In case people dont want to read the whole thing. !!!!THEY ARE RIP OFFS!!!!! Main Street Smog falsely advertises. Their sign says $29.75. Conveniently located across from the DMV. But what they advertise on their signs is not what they have to offer once youre in this business. I went here because I like to support local businesses, however I will not be going back. The front desk lady had a child (a child) doing the paperwork for her which is VERY unprofessional. I had to get a transfer smog for my car. I asked the woman how much it would be and she says $58.00. I said but what about your sign? I said is there fine print or something because thats false advertisement. She quickly with attitude says shell speak to the owner, knowing full well its a family owned business. And she just takes the paper. I asked again why it wasnt up there and she tells me oh its more because the car is 2000 or older. I understand most places will charge a little more, but she charged me double. Then my car was ran down to the gas light and failed because of an OBD11 system check failure. I looked it up (on Google) and it said it was probably due to the low gas levels it will cause the test to fail. The mechanics know this information. He proceeded to tell me my car battery was reset to avoid a check engine light as if I didnt know what he was referring to and told me to drive it a couple hundred miles. I got the car 5 days ago and put 300 miles on it already, if it were the check engine light it would have been on already. I didnt think that was right. I paid, went home, and researched a little bit. I should have looked at the reviews of this place. Its clear they value their pocketbooks more than credibility with customers and lure in people who may not know as much about cars. Predators and rip offs. My dad called back and they told him I didnt read the sign correctly. But before I left I took photos of the signs. No sign on that building says it will cost double for a car older than the year 2000. It appears that these prices are brought up on a customer basis because other posters have been subject to her pricing that is not stated anywhere. I would not recommend their company is not credible or trustworthy. Attached are photos proving their signs are false.

This place is not what it says on the map!!Its now a hydroponic shop so dont be taking your car to get smogged here anytime soon!!

ATT: DO NOT GO...I went for something simple and now my whole car is mess up. They put in the wrong part and promise to fix it in 3 days. I left my car and its been 5 days later they wont pickupick my phone calls. I Uber there and they havent touch it. The next day I was able to pick it up but still my car is not working like how it did even before I took it in. I feel like because Im a girl they took advantage of me. I paid over $1000 and now I sold the car as is. I feel mistreated, lie too, and taken advantage of. I just wanted out with them.

I called to get an appointment to get my Mustang smogged at 9am, they set my appt. for 10am and I was driving back home by 10:20 am. What more can I say? In and out, in no time flat. Ill definitely use them next time...

Have used in the past and enjoyed the fast service like others have mentioned. Unfortunately got pressured into an oil change basic @ $56.54 (astronomical price!) to ensure passage of the smog test. Realized afterwards I have a PZEV it would have passed the emission test! I got duped won’t be returning here again! Paid over $100 for smog and oil change beware!

They gave me a quote on my car and two weeks before I took it in. I paid exactly what they said, they were finished when they said, I would recommend this place for sure.

Still got charged $60 for my car to fail test, then wanted to charge me another $80 to tell me how to fix it. Plenty of better/cheaper places to go downtown.

Worst place to get your car smogged. Came in and they told me I needed my timing fixed in order for it to get smogged. I said okay. 3 days later my car messed up. Took it back to them and they took 2 hours to look at my car. I waited an hour and they haven’t even looked at it yet.
