From the moment I walked in and met Drew and Nikki I felt at ease! I came in to discuss designing my engagement ring and was overwhelmed and a bit nervous. I had an idea of what I wanted, but was also unsure since I mostly own fashion jewellery. Drew spent weeks sending me different digital mock ups (videos and pictures), helped me figure out diamond sizes and went over different settings. He took my idea and created a breathtaking master piece. Walked in on a Saturday to have my rings sized and they was able to get it done the same day. Very professional and very sweet. Originally had planned to go somewhere else but the fact they had a 5.0 caught my eye and I can see why.

I had a loose diamond and melee diamonds I wanted set into a new setting, so I inquired with dozens of jewelry stores in the area. I decided to work with Raybar Fine Jewelry due to the positive vibe and professionalism I received from Drew. The first impression was superior to all of the other jewelers. Drew created a draft of my e-ring from my blurry reference photos and a CAD I had. He sent me a CAD to review before he started to create the ring. I pointed out some things I wanted to be changed, and he corrected the details better than I could have imagined. Once I received the ring, I could immediately tell it was high quality. The center stone is well-contained within the setting; the claw prongs are even and look aligned—no scratches on the bands or welding stains. No damages were noted to my diamonds, and everything was intact and pristine. The diamonds I brought in were the diamonds set on my new ring. You don’t have to worry about switcheroos here. Drew is patient and straight-forward. He pays attention to the details, and the customer service was out of this world. I receive so many compliments on my ring, and I do not hesitate to tell people that Raybar Fine Jewelry created this beauty. My fiancé and I will work with Drew again for my diamond wedding band. Updated Review: After their exceptional service the first time, I returned to Raybar and had my engagement ring, my grandmother’s wedding band, and another ring in for resizing. I arranged a time to come in online through YELP but arrived there about 30 minutes later than I had planned. But I was promptly helped and left my rings for their work. Just a few hours later all 3 of my rings (that needed additional gold) were done and looked amazing! They took such good care of my rings. I will also say that everyone I have met (receptionist and the father and son) were extremely kind to both myself and my young son. I actually had a lot of fun during my time there :) Thanks Raybar!Today I went in for a sizing up of my wedding band. I was able to immediately sit down with the jeweler, he helped me find the size I wanted it to be, and assured me it would be done the same day (on a Saturday). Within just a couple of hours I was texted that the job was done. My wedding ring fits perfectly now and I am so happy to be wearing it again! I was in need of 2 bracelets being repaired. With so many places still not open or independent persons not doing business currently, I looked online. I found Raybar and after calling and having Drew confirm they were open I headed out. I live a pretty good distance, so I was more than excited at how nicely I was treated and how efficiently. This was the first time that I used Raybar Fine Jewelry, as I was referred to them by a good friend. I must say that my experience with them was nothing short of excellent. After having a seriously frustrating and negative experience working on a custom engagement ring at another local jeweler (which took some five months), I wound up with a ring that I was pretty unhappy with, and my fiance had spent a significant amount of money on. When I first met with Drew, he provided honest and professional advice about how to go about fixing the problem with the other jeweler, before we even expressed interest in working with Raybar. Drew helped me create a completely custom three stone diamond and sapphire engagement ring that turned out beautifully, and was perfect for my wife. We took a few months to tweak my initial design concepts, settle on one, create a preliminary CAD model, refine the CAD model, find the right stones, and then cast and finish the ring. Most of the time was design and decision-making on my part. Im pretty sure Drew got tired of seeing me walk into the store every day on my lunch break... :) The actual production was pretty quick once we nailed everything down. I had a lot of fun making the ring and look forward to my next custom piece with Raybar. Also, the final price was about a third of what the blue box store wanted for a simple solitaire, and the final result was so much better. My wife loves how well ring fits her style and tastes, and loves the fact that I was so involved in its creation. I really appreciate all of Drews help!

