This is just really a nice place to come and relax so many books also it has a Starbucks attached to it. The storage hastorage has tons of different books the childrens area set up so nicely so that it is comforting that they could just come and flop down and enjoy that section. Different little nicknames magnets pants type its tablets nooks.. One of my favorite places to visit

Store smells good mostly because there is a Starbucks inside. Great place to grab a cup coffe and a good book. Relaxing place to read and hangout. Perfect to bring young kids to buy books and read, they even have a area for young kids located in the back of the store. Amazing customer service, sales on selected books and writers. This Barnes & Noble is a great location and appears to be managed well. They seem to always have what Im looking for, and then some; yet, it is such a small store. The store is organized well, clean, and the help is truly helpful. Nicely done!

They are really nice in there. the Starbucks the employee was rude and close early but Barnes and Nobles they helped us find the books we needed and they showed us and they were just really nice all for people that helped

Very quiet store, plenty of helpful of employees. They didnt have the boom I wanted, but I was there for a very specific book. Found some other books for the kids anyway, and they were happy.

I dont go frequently, but I always love to. The discounted section is always chock full of legitimately interesting finds - everything from cookbooks to the complete history of Egypt and its mythology. And thats just the discounted section - theres an even bigger plethora of books that make up the rest of the store, and the employees are always kind, friendly, and helpful.

The store is always well stocked and nicely decorated. As well as books, the store has a nice selection of gifts and vinyl records. I was searching for foldable maps and was pleased to find that they had the two I needed in stock.

I felt like I was at a library when entering this store. I loved it! I seriously could have spent all day in here. I love books and they had a wonderful, huge, wide selection!The only reason for the 4 stars was the Starbucks coffee 😫. I am not a Starbucks fan at all. Too bad they didnt have their own brand or something not so commercial.I ended up purchasing a Debbie Macomber book set in Texas. How fitting....one of my favorite authors writing a book about one of my favorite states to visit! 🇨🇱

I have always enjoyed Barnes and Noble and their wide variety of books however this time I came and went to ask for help the five people that work there or in the corner and were more worried about talking to one another than helps customers there was one girl at the register she was kind of rude so when she told me that my membership expired I didnt even bother to renew it. I had asked for customer help two or three times I was looking for a book on skateboarding for my grandson and they kept telling me I had to have the exact name I know that you can look up a book by the keyword which was skateboard and they just didnt feel like helping us they were too busy socializing I was very disappointed this time

I’m a big anime fan, they have a good section of Manga in their store and the books are so easy to find since they’re so well organized too. On my days off, sometimes I go there get a new manga or a new book and read it at the cafe. Everything is so well organized, it’s not hard to find what you’re looking for. If you can’t find the book you’re looking for the staff is more then helpful to help you look or order it. Also if you’re a college student (or about to be) like me it doesn’t hurt to check out any of the college textbooks that they have available when you know what classes you’re taking.

A little smaller than the average B&N but still has a few hidden treasures like most bookstores. It never seems busy which means there arent a lot of readers in the area or they shop online. The toy selection has decreased but I usually an there for myself, my daughter, or building a library for my grandson.

First time very clean staff was helpful and found what my granddaughter was looking for.

Wonderful book store. Every thing from magazines to paperbacks and hard covers.They even have foreign language study guides with cd/mp3/dvds available. A lovely little Starbucks located in the store as well.

Only gave 4 stars cause they didnt have the book..365 days of kindness.

They seem to have rearranged shelves which was a surprise but not an unpleasant one. Employees were helpful in helping us find books and setting up two for order. All in all no complaints. Not much social distancing seen but employees were wearing masks. The rest is up to peoples common sense which can sometimes be not so common.

Very clean place. Friendly workers, and even has a Starbucks inside. Even if youre someone who doesnt even read books, (like me,) this pkace is definitely worth a visit. There are TONS of comic books, collectible figurines, and many other novelties. Dont see a book you want? Ask one of the workers to order it for you! Great place.

Great place to bring the kids, get some coffee and peruse the store, they have great merch in addition to the books. One of my favorite places to go in Waco for a nice calm atmosphere. 4 stars only because I wish they stayed open later than 9pm weekdays 10pm weekends. It should be at least 11pm on weekends. Also a larger seating area for adults with couches. They seem to do a lot of neat things for little children in the kids section.

Great store! I love shopping here and I dont really even read. You can find books about almost anything here, and even more than just books. This is a terrific place to buy unique gifts as well. There are also some cozy nooks to study, research, or do some work on a laptop. The only negative thing I would say is that the customer service isnt anything great.

Im just a black coffee drinker and have never been a fan of their coffee. It always had a burned taste to it. A buddy wanted to meet here, and I begrudgingly agreed. I decided as an alternative to get the hot cinnamon spiced tea. I thought it was outstanding. Took one star off because the parking lot is a hassle to enter and leave. Not the stores fault. Plenty of parking, no drive through.

