Joann Fabric and crafts needs to expand there collection of higher quality flannel and cottons. For example theyre batik fabric is fantastic in quality. They need to expand there choices in 108 inch backing fabric as well. If they narrowed down and concentrated their product selections to only certain hobby lines they could have more choices. An example would be get rid of art supplies and frames which are very limited. Also curios and home decoration is to small a selection for there space limitations. Expand your sewing machines, cricut, baking supplies and decorating notions etc.

We really did enjoyed the store with so much to look at & to see 👀 my daughter had came for some beads & left with so much more! & thanks to the help of the cashier for price checking on some of the items on sale & for the discounts she really made our day! 💯%+

The clearance deals are awesome but the regular priced merchandise is beyond expensive! While some staff is knowledgeable others not so much, Ive even heard them give misinformation where Ive corrected the customer after employee has walked away. Store is always clean & they do have the best selection on fabric & related material.

Although Im not much of a seamstress. I would say that this is probably one of the best stores Ive been in for Fabrics. They have a lot to choose from. I went their one time and bought a magnifying glass, still have it. Its a great store. kind of locall. A bit southwest. Depending. But convenient to get to for all the local townships. ALL IN ALL . . . A GOOD PLACE.

This is one of my favorite places in Visalia. The fabric selection is absolutely fantastic. I never leave this store without at least purchasing one item but its usually a lot more than one

Greeted when I walked through the door by a very nice young man! Wasn’t asked if I needed help throughout the store by the other employees there.. Other than that, the options for what I was looking for there wasn’t much a variety of. The same young man which I wish I knew his name was so helpful & kind at the register. Was able to answer any questions I had about product & returns.

People are nice, but the choices of type of materials isnt great, lots of patterns and colors for each type though

Angela, Chelsea and the other senior staff are really fantastic. (Not wrong with the new guys) But its really nice dealing with familiar faces and crafty know-how.

Excellent staff, always friendly and helpful. Theres a young man Mathew who always helps me figure out just what I need, hes such a pleasure to be around and so helpful. The store manager is so hard working and really keeps her staff productive. Everything is so organized and easy to find. Download the app and sign up for email. You get the best coupons and discounts. If you are looking for holiday decorations they always have great deals and adorable stuff. The fabrics selection is so amazing too, you want it they probably have it in stock and if they dont have it they will see if another store has it. I bought a pillow and they found me another one at a different location and I just came back and picked it up. Andrew made my day that day.

Clean, not completely stocked, maybe its because of Covid 🤷‍♀️, but went to look for some yarn... very little selection. Shelves were almost empty

Andre at the Visalia, CA store provided outstanding service to me over the phone. I was trying to help a friend who lives in Austin, TX who was searching for a particular fabric that wasnt available to her locally. So she asked her Facebook friends around the country to check with their own local stores. I called and happened to get Andre, who searched for it (with the Item # my friend provided) and found nothing immediately. But then he said, if I can put you on hold for a minute or two theres another computer I can check. When he came back on, he gave me the names, phone #s, and yardage available at five stores one each in VT, NY, GA, WI, & MN! I shared the info with my friend and shes going to pay at her local store which is where the Vermont store will be shipping the fabric. Again, kudos to Andre and to Joanns for exceptional service. Love how welcoming the workers are..

I wanted a simple pattern which they did not have. The sign outside mentioned sales prices that didnt seem to actually exist in the store. It is very disappointing advertising practices.

I am able to find items here that I cannot find at the other two craft stores. They have a liquid hand soap at register that not only smells good but does not cause my hands to break out. Plus, only $1.00 a bottle.

Joann Fabrics had an inviting atmosphere, and their store was very well maintained. The associates were very helpful and gave good customer service.

Their thermostat is out and its like a sauna in there, its been out for 3-4 days

I like going here to this store I never want to leave I love looking at everything, the last two times I have gone there is a staff who is disrespectful I asked her about if we need a ticket still to get in line and she say “what” very rude instead of say it a nicer way! Then I went Sunday same worker was there a lady asked about the hours of getting in line for the curb pick up and she tells her “what” she needs costumer service training! All in all I love the store

The message always from this stores is why are you even here Arab. Im not even a protected class Im latino spa-ita mix. Many do bad gestures there. Outer that items there are very variate a bit expensive but good.

Had my daughters 6th birthday party today and it was wonderful. The women leading the party were attentive to the children, very friendly and patient. They kept the party on track, and best of all the kids had a great time!

Fleece was arranged with minimum organization. I couldnt find Fresno State, and the clerks said that lots of people have asked. It is an okay craft store, but I now purchase most if my fabric online. I am able to find the special fabrics I need.

Today 5/1/2020, my husband stood in line outside, social distancing from approximately 3:00 pm-3:30 pm. There were 2 employees standing outside as well. At approximately 3:30 a woman employee came out and said, “We are closed,” and turned around and went back inside. No explanation. No apology despite the website stating the Visalia store was open until 4:00. Very rude and frustrating!

I found so many materials and ideas for my New projects, but the service will be bringing me back from now on. Katelyn was so helpful and patient with me, I almost forgot what great service was 🤔. Thanks for this store !

Went to the Visalia store on 12-28-19 to buy a Happy Planner and some sticker books. The sign stated, 50% off the Happy Planner and Happy Planner accessories (there was no Doorbuster sign up). I got to the register, the Planner rung up at 50% off, but not the other Happy Planner accessories. I told the young lady what the sign states and she stated, “well, it’s not ringing up at 50% off.” She asked the other young girl at the other register about it. They both developed a little bit of an attitude after I kept questioning it. They didn’t want to go look at the posted sign nor did they want to call someone about it. I bought the items anyways because I needed them. I just won’t go back to that store again. I was very disappointed with the customer service. I will just stick with the Michael’s store, their staff is more knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and they acknowledge you when you walk through the door. JOANN’s is definitely nowhere near being a Michael’s.

Employees can use more training in distinguishing the difference between thread and cord. After I called to ask if they sold thick industrial thread they said they do so I drove out there from Hanford. When I arrived, They kept sending me to an area in back of the store, but they were actually large enormous rolls of cord. Other than that they do have a large selection of thread but for Domestic Sewing machines only not commercial or Industrial. Oh and despite the employees lack of knowledge, they were nice and really were trying to be helpful.

Building is clean & staff are friendly. Naturally they are running low on some fabric supplies because everyone is making items for this pandemic, but still lots of cute prints to choose from.

Love Joanns but when they moved to the new Visalia location they cut out so much that I have to go to other places more now.
