperwork before you leave to make sure everything is done

Was traveling from ft worth to corpus. My tire needed some air so I stopped here and was told itd be a few hour wait just to put air in my tire.
This place has taken care of multiple cars for me and they have been nothing but honest. Reasonable prices. Never had any issues at all ever.
I love Firestone and have used them for years. I love the prices and service I get. They have taken good care of our vehicles.
The problem with the car was a program key had to be made. We authorized them to contact the key maker to come make a key, which fixed the problem. Firestone then charged us another $100 to just check the car out. The problem with the car had been fixed! They should not have charged another $100 for nothing. Very unethical and unprofessional.
Very easy to schedule an appointment and didn’t spend all their time trying to up sell me on every item as is all too common at many oil change service centers.

Had to get two new tires on my car, took them about 2-3 hours (they werent busy), and after I left, I noticed that some of the food I had packed for my road trip (on my own so Id know if it had been eaten) was MISSING. They actually took my food from the trunk of my car. Completely unprofessional.
Although they could not help me out, they were much more friendly about it than Goodyear.
I went there to get my front end aligned and they refused to do it saying my lower ball joints needed to be replaced. The lower ball joints were replaced 35,000 miles previous and according to the next mechanic I talked to said the ball joints were perfect. I would recommend double checking with another mechanic before having them do the work.

Their all only good thing is lifetime wheel alignment if that least is a good deal had oil change i use sinthetic oil which is soppose to be for 5000 miles and their sticker said 3000 i asked the gug he was very cool n pollite told me cause manufacters and charge 30 to change filter when most of them do it completementary just no for me anymore

Reasonably quick. Very friendly. No one there at the time seemed to be terribly frustrated which was nice.
Very slow service and very expensive.I went in to get my brakes looked at and just doing that took two hrs.I knew they were bad and needing replaced however I was not expecting the sticker shock of almost 1,200.00 to have the front brakes and rotors replaced.I did not have them do the work because of the high price. I called Goodyear Auto repair and got a quote for less than half the price with a guarantee on the work.

I went today to get an oil change on my car. The 1st representative was great. However, the second representative was not upon checking me out. He would not answer my question about my car. I asked him about the condition of a part on my car that the technicion suggested needed replacing and all he could say is that it must be bad off if he recommended it to be replaced. Then I felt rushed through the checkout process to get me out of there.

Today we brought our car in for an alignment. They noticed two of the new directional tires they mounted on for us 5 months ago were put on BACKWARDS! They fixed the problem, checked the other two that they mounted previously, and balanced and rotated all the tires. Unfortunately they offered zero forms of compensation for incorrectly mounting two of the tires previously and stated we caught and fixed the problem. Had I not needed an alignment after replacing some of the front suspension in the car, who knows how long we would have been driving on incorrectly mounted tires. We were not compensated for their screw up, they downplayed the mistake, and therefore didnt care about receiving my business again. I will not be returning to Firestone. I wouldnt even give a star if I didnt have to.
They told about 45 mins and it took 4.5 hours
Always get great service at this location! They stay fairly busy, but the time estimates they give are generally accurate.
Took all day to do an oil change and state inspection, staff was also very rude and laughed at almost every customer. I hope I don’t have to return, ever.

I brought my car in because there is a squeaking noise when I brake. They call me to tell me that there is not squeak but I need a new battery. So I pay almost $200 for a new battery and I pick my car up and it is still squeaking while I’m braking even though they swore that they test drove it. This is not the first time they have done this. It’s been about 4 or 5 actually. I don’t know why I keep bringing my car here but this was the last time.
Well staffed auto shop and very knowledgeable
This is the second time Ive brought my company car here... First time I asked them to do an oil change, inspection and a tire balance... they forgot to do the tire balance... today on the way to work one of my front turn signals stopped working... its an Escape and the signal is in the bumper... Im an hour and a half away from home so I have no tools... no sweat Ill just drop it off at fire stone before my lunch and have them knock it out while I work... 4:00 rolls around I finished up early, I walk to firestone ready to go home and they havent even toched it... so now ill be fighting traffic on the way home and it will probably take me over 2 hours to make it home this evening.

If your looking for a place, that can handle about any issue with your vehicle, at a reasonable price. This is it. The service advisors are straight up & very knowledgeable. They make an attempt to accommodate just, what the customers needing, without alot of upsale or fluff. Normally, they are very busy but, somehow seem to consistently take care of every customer, in a timely manner. They dont try to make a promise, unless they are pretty darn certain, they can keep it. Several of the mechanic/technicians have been there for many years. They have the experience thus, easily provide the quality & consistency.It may not be the cheapest place to go but, for a little more, youll have peace of mind, its right, if not they stand behind their warranty. Strictly tirewise. I will not go anywhere else. If you buy a set of tires here, get the lifetime add-ons!!! For anything you need for the life of those tires. Youll be treated like a V. I. P., just like you bought the tires 5-minutes ago. Goal to get you back rolling a.s.a.p..... Trustworthy 😉
Soooooo slow. They just take their sweet time with everything. Im not saying they are through and take their time Im saying they move like turtles and just joke and play around. I wont be back.
Anytime a tech says the estemitated time of completion is 3 hours add 3 more hours. Sat and observed many upset patrons 1 day=2, see the pattern.
Long wait times. But the staff are friendly and accommodating.One issue. They try to convince you everything wrong with your car is urgent. But is not. Take your vechical inspection to your actual mechanic for an evaluation to confirm any problems.

If you have AWD, I don’t recommend you go to Firestone for tires if you have damage to just one tire. They will take advantage of you and tell you that all tires need to be replaced. I was stupid and fell for this because my dealership was closed. When I checked later with Subaru dealership, they said there was no way all tires needed to be replaced. Fool me once.......

Have used this place for all my car needs for as long as I can remember. Very honest and staff is very accommodating.
Went in for an alignment, tx tires sent me to them. Didnt take too long to get the job done, they didnt have any complaints about not be able to align my truck right. Thats something I always run into because of the four wheel steering, but not here. Place was clean and staff was friendly.

My tire blew out an hour out side of town. I had a family emergency (good one) and they exchanged my tire in less then 30 minutes, so I can make it to Houston on time.
After making a mistake with one of my tires, they did so much to try to make up for it...even after I threw a fit. A great place with great management.

Been here 4 hours for two tires and an oil change. Two bays have been open for about 30 minutes and my truck hasnt moved. Im glad the employees here have nothing to do but I actually do. I will never be coming back here.

I went in to get a brake job. They came up with more than $1500 in repairs, some of which were nowhere near the front brakes, and I think everyone there had a nail in at least one tire,...including me! Coincidence? Sure
Well dont go here for a.c. work got charged $1100 for labor and compressor its supposed to be under warranty but going to cost another $541for labor but they are doing me a favor since iIm over miles not months on warranty spent $3000 here in the lastyear and I will never go back!!!!
