I went their last night, I used the self checkout and didnt realize it was 20 items or less - the lady working that area was incredibly rude telling me and my family that next time we need to go through the cashier, but their was no one else in line. Im not sure why she was rude but she was. I was there Nov 8, 2021 checking out around 8:30pm. I tried to explain that we didnt see the sign and she completely ignored me.

Finally made it out to check this place out... crazy big... tons of stuff.... decent prices... if you havent been check it out! Wish it was a little closer... but we will make it a point to go every now and again.

Ordered a Greek Santorini salad for my wife and in her experience Greek salads typically have more vegetables, less of the lettuce and more prominent chunks of Feta cheese. Wegmans Greek salad was a wonderful size portion, but to quote her: Wheres the cucumbers? (I said probably diced, not sliced) then next, They forgot the cheese! with Oh, there it is. and lastly, Its supposed to have onions. and she never found those at all. The Greek dressing tasted just fine and the presence of Olives was noteworthy. ... I had a medium portion of Tuscan soup with Turkey sausage and it was delicious!

Great store, so much to see and explore. The desert area is fantastic for any upcoming holiday for non-bakers. Fresh fruits and veggies.

Clean store and very helpful employees. Unfortunately, we got there a little too late to get something hot from the deli area for supper. We will be back sooner in the day to get some of the awesome hot food for supper.

Wegmans has become one of my favorite places to shop. There is so much variety and the quality is excellent. I love the sushi, and if they are out of your favorite you can wait while someone makes it for you. There are so many wine choices as well. I always pick up fresh flowers for my home. There is an assortment of rose petals for $2.00, which can add a romantic element to your date night. I have been looking at a couple of plants that I am thinking about buying. There is a wide selection of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. I probably spent 10 minutes in the tea aisle the last time I was here because there are so many options to choose from. There is a delightful train that children look forward to seeing. I try not to overindulge but the baked goods and delicious dessert aisles will make your mouth water. The fries at the burger bar are delicious and the portions are enough for a few people from one order. The staff is courteous and helpful. Wegmans is absolutely one of my favorite places to shop.

Selection is overwhelming! Prices were very decent in comparison to some opinions. I really did not see anything overpriced except beef, but am sure thevqualiry matches those prices... Very nice shop. Will be going back for sure. Thanks Wegmans!!

Its kind of like Whole Foods but less expensive. Love the selections for produce and they have an entire aisle dedicated to dietary needs (like gluten-free and vegan), but there are items in the regular aisles as well.You can weigh and print out price stickers for your produce or bulk bin items to place on bags. This helps speed up checkout.Great selection of beers and wines.One thing to keep in mind for self checkout, its Card Only. Those paying with cash will need to use a regular register and theres usually plenty open.

Pretty store with a great variety of freshly prepared foods. Very pricey and staff was not engaging with the customers would be my only negative. Ambience and atmosphere were excellent, cleanliness I found very good, Beautiful store.

Some items are pricey but the bakery is great. The prepared meals are quite tasty. There is something for everyone and many unique items. Wine and beer selections are outstanding

I love the store the food is so delicious so fresh tasting its just expensive I wish they had some kind of savers program or something I literally would buy all my stuff from here but I cant afford that Im a single parent I barely get food stamps but it cost the arm and a leg to feed your kids good food why is it so cheap to feed them bad food doesnt make sense but I sure have picked up on food pantry items just so I can save money to buy the meat and other bread pastry stuff that I do love here I will cut corners everywhere else just so I can buy what I want from here can we get a single moms program or single parents program something a hole punch every $50 you save five dollars any type of coupon savings anything I would take it

This was my first visit and it was the day before valentines day. They were off the chart busy. We didnt go in for anything in particular but ended up with some fudge and other sweets. We also grabbed some oysters and scallops. The store is very impressive, the staff is not only great but you get a genuine sense that they want you to have a great experience. Ill go back.

I just love this chain. First time was when I was in PA. The wife loves it. I got crab cakes here and they were expensive but so good. Everything I have got has been great. You spend a bit more but everyone is cool and the prepared foods are tasty. A must try.

Wegmans is an amazing experience, every week when we go shopping, we must spend 2 hours walking around and seeing all the different things there. But only after we get a chance to eat a in the cafe area and get some great slices of pizza

Having never been to a Wegmans before, it was an experience! Everything is laid out in a manner that made shopping feel like going exploring. I was able to find everything I was looking for as well as a few items I didnt realize its be able to pick up there! Every employee we encountered was very helpful, especially at the cafe. A great place, one I look forward to returning to.

1st time it was satisfying. I went to but some exotic fruits and I found them here! Such a wonderful selection. My kids and I try different foods often. We had a fun time exploring the different taste.

