Marineland Boating Center does not perform engine work. Do not waste your time taking your boat here for anything more than simple maintenance. Think of Marineland as an oil change/tire repair shop. My Mercruiser began making a strange noise. Made an appointment to tow the boat in to have them check it out. They changed spark plugs thinking it may be spark knock. Unfortunately, faulty plugs were not the issue. At that point they informed that they do not employ a mechanic capable of diagnosing engine issues. All they could offer me was to install a new motor. ($11,000). I ended up taking it to a real mechanic who discovered a broken rocker hold down ($1,200). Not sure how they handle warranty and non-warranty repairs for those actually purchasing a boat from them? Mercury may want to reconsider how they recognize a dealer as a certified Mercury dealer.

We live out of town. Found our boat and and was directed to Jerri for financing. From that point forward we contacted Jerri for help and trust me we had a lot of questions. Jerri either answered the question or made certain a message was sent to the correct person to get the correct answer. She was able to deal with lenders and we received a great financing deal. The sales department were helpful as well. When I need to get answers in the future I am contacting Jerri to help. Buy your boat from Marineland Waco.

Went searching for a boat and wasn’t immediately set on a brand. I was desirous to purchase locally and decided on getting the boat I purchased from Marineland. Since my purchase I have made additional purchases through the parts center and have been pleasantly surprised by the efforts and attention given to me by Krystal at the parts dept. She always responds to my emails or phone calls and has been great to work with. I have also been very happy with the level of service provided by the service dept. They have done exactly everything that I have asked. I can’t recommend this local business more.I’d also like to add that Gabriel in the service dept has been awesome at getting my stuff done and also in staying in communication while my boat has been worked on. Very trusting service dept.

My interactions with Allan on the phone instantly gave me the confidence to proceed with his guidance and recommendations. He worked with me to find what I needed. Let me just say that my buy is a small purchase. It was a purchase for a motor. When I showed up he had a buyer for a purchase about 20x the price of my buy. He made me feel like I was his most important customer. Dare I say I even felt more important because of his customer care. Anyone can see right off the bat that he is in the right position and that he actually loves his job. I appreciate his extensive knowledge and joy for what he does. I’d been in a multistate search for my particular motor. He kept me constantly informed during my purchase as the motor needed to be primed prior to delivery. He didn’t waste my time. Been waiting for over 2 months to get approved to buy a boat. Allen, the guy who has been leading us on has made up excuses after excuses. “It’ll be here next week” “it’s the company not me”. He wasn’t very friendly to begin with, spoke to us rudely when we were just excited about getting a new boat saying “ you need to chill out. I don’t know when it’ll be here. Calm down”. Said over a month ago, it’ll be a week until they get the boat in, he doesn’t call when he says. This was all a huge waste of time and a waste of my credit. Do not buy from this place.

They had the perfect Yamaha for me and my family. I live 3 hours away from Marineland and could not just drive up for a visit. We worked with Allan and Jerri at Marineland of Waco for the purchase of our 2020 Yamaha 195S Jetboat. Could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. Both were very courteous and responsive to questions. We did find some minor damage to a couple of the rear Seadek mats on delivery that Allan had already noted and photographed. Other than that a perfect experience and they come highly recommended!

The best service around! Marineland Boating Center Waco helped us with all of our needs and helped get us a new boat with ease!

Unfortunately my experience was not quite as enjoyable as some folks on here. I called and spoke to Allan (who was great and lived up to the reviews). He was helpful and friendly enough that I drove almost 2 hours to get there. I found the boat I wanted, and then was told all the reasons I would want to buy a more expensive boat due to financing availability (before they even ran my credit). I decided that I would just outright pay for the boat I wanted and then the lady snickers and says either way you wont be taking it today and there will be a 3% fee for using debit. It is crazy, all the businesses right now that are trying to stir you away from using cash and this one penalizes for using debit. Talked to Steve and he was very rude from the time he walked out and not even willing to discuss options. Is what it is, lesson learned. I will definitely not be back. Overall I was very disappointed.
