Right away I observed Mark was not friendly. I took my car in for an evap system leak. I already used a code reader so I knew the problem. Google shows that repair shouldnt be more than 200$ even for the worst leak. I was quoted at 95$. Four days later my car was done and Mark charged me 330$! He said it was because he also had to replace the gas cap with a Honda gas cap (on line the most expensive gas cap I could find was 35$).I have a family and 330$ is devastating to us. I feel like I got scammed. I dont know if he does this to all his customers but I have a Bernie bumper sticker and he had a pro Trump sticker in his garage, coincidence? Ill be warning all my friends, customers, and coworkers and Marks shop.

I have a lot of stories about Mark, and they are all good. Ive been with him for years, and I am always satisfied with his work and his price. Hes a great guy. Im glad my friend recommended him to me... Hard to find a great mechanic that has all the attributes: fair, friendly, etc. [I have a brother in law who is like Mark in that he can listen, smell and otherwise sense the problems; Thats how good hes at his job. Mark is the only other guy I know who can do this.] Recommend that you bring your car(s) there. John Davis

Even a Toyota with a sterling frequency of repair record requires some loving care as it ages. I didn’t have a specific mechanic for my car when the inevitable finally happened last spring. Fortunately, a good friend of mine – a retired teacher much beloved in the community – was kind enough to recommend his mechanic, a former student in high school, when I inquired about what he did to keep his Toyota up and running. Now, after three visits to mechanic Mark Franich’s shop, I can say that I have lucked out in discovering a guy who is competent, personable, and willing to go out of his way to solve automotive problems.

There are mechanics and then there are specialists. If you want your toyota, honda, acura, or lexus running like the fine piece of engineering that it is, then you need to take it to a specialist. Mark and his shop are the place to go. Since they work only on limited makes of cars, they know their stuff.I have found Mark to be a truly honest and personable guy and trust him fully when I take my truck to his shop. I am very grateful to the friends that sent me to him. My only concern and fear is that someday I will have to move and be away from such a great mechanic and person.Every time I visit he asks about my family and how things are in my town. He is that kind of guy. When you visit, give Shadow (the dog) some loving scratches.

Mark is so helpful, he fixed my Acura very fast and explained every little detail and the price so affordable. He even help me out of work hours. Thanks Mark! This is the best place to take your foreign car to get it fixed. Too bad he is about 4 hours away from me, otherwise I would it take my car there instead other places. God Bless Him!

After having expensive repairs on my 2000 Toyota, I was then told that I needed a transmission as I was still having problems. I wanted a second opinion and a friend referred me to Foreign Auto Works. I spoke with Mark explained to him my situation, he drove my car and he knew right away just by listening what the problem was & I did not need a transmission! Mark is a great mechanic (and I’ve been to many), he is very honest and doesn’t suggest/perform unnecessary work. I had a million questions, he was patient and answered all my questions in a way I could understand (I know nothing about engines). Lastly, he does not overcharge or charge for repairs that were not done which have happened to me with other mechanics. His prices are very reasonable. I trust Mark I will definitely take my car to him whenever it needs to be serviced. Thank you Mark, God Bless You!Barbara S.Visalia
