I got a cold Vietnamese spiced coffee as their espresso machine wasnt working and hot drinks werent available at that time. To my pleasant surprise the coffee wasnt super sweet and the taste was pretty balanced. The coffee shop could do well with a few board games (they have a decent book collection that I appreciated).

If you want really coffee, this is the place to go. It is a small coffee shop with great employees and again the coffee is so good.

I live in Florida and order online. I had an issue with an order not getting delivered. I called and Ryan had a new order out within the hour of my phone call. I really appreciate that. Love this coffee and will happily continue to support this business. Thank you Ryan!

We go here weekly to buy the coffee beans. This visit I also indulged in a hot London Fog (black tea, berry syrup, milk) and a delicious brownie. They always have decadent sweet treats and amazing coffee. Atmosphere is conducive to visiting and there is a sense of community.

Strong coffee that dosnt hurt your stomach perfectly done

Ive been here twice and have had the cold brew with cream, PB and Honey Latte, and a brownie. The drinks were a little bitter and stronger than Im used to (I got a headache after drinking both), but its probably because Im used to drinking sugary/milk/cream-heavy drinks from Starbucks. Id still go back though, especially for the aformentioned latte. Theres a station to add sugar and stuff to your drinks too and price-wise its in the same range as Starbucks. The brownie though--- oooof let me tell you--- that guy was HEAVENLY. Im sure if you are a coffee connoisseur you will really like this place.

The service was decent, but the espresso here was really sad. I ordered a vanilla latte and an iced Americano. My latte was watered down. It tasted like milk, syrup, and NO ESPRESSO. My uncles Americano had the same problem. (When the Americano came out, I swore it was iced tea!) It was incredibly weak. Skip this place if youre looking for a strong, aromatic drink.

This is a great little coffee roasting café... the roaster is right in the main area of the cafe and sounded by the tables... the fragrance is awesome!

I always have a pretty good experience here. Coffee is good and the prices are about average. The atmosphere is nice and usually not particularly crowded. Service is usually quick and professional but not exceptionally friendly. If I had any complaint it would be that they could call out your order a little louder on occasion. I definitely recommend.

First time at Mavericks and I was very pleased with it. Good selection of hot and cold drinks as well as full beans to-go. Nice shop with a good amount of seating with a nice atmosphere. We got the quiche and it was really good! Excited to try the cinnamon roll we got to-go. If I lived in the area Id be a repeat customer

Mavericks Coffee provided me with excellent customer service. My package/coffee got lost in the mail over the holidays. Even though the shipment was confirmed delivered (it got lost in our apartment concierge) they mailed me a new bag via USPS at no charge. I emailed them and reported that I didnt receive the shipment. They were so nice and immediately wrote back that they would send me a replacement. It arrived yesterday. Thank you Ryan!! The coffee is delicious.

Havent been here in years but had time to come by today. Light ice peppermint lattee gentleman who made you rocked it! Think you all are missing a great opportunity I remember when they had music would like to see the cuteness put back music inside so much potential but that being said your prices beat Starbucks for what you get and quality

What an experience! Not only is it the best coffee Ive ever had, but the people are great!Saddle Blaster by winter. Mocha Shake by summer. Cappuccino for all other occasions. The foam is phenomenal! If you can catch one of the intimate concerts, treat yourself!

First time going here. Theres a real nice band that plays one Saturday a month. Relaxing music, good vibes. Ordered a Cafe Macchiato and a BLT sandwich. The BLT was decent, but the Cafe Macchiato was really good. Good service, easy-to-find parking. I recommend this place.

I live in San Diego, but my Mother lives just a few blocks away from Mavericks. Now, San Diego has a few micro-roasters to boast about (including one that held the title of national micro-roaster of the year), and I love them.I like Mavericks better.First, they brew their coffee in pour-over fashion. Takes a little longer, but so worthwhile. Second, They know how to roast coffee. I brought back a pound of Ethiopian coffee that was one of the best coffees Ive ever had, for what a pound of Starbucks would cost you!Any coffee lover within a 50-mile radius of this store, should be buying their coffee at Mavericks.Now I just need to find out if they ship coffee to San Diego...

Been coming to Mavericks and buying their coffee since they opened. Love the atmosphere and especially the coffee and the way it is prepared. If you like decaf, then know that Mavericks decaf is chemical free which is why I give them a 5 star!

Upscale coffee bar. Descriptions on some of their specialty coffee was a little misleading, if you are the type to need room for cream SAY SO! They fill the cups to the very tippy top. I had an amazing cappuccino.

I was actually at the pet store next door, Sweetie Paws, visiting Santa and getting pics of my friends animals with him. Lots of homemade treats for your dog!!!

Support local coffee shops. For me, the price is worth it. The coffee is very good. Many loyal customers still frequent even after new ownership. That should speak in and of itself.

Figured i would give this place a chance since i live down the street. 3 people working no one in line. Stood around for 5 minutes for someone to take our order. One was busy talking on the phone and the other two made no effort to help.Left with nothing.

Heard about this place on New Rock 104.1, so decided to stop by on recent visit to Visalia. Ordered a Americano hot with no cream or sugar and a Cold Brew with no cream or sugar. I normally order one or the other but really wanted to test these guys out. I must say both were excellent as were very flavorful, and rank with some of the better roasts I have ever had. Needless to say I found my new spot to grab coffee whenever I am in Visalia, glad I signed up for the rewards program.UPDATE: Have made several return visits and am attempting to make why way through the variety of roasts they offer including Mavericks Blend, Midnight Ride, Sequoia, and Peru. I have yet to be disappointed. Smells especially delicious when the roaster is going. Staff has always been friendly. This place is what a coffee house should be!

I went on a Saturday, there was only one person working and had to wait for 20 minutes to get my drink. Also my order was messed up, wanted a lattee but got a cappuccino and the milk was overheated. The barista needs to be properly trained, Starbucks is allot better unfortunately. I expect more from this roastery especially with the high prices