Best grocery store I have been to. Reminds me of Eatily in Chicago and Las Vegas. Lots of variety at fair prices with the feal of a farmers market.

This is literally the nicest grocery store I have ever been in! Great selection of seafood, meat, cheese as well as organic foods and produce. They also have an outstanding selection of wines and beer from all around the world as well as local breweries. To top it all off, they have some awesome restaurants. Their brick oven pizza is AMAZING. We routinely stop here after church to get their pizzas. You would think that with such an amazing atmosphere that this place has that you would be paying more for your groceries here, but that is surprisingly not the case and they are quite affordable! I highly recommend this place!

I never thought I would go into Wegmans because I thought they would be too expensive. Well I was soooo wrong. Now Im not going to lie, it almost killed me not to buy all the baked goods, and fresh cut fruit that ARE way too expensive, but I was really surprised at the other groceries. Wegmans brands grocieries are cheaper than Food Lions. And all the ice cream was way cheaper and not their brand.. all ice cream. I didnt really have time to walk through the whole store cause I just went in to kill some time but I will definitely be back!!!

A bit surprised that it was kinda messy. Im not used to Wegmans being so. . disheveled. Also I saw some rotten avocados, the produce section was very barren (at least the lettuce). Anyway, being back in town after living in Rochester NY for a few years its nothing like the stores in Rochester. Hopefully they catch on soon!!! Still love the food selection and ingredients of Wegmans brands. Overall Ill definitely be back.

Weagmans has to be, at least 1 of my top 3 favorite grocery stores in Virginia beach. The stores Extierior Design is sturdy and beautifully built. And as for the buildings interior design, its well managed and cleaned sufficiently.

Tons of foods to explore. If you want options this place is for you! Amazing bakery selections and hard to find foods. Store is clean and workers are friendly. The man at the lobster tank was very nice, he even took the time to show my kids the lobsters and the man at the fruit prep station was super friendly, we shared a nice conversation. Highly suggest grabbing some cannoli chips and dip if you’ve got a sweet tooth!

Plenty of parking and easy to find. Fast check out. Very nice selection of items in the Asian department. This store has Angelo Pietro Salad dressings. Great selection of items in the cheese department. They have Gouda cheese that has been aged for 18 months. Produce is fresh and well stocked. Very clean restrooms.

Weighting and printing labels for produce is a time saver at checkout. Would like to see a larger selection brand name products.

Bought raspberries here, day later they are molded. And as much as you pay at this store you would think maybe they would last a couple days. Not just one. Im not mad about $6 lost, im mad cause I buy fruit for my kids daycare and it just makes me angry as a parent .Other than expensive fruit that goes bad fast, its a good place.

Wegmans is a really good grocery store. This is the second one I have been to and each time I find shopping there pleasureable.While the prices in my opinion are a tad higher then lets say Walmart or Food Lion, they have a better selection of stuff that I am looking for and the ambience in the store is worth the extra few pennies I need to spend here and there.

Wegmans is a WONDERFUL STORE!! me and my family were on vacation from out of state, and we were not familiar with it, but we fell in love immediately. We miss the lemonade iced tea the most, it is seriously the best. Everything is well organized, the selection is incredible, I just cant say enough good things about this store. Its like a less expensive Whole Foods.

This store is huge. They have everything you could ever want from chips and drinks to prepared meals, salad bars, sandwich bars and even live lobsters. Prices are a little hight but is is definitely worth it. The even have covered parking. Absolutely the best grocery store I have ever entered. I wish there was a Wegmans in Georgia.

Decided to try Weagmans for DoorDash today. We got the spaghetti and meatballs, and Nashville hot wings. I also couldn’t help but get the cookies as well because they are amazing. Crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle.The spaghetti was underwhelming and did not look at all like the picture on DoorDash . Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t bad, it just didn’t meet expectations, but the wings.. they were good. The Nashville hot is tangy and spicy and I wish I would have gotten 10 wings and did without the spaghetti.The cookie though... the cookies are amazing, I’ve had three while writing this post! Get the cookies grab some wings and do some shopping which is on par with Whole Foods, then enjoy !

Brand new grocer conveniently located in the heart of Virginia Beach. Very clean and easy to navigate store. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Prices are very competitive and reasonable. What sets this grocer above the rest is the variety and quality of ready to eat options. Theres also a sit down area to eat. Theres a coffee, salad, and burger bar among others.

