Preference to shop at Hobby Lobby. This store has bare shelves and 3 workers. Really?? Just now bringing any Christmas decor?? A bit late for crafters in my world. Prices too high as well.....

I had difficulty finding what I needed for my wedding. The selection was greater pre-Covid. This is problem in most stores. The store was clean and organized. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Terrible customer service... some little guy with combed black hair was talking to me too closely and I could smell his breath through his 2 masks.. get him a dentist... I think he was management by the tone he was using... anyways... he should be fired immediately thx for listening

I had some paintings framed for my wifes birthday. They frame shop was fantastic. As I am not the artist in the family, the frame manager was great. She helpped me pick out the correct colors of matting and great custom frames for a fair price since frames are dang expensive

First time at this store and the greeter was so very nice and helpful before even entering the store. The cashier was wonderful and smiling behind her mask and could hear it in her voice. So nice to go someplace with happy workers

Understaffed for such a giant store but the employees were very helpful when there and before we arrived, when they held what we wanted, behind the counter.

I came in specifically for the latte cake yarn. The selection was decimated. The yarn selection, in and of itself, was meh. Much less than other Michaels, significantly more than a Walmart. I was actually quite impressed with the collection of Susan Bates hooks available.

Good location in a strip mall filled with many stores. Its a short drive off the freeway and easy to find. The store is large and pretty well maintained, organized and clean. Friendly employees and goods selection.

While the night staff is very friendly they seemed very inexperienced and ill-informed about their inventory. It took over 15 minutes for them to locate a product (cricut Maker) and bring it to the checkout counter. They also didnt know whether or not they had liquid chalk and did not have iron-on patches like most other stores. Either this location is far less stocked or much smaller than the one in Escondido.

Wasnt sure what I wanted for framing a painting. Got everything done and I cant wait to see it.

The store had most products that you might need for a project, but it was not very well maintained, in the sense that there was product in places it shouldnt have been. The selections for each of the hobby sections was also standard, there was enough to have a few options to choose from but not enough to make it so you could really browse. I was never approached or greeted by am associate but that doesnt necessarily make it a bad thing in my case, where I like to take my time and look at my own pace.

Sales on sales on sales and if what you want isnt on sale then search for a coupon bc they always have one. As for the vista location it is usually well stocked and clean. Some of the employees are more knowledgeable about doing projects then others but they are all friendly and helpful. My one complaint is all the kid traps by the registers. The little toys and beanie babies literally form the aisles for the line. Not a big deal and not the only store to do it but still annoying.

Got the last Cricut Air 2, and the girl helping me was super helpful, polite and professional.

At one level, with a lack of small or independent art supply stores in North County we, and I hate to say this, need Michaels. On the other hand, Michaels is one of the worst shopping experiences one can have.Michaels is another big box chain that doesnt bother staffing the stores. You can always find an overworked cashier at the front but anything else will depend on luck and karma.Michaels pricing is high but, they are incontinent couponers. Which means if you sign up for their email club and read their circular you can find deals. Sort of. Lots of restrictions and you submit yourself their bombardment with email. But you get 40% off one item (with restrictions). Its a horrible way to shop.I avoid this store and order online when I can. When I have to, I go there but after two visits, each one bad, Im going to try really hard to never go there again.

Good place for art supplies

If you go to their framing department, youll be surprised at how knowledgeable their staff is. Ive framed two original oil paintings there and Ive been very happy with the results. If you go to any other department and you are in need of someone who has any kind of art knowledge, youll be disappointed. I think they need to hire knowledgeable staff, art students, or people with some previous experience in creative crafts. I would have purchased a lot more had I had the proper guidance at the store.