Sorry to have to be that 1% but I purchased a book Sept.29 from this company to have shipped off to someone special in my life the book wasnt in the store so they waived my shipping fees as a courtesy to the customer my husband never received the after waiting two weeks spoke with a manager came into the store to be more personal about the matter I had to wait another week because supposedly the book was returned back to they warehouse for what ever reason I went up to the store again only this time I was told they refunded my money back which didnt matter to me any way and that they would reassure me the book would be sent to my husband so today I call in and guess what their is no tracking number to the shipment of my book wow by this time I said forget it because obviously they didnt care enough about me as a customer to make things right the right way Christian the management thank you for going the extra mile to make me a unsatisfied customer have a nice day!!!!

We have gone to Barnes & Noble many times shopping for books, but this was a real quick stop for a cookie 😄. Yes for a cookie. For those folks that do not know, Barnes & Noble not only sell a great section of books and magazines, but sell a selection of fantastic tasting cookies to enjoy while you sample your literature. So if you need a snack while you look for that favorite book, try Barnes & Noble.

I placed an online order here for a book and it said it be there within 3-5 days. Around a month later I finally get it.

My granddaughters are starting to read more so we will be there every month

They had particular edition of particular books which are hard to find, in stock. Friendly and helpful staff. My family always enjoys going here. You could spend hours looking around at all the beautiful hard bound editions of classic literary works.

I am by no means a bookworm. Every once in awhile a title comes out that I must have to read. As a brick-and-mortar shopper I visited this location. Super impressive store.They had exactly what I needed. I had no idea they sold a lot more than just books.I received five star customer service and was in and out. First class all the way.An experience you cannot get buying on Amazon. Highly recommended!

We love going to Barnes and Noble to look at books. Our whole household likes to read but we mainly visit the childrens section. I like how clearly the sections are labeled and how easy it is to find things of everybodys interest.

I love coming here. The smell hasnt changed in the two decades Ive been going, that awesome book store smell always hits you and you know youre in for a treat. Good prices as well, staff is very knowledgeable and cool.

I would love to have more seating. The cafe are is a little small compared to other Barnes and Noble book stores that I have been to. The service is great and so is the selection!

I dont go in & look for what I am shopping for, I ask somebody right away where that item would be & I always get it right where they said it would be. I like that about a store you hardly ever shop at.

This is pretty much what you would expect to find as far as a Barnes & Noble goes. Great selection of classic reprints with beautiful covers and even a selection of board games. Clean establishment and attentive employees, plus the Starbucks inside this location makes good drinks.

Im glad I was able to go here with a friend and study. We felt welcomed and were not rushed. We were able to stretch out near the coffee bar and it was very peaceful and easy to study. Afterward I went and browsed the magazines for nearly an hour and I never felt pressured to buy anything. I will definitely go here again

They were very helpful with my order I had sent to my house they ordered 2 books for me that the store didnt have the young man who helped me was so nice and at a time of the con 19 they were all wearing mask but you could still see they cared for all the people so my books are coming to the house so we will all be safer

The best bookstore in Waco. I love the atmosphere. The bookstore employee are very nice, friendly, sophisticated, and helpful. They can help you even if you just call them over the phone. I always buy a thick note with math grid. They are the best notebook or journal for engineer like me. Their kids corner is full with fun children books collection and games. It the best place to spend your weekend with the whole family. And they always have a bargain book especially if you are a member.

I wanted to give a shout out to the awesome staff who work here. I’ve always been treated very kindly by all the employees here and they always go out of there way to be helpful.Just an example: A week or so back I was looking for a box set of certain books. The computer said there was one left in the store but it wasn’t in its location. I’m guessing someone had taken it and moved it around. Anyway, one of the employees looked literally halfway across the store trying to find it. She even went into the back and was able to find it.Afterwards we were having some problems because I had lost my card, again the workers went out of there way to make sure I got my member discount and ordered me a new card.They price match for their members so I got it for the price online and with another 20% off coupon I saved a ton of money.Was there today as well and had an excellent experience. If the manager reads this: give your employees a thumbs up and yourself as well, you have an excellent staff, and you probably have a hand in it as well!Very satisfied and Barnes and Noble is the only place I go to now to buy books.

Ive never been disappointed by the atmosphere of Barnes and Noble. It doesnt seem to matter where in the country I go, I always walk in to the smell of coffee, a warm greeting, and a pleasant shopping experience. The employees are always friendly and the book selection is solid for both new releases and classics.

Barns and Noble has way more stuff than just books. They have a rather impressive spot with dice sets (for roll playing games), some popular plushies of video games, ect, a nice board game selection, and different puzzles. Plus theres a Starbucks in there.