Ive found that the best way I can describe Wegmans to someone who has never been is that it can be really cheap or extremely expensive. However I will say that when it comes to selection they far surpass any other grocery store in this area. They have international food, sections for Latino or kosher, or pretty much anything you can think of. They also have a very vast selection of craft beers and wines from all over the country. Be forewarned this store can get chaotic. I personally have only really shopped in the grocery section because the beginning section, which almost resembles more of a fancy food court, has been too busy for me. There is plenty of lot parking and a parking garage on site. My only real complaint is that when things are expensive they seem extravagantly expensive. Ive included some pictures of different prices. Like Mac and cheese priced 4 for a dollar is amazing. But the shrimp cocktail for two which contained maybe 6 or 7 shrimp for $20 blew my mind. Definitely worth a trip if you havent been though. Just be prepared for the busy atmosphere!

Love this store. Great selection great customer service. What I don’t like is the interview process. Me and a friend of mine both had phone interviews and the person conducting it was apathetic, rude and impersonal. I didn’t get to move on because I couldn’t believe how rude she was and she sounded so miserable. Why doesn’t she just not do interviews if they bother her so much? She wouldn’t focus on my experiences and I literally work for instacart but my answers weren’t good enough for her so I didn’t get the job. It’s crazy that they act like they need help because the person doing the interviews just hates people.

Love this store. The produce is so fresh. We bought at the bakery and were very pleased with the variety. The meat, and packaged and butcher section is very nice. We were very happy. The store is nicely payed out. Ample parking.

Always a great place to shop. We have gone 2 days in a row and they have been out of an item. We talked to them today and they took down our name and number saying they would call us when its in.

I love Wegmans and frequently shop there 3 to 4 times a week. I went there this morning and Hanna in produce was extremely rude! There was no cut up watermelon. I saw the large container in the refrigerator and asked if I could get two large containers please. She told me no. That she needed that for fruit salad and I can come back later on this evening and get it. I said well it’s raining out and I just drove 45 minutes for this. Austin who was working with her said I have two small ones. I said no I want two large ones. She was so rude, I said I going to speak with a manager about you. She said go ahead.. Hanna was two lazy to give me something that was in arms reach. I ended up leaving the store and didn’t get anything. I won’t be shopping at Wegmans anymore. It’s a pandemic and people shouldn’t be rude

Wegmans has an excellent, varied selection of produce as well as other fresh foods like seafood. The parking is ample and even has a cart escalator for upper level. The inside of the store was clean, organized and well-stocked. Avoid the burger line, that old lady is nuts.

It was my first time shopping at Wegmans and I had a ball! Tons of fresh foods and goodies to choose from and flowers! I loved their setup and cannot wait to go back for more!

Service was friendly, store is clean, but the quality and price are out of alignment. I had a crab cake sandwich in the the Burger Bar, it was bland and not worth $12 along with fries ($3 extra), but they were hot. I could go to any number of establishments in the area and get better quality and taste for close to the price paid. I hope the burgers are not equally disappointing. On a positive note, my beer was cold, fresh, and priced appropriately compared to local bars. Overall assessment, value proposition is not there for the money. Stars are for appearance, cleanliness and service.

When I want to purchase something different or organic, Wegmans is my place to go. The prepared meals are DELICIOUS!!

Wegmans has the best selection of food. There are prepared foods, ready to eat dinners and different selections of fish, beef and chicken. I love coming here to see all the different departments and how they display their foods. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys selection.

I had never been before and loved the selections that were offered. Its a beautiful and well kept store! The isles are wide enough for shoppers and not cluttered with shippers. Im sad to learn that theres no stores located down south. Retirement will be taking us home to Mississippi before the years end. Well be back to visit.

I was very impressed with this Wegmans as it was the largest that Ive been to and newest. Store was very clean and well lit. The aisles were very wide. Great choice of products, fresh produce, and Ericson selection of meats and seafood.

Im really impressed with this store, nice layout, nearby parking garage very helpful and courteous staff. And prepared food at every turn. If you leave here hungry, its probably because you didnt have any money or a super picky eater!

The store is always well-stocked and clean, with friendly/helpful staff. I can always find the staples as well as specialty items. I particularly love the fresh produce, meats, bakery, and seafood sections. They also have a large selection of already prepared foods, which make hectic workdays much easier.

The most amazing market! We have dinner here 2x week! Great food and nice dining area in the rear with TVs and couches! Try the burger bar and the pizza rolls. They have WiFi and nice clean bathrooms as well. The desert bar is absolutely amazing. Try the raspberry cream cheese rolls! We love to get the sushi plate for $20 and it’s really good. All the food is amazing - the store is well stocked and the customer service is top notch. Don’t forget the fried chicken too!

Great selection of staples and chips, and their meat selection is incredible. Store-brand products often surpass the national brand in quality, though prices are higher throughout. Their produce is much more expensive than their competitors, though there is more focus on organic, and their deli is extremely limited. While their focus on creating a market-like atmosphere makes visiting Wegmans an event, I often find myself getting overwhelmed and overstimulated by everything going on in the store, but I can usually find unusual ingredients I cant find anywhere else at Wegmans.