I placed an online order for curbside pickup which took them almost 24 hours to prepare. I went to pick it up and i left as they placed order in trunk. Upon arriving to my destination (30 min altogether). I noticed i got the wrong item! I called immediately and was told to go back and they would check to see my order and see if they could replace. Now keep in mind, they arent supposed to take any returns or refunds. I have no time to go again. I ask if i am able to go to another store nearby closer to my house and it seems i am speaking with the Vista store manager and goes off. He states that no store will be able to help me even though this is THEIR MISTAKE! He continues to tell me he is risking his employees by taking my item back (even though i did nothing wrong!)If Michaels gave me a wrong item and still gave me a cheaper item, why is it that i had to pay more & still be told they cant fix their problem? Why cant they give me my item?My point is theres no reason to go off on me and talk to your customers with disrespect. If you are so concerned about risking your employeesThen do the damn right thing or shut down!You are ridiculously rude! Stealing money, what a joke!Learn respect and learn to manage situations correctly. What type of manager are you.!

Christmas decorations down every aisle. Pretty pricey. 6 wooden soldiers $250 each. I think I will wait until after Christmas & see if they go on sale.LOL

My first time in the frame shop. The clerk was super nice and helpful. The turn around time is fast. Did I mention it wasnt too expensive.

You can feed your creative imaginations here, and gather supplies needed to make it happen. There are times I walked in with no plans, and going out with numerous ideas for future projects, and everything are already here.

I went here for the first time recently with my boyfriend and this place is so cute! I wish I had money to buy everything I wanted from here. It is also very organized which is a total PLUS.

One of the worst services I’ve ever had. I placed an order at noon, their sites says the order will be ready by the end of day (as long as you order it before three), I called them around 4 stating I never got a confirmation email. The guy who answers the phone says, it’ll be ready by tomorrow night, I asked confused why I wasn’t emailed and why it would be pushed back so far. He says “ I have 50 orders ahead of you, I’ll get to your order when I get to it”. Gee thanks, that’s fine, but why wouldn’t I get an email or something stating my order has been pushed back. Next day, I call again to ask the status on my order, I’m put on hold for 15 minutes, for a girl to answer what I need help with, (after I told her the first time and she said she would check), to then be told, oh that order was canceled. I mention I never got an email, and Again was blown off. I’m aware things get pushed back because of Covid-19, but it would have been nice if one of their employees talked nicely, or even thought to note that even though I have an account with them, A email was never sent. Or I don’t know, maybe apologized for the confused instead of blowing me off.

They have what you need when it comes to doing craft projects. Prices are reasonable, sometimes even cheaper than online. You can find coupons to use to push the cost down even more!They also have a military discount as well.I love going here every so often to see whats new.

Lost a few customers today. I usually love this store and have no complains! Not today. I arrived at 645 and the doors were locked and the lady was literally standing there watching people walk away but didnt offer to let us in. I completely understand that its Sunday and everyone just wants to go home but closed at 7 means you lock the doors at 7... not before.

Check out was easy and quick. They are well stocked. This Michaels is a big one

Poor selection of art supplies if youre looking for something beyond entry level. Also way overpriced - dont buy art supplies without using a 50% off coupon or getting them to price match with Blicks. Look closely at brushes for damage, as all of their stock is poorly organised and people put them in the bins upside down after removing the protective cover. This is my last resort, but I really need this size brush store.

Thought customer service could be bumped up a bit. Especially if you ask the same person twice where things are and they dont have the courtesy to show you. But instead they make you find it on your own. Would have given five stars if there was more effort.

Place was clean. Was waited on for check out very quickly. How ever trying to get help was very difficult. I walked up and down aisles trying to find someone. I finally did and he was very kind but only a stock person. He made a call for assistance. I waited and no one came. Young man saw me still waiting called again and still no help. He went looking for a floor person. He came back said he was sorry but everyone was in a meeting except stock help and the one cashier? So I gave Michaels a second chance today 1-16-19. It was a tad bit better but I find an assistant today. Just was given wrong aisles. But that was better than nothing. I did find items but in my opinion products were overly priced. I went to another competitor and their price was cheaper even without a coupon. I did find a bargain as I was walk out to leave some books of stickers for rewards for a friend. My cashier was friendly and check out was a breeze.

Great store always clean the only drawbacks are low stock and higher needed items and the layout of the store is a little odd. Extremely expensive to do a childs mission project for school not everyone is well off but every child should feel like theyve done a good job (being able to afford the items others can) helps when presenting that model
