Great clearance sale today at good Ole JC PENNYS in visalia. My receipt said I saved $522.00 my cost $186.93! I did have a gift card which also took off $56.95. So all in all I say it was a great day.

I honestly love Jcpenny The Have Great Deals… but the last time when I went (2 weeks ago) I seriously left so upset So I went to go buy clothes for my daughter for back to school & there was so many cute clothes so I got several & Honestly I didn’t pay attention how much she was actually charge me until I saw they it came out more then 120 just for 6pairs or ítems & I was like why so expensive? So I checked the Receipt & saw they charged me for 2 pair of shirts one $25 & other $12 & the sign said it was $7.99 & the other $4.99 So I went to the customer service/pickup & honestly I wish I asked for her name so I could’ve report it but It was a white lady she loved like 50years old & blond hair anyways she was so RUDE!!!!!! I just asked her “I just had a question about to items & she was like yeah? Then told her & took out the 2 shirts & told her that I was wondering why the were charging me so much on these if they’re sign saying they’re on sale with a repeated ones & she’s all like Oh No! Those Ain’t In Sale But Believe But Where Did I Get Them At? & I Told Her Where So She Went To Go See “Like If I Was Lying “ She Comes Back Saying On Yes It Up There But They Put It Wrong But That’s Not The Price It’s For Something Else See? ( She Took A Picture Of It) But Yet Have A Whole Bunch There With That Sign So I Told I Don’t Want Then So She Gave Me My Money Back So When I Turned Around She Told Me I’ll Tell Them To Put Bigger Signs So I Can See The Words Bigger! Like Saying I’m Blind?? That Was So Rude & When I Got Hoke I Saw On My App On Jcpenny & They Were On Sale As I What I Saw On That Damn Sign So I Order Them On The Internet They seriously need to get better staffs there & tell them that they need to be respectful cuz they’re getting payed thanks to us for the customers that keep buying from that store I give it a 3 just cuz of the worker being so rude

The service was excellent specifically from one staff by name “Ari” who helped us shop for our wedding attires we wanted and she genuinely suggested to us available options (shoes to suits to shirts to maids and kids dresses to ties just to mention a few) which we agreed to and made our whole shopping an awesome experience.

Im giving this place 2 stars instead of 1.There is this salesperson on Saturday 5-8-2021 she was wearing all black clothes, she was so unprofessional cause she didnt care weather we were buying or not. She was to busy looking at other people in the store. She only looked me and my twice one to tell us how much and where to scan my card, no thank you or anything. I was going to ask her to look at something else but she just walked away.I told my wife lets get the hell out of here.I hope the rest of the sales people arent like this. I was very disappointed

Whatever you do dont lose your receipt. I brought back clothes that didnt fit my son. Life is hectic,I lost the receipt. Even though it was clear by the clearance tag on the clothes, they gave us the lowest price from the last 45 days. I barely received half of what I paid for. Money is very tight so it was very depressing. Especially when the lady from customer service puts you down for being irresponsible because I lost my receipt. There was no need for that.

The aged JC Penny in the Hanford mall has seen better days, and you can tell that bankruptcy is effecting the look and feel of the store and merchandise.Items arent stocked properly, items are laying on the ground and getting dirty, customer service reps look depressed working there, etc...That said, everything is pretty much priced low in order for them to get sales. Now is the time to buy what you need.

Super busy due to the holidays but the store is always well stocked and staff is friendly.

The store is a very nice store, but I remember back then before the pandemic hit, the general manager Gina was being very rude to another manager in the salon making a scene. What type of manager does that in front of customers? Also, i go in and see her, and she just looks mean. Tbh, I kinda feel bad for the associates. But I do recommend shopping here. If I were you, just don’t ever talk to the general manager unless you really has to.

Fully stocked store, youll find anything you need in terms of clothes, bedroom, and kitchen wares. The wait times in the lines were very long only because there was only one cashier available. Expect to wait 10min or longer in line.

Customer service online and in store are horrible. They dont send emails or calls of orders that have came in until AFTER you pick up your orders. Online, you dont get a tracking number until AFTER you pick up your order. Lines are really long with maybe 4 registers open at one time.

We went in the morning and everything was nice and put together. Stopped back by later for an exchange and the store looked as if a tornado came through. What is wrong with people??? ( This is not a reflection of the store but rather a warning about the people that shop here)Exchange went well and was taken care of . Very satisfied with that experience.

Was very disappointed with the workers. My boyfriend and I dressed in our comfy clothes. (Myself: yoga pants. Boyfriend: basketball shorts) We both had our sun glass and hat because it was a hot day. I do have a mini back pack as a pure(they are in style). We noticed men follow us in the store. We didnt pay attention at first until we herd the man radio spacifacly say our location and clothes description. I would have never thought that I would be profiled as a thef because of my clothes. We just needed to find tie for my sister in laws wedding. Will never go back again. Made us feel uncomfortable and not welcomed.

Horrible customer service. This one lady bragged to a customer about how long shes been at JCPenney working in retail since Macys first opened. Yet she ignores customers standing in line a customer service. Not busy pretending to look up something for over 10 min. Worst thing Is a manager walks by and says nothing about. So we walk all the across the store to pay for an item. After waiting another 10 min finally we are done. Walk back by and phone pretender was gone to lunch. Sad how far down JCPENNEY has sunk. One of the worst experience. Its amazing these people are employed.

Found a few items for great price...you have to take your time in here and look at all the sale racks because people put stuff in different areas to hide for later

I ordered a ring online which said 4 to 12 days delivery. It was misplaced and not sent to the jewelry dept and i never got a phone call or email to let me know it came in. So my daughter in law got her engagement ring 3 weeks after he proposed since no one thought to let me know it had came in. Ring is beautiful though and at least I have it now. Just irritated in their process.12/5/19 update went to add ring coverage on my lunch break at 1pm. They said it would be an easy add. It took me standing at the counter for 20 before they even said well be with you. Then they couldnt find my order again to even add it even with my receipt and order. The lady got so flustered she was mumbling under her breath about how to get it done and getting no help from the other ladys working the counter. Needless to say it took my entire hour lunch to get it taken care of. They were not polite, they didnt care and I will avoid purchasing from them in the future.

They tell you they cannot do a return at a certain register when you get up there after youve waited forever. Long lines, 3 checkers, after waiting 8 minutes 1 of them left. still 10 people in line!!!!! Set something to the young checker in his comment was my bad, I just work here Is that really the way you train your employees.
