Horrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Don’t bother wasting your time. These people were beyond rude and ignored our requests for assistance.Worse than that, the “bow specialist” is a complete nimrod. Prices were way too high for basic services that I now am taking to get fixed somewhere else. The dude can’t even tie in a peep sight correctly. If I could give a zero star review, I would.

I went in with a bow that I bought somewhere else and they informed me of the bad buy I made. The lady explained to me and help me get the bow set up so at least it wasn’t to much waste of the money I also bought a new release from them they are very helpful and nice people Ill continue going back to them for services. Thank y’all for the help

Started my bow hunting career back in 2009. My 1st bow wasn’t even bought from The Outhouse, but they took the time to check it out make sure it was tuned & aligned properly so I wouldn’t be disappointed. I’ve been doing my bow & accessory buying from these folks ever since and never have I been treated in a rude manor or ignored. These folks take the time to explain things. I will continue my bow buying from these folks.

Will never set foot in this place again, they were rude, and even cussed at me for waiting patiently as they talked on the phone, all I wanted to know if they charged to cut arrows.. And was going to buy my first Hoyt there, had the cash in my pocket....long story short I dont know how they stay in business.... With how they treat people

The staff is helpful. They have a large indoor range with reasonable prices for shooting. Ive purchased 3 bows from here over the last twenty years. They have new and used in stock. The only downside is when several customers are in the store, the staff can be stretched thin.

These folks are great, and sure they come across as pretty candid, but Ill take that any day.....I had recently purchased a compound from a larger big box retailer (begins with a C) over in the Marketplace...and their supposed archery tech screwed up the bow from the get go, and didnt align anything correctly.Im somewhat new to archery and saw the Out House has an indoor range, so went in to check it out...Alan is very knowledgeable and helpful. These people know their stuff, and pointed out where the idiot tech didnt do a proper job, the $10 for a spot on setup was well worth it, cant ask for more. They even gave very sound instructional shooting advice at no cost.

The folks here are incredibly helpful, and I cant imagine having gone anywhere else to get started in archery. I came into the store knowing almost nothing and they explained things clearly, didnt try to up-sell me, and gave me shooting tips. I highly recommend The Out House.

I bought a brand new bow from them about a weeks ago and spent over a thousand dollars with them. They took as little of time as the could setting my bow up and didn’t even offer to help me site the bow in. They seemed disgusted that I wanted to use all of my old add ons (sight, stabilizer, and release.) went to the Cabela’s down the road and they were more than helpful with a new bow I did not purchase from them. They are the only authorized Hoyt, Mathews dealer in town so I didn’t have much of a choice in where to buy a new bow from, but will take my business else where no matter how far I have to drive. Terrible attitudes and terrible customer service no matter how much you spend unless you are a “regular”.

After reading some nasty reviews I still decided to give them my business. Guy on the phone was a complete JACK A$$! Terrible customer service. Laughed at me and questioned me when I came to him for an appraisal. Then hung up on me.Dont recommend this place.

I came in with my old Hoyt bow that I had purchased at The Outhouse years before. i needed several supplies and an adjustment and re-measurement of my draw (after a shoulder injury & rehab) because I was hitting the wall just before full draw. My shock- the Owner/Old man said, Are you going to buy a new bow? No I dont need a new bow just an adjustment. His response, Then I wont measure you. I was shocked! I have purchased every single piece of Archery equipment from these guys since they opened. In fact several months back I had read some negative reviews about the owner, his rudeness and thought-Hes never been overly friendly but he gives good service. Well his true colors came out and I must say I will never give another $ to that owner & encourage others to shop elsewhere. In fact the $150ish in supplies was spent at friendly Cabelas.

Went in with my nephew to have a new string put on. After having it installed I asked about paper tuning and was told inside 20 yds the bow doesnt need to be paper tuned (my nephew is shooting a whisker biscuit).Quite frankly they were rude, and the paper tuning part is something I can do myself, but other bow shops do this as a courtesy because its a starting point to tuning a bow.Dont waste your time with this shop. Try Alvarado Archery or another shop further south. I trust these guys about as much as I would a Cabelas to work on my bow, and that aint much!

Bunch of crooks! $35 to install a new bow string, that I already owned and $8 for a single string loop??? They don’t have prices posted so you don’t find out till after the work is done. Will NEVER come back here again.