After searching for a reputable local jeweler on Google, Im glad I decided to give Raybar a visit. Drew, one of the goldsmiths, was able to refurbish my white gold wedding ring while I waited. When he finished with it (less than 15 minutes), the ring looked better than when I first got it almost six years ago. Weve been searching for a custom wedding band for a long time now to fit my unique engagement ring (square-cut sapphire with diamonds in the band and surrounding the sapphire), and a simple gold band for my fiance at a reasonable price. Drew and the Raybar crew were more than willing to help us adjust my wedding band to fit perfectly with the engagement ring. For my fiances band, he wanted something simple, yellow-gold, and 5-6mm, but many places have overcharged even for a simple ring like this. However, Its clear Raybar understands the trade, as Drew was able to discuss sizing and pricing immediately over the phone. When we explained our long-distance planning process, he was more than willing to consult with us on what band and size would work best for my fiance, and recommend other resources and businesses of the same caliber. I came to Raybar with my wedding ring set after having an.... interesting.... experience at another jeweler. I went to the other jeweler to have my engagement ring and wedding band sized (from about an 8 to a 4) and eventually fused together. They sized my engagement ring correctly, but sized my band almost half a size too big, and told me it was needed in order to have them fused together. Of course, I went along with it because they were the professionals, after all! When I finally did get the rings fused together, and got them back, I noticed they didnt exactly line up. After I showed my husband, he said you definitely need to take it back and get it fixed. So I went back a week later, and expressed my concerns, in a polite way. I didnt come in, guns blazing, demanding to speak to the owner. But, I felt like I was treated as if I did. The guy who worked on my rings, who is also the owner, spoke to me as if I was stupid, and like I shouldve known why it looked the way it did, saying that it was because I had it sized so small (which I cant help!) and because it was just a generic ring and wasnt custom. I kept my (disgusted) thoughts to myself, and left very disappointed. Now, to Raybar! I came in, desperately hoping they had a better opinion than the first place.... and they saved the day!! After explaining the situation, they more than understood, and said theyve even had this happen before. Where people came to them to have their jewelry fixed after being poorly done at the other place. They resized and put my rings back together, and tightened all the prongs around the stones, for less than what I paid previously to just have them fused together! So from now on, I will only be taking my jewelry, and referring friends, to Raybar. Superior work, and excellent pricing! Couldnt be happier!!

I desperately needed a ring size before I go on deployment and found these guys on Google. Out of the many jewelry stores that I did call, Drew at Raybar was the most informative and didnt talk like a usual sales representative. True to his word, he did the resizing the same day I dropped it off and stuck with the original quote even though there was some additional work that was necessary because the ring had to go so small. They did some amazing custom work for our wedding rings for a fraction of the cost of what another local jeweler had quoted us. Excellent consultation, design, and work. I went here for an engagement ring. They were able to take my basic ideas and turn those into a beautiful ring. After choosing the stone they sent me a design of the final ring. All the work was done on site. Highly recommend this place for fine custom jewelry.

My husband and I went to Raybar fine jewelry to have my engagement ring appraised for our insurance company. We had such a wonderful experience! We were expecting the worst when we first handed over the ring and learned a diamond was chipped but Deborah was amazing and walked us through all the different possibilities. They cleaned the ring, tightened the prongs and turned the diamond to protect it from further damage. They even polished up my wedding bands.The whole ring inspection was done in front of us in a timely manner and any questions we had were thoroughly answered. We received the appraisal a few days later via email including a recommendation for an insurance company to use. I choose the store based on google reviews and am so happy I did. We highly recommend Raybar and will definitely be back again. The Hershey kisses offered to our daughter were also a nice touch!

Went to Raybar to get appraisals on some estate jewelry. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt like a friend, not a customer. Jerry and Drew where exceptional. I believe that they are 100% honest and care much more about lifetime customers than a quick sale. They helped me with my appraisals with knowledge and professionalism... I went to the NEX on Little Creek, to get my rings sized and rhodium dipped. They couldnt give me a price and said it would take about 3 weeks. Then Marie told me about Drew at Raybar. So I went and he is the nicest guy! He quoted my amount and said he could finish it THAT DAY! (Yes, the same day!!) it didnt even take 3 hours! And they look so BEAUTIFUL! I first stumbled across Raybar when I was new in the area and my girlfriend needed a ring repaired that had a broken band. We were on our way to a different jeweler but got stuck in traffic and werent going to make it before closing, so we ended up at Raybar because it was open later. When we walked in, Drew treated us like long time customers even though wed never met before. He fixed the ring while we waited, and for a fraction of the price we expected.When I was looking for an engagement ring, I went back to Raybar. This time Drew remembered me, so the great service was even greater. He quoted me a lower price than those big jewelry stores in the mall had, and he didnt pressure me into anything. All the other stores Id gone to tried to convince me to buy what was popular; Drew custom made the engagement ring I knew my girlfriend wanted. The ring he made was perfect. When it comes time to buy wedding rings, I wont even consider going anywhere else.

Jerry and Drew Raynor custom made my wifes engagement ring and wedding ring; lets just say my wife is in LOVE with them. My wife also bought my wedding band there which has treated me well. Every time we need our rings cleaned, or adjusted they are always there to help. If you are looking for basic watch/jewelry repair to high-end custom jewelry and everything inbetween this is the jewelry store to go to. Been meaning to write this review for a good while now, so here it is: Relatively new to the area, but not new to jewelry stores. Since I travel a lot, I like to get gems from the places I visit and have, for twenty years, had my family jeweler set them into jewelry for wife. When we moved to Virginia Beach, my wife and I went to about every local jewelry store in search of a reputable, trust worthy jeweler to take over the job of repairing and making new jewelry from scratch. We went to about 6-7 places, but came back to Raybar Fine Jewelry because not only was Drew and his Dad clearly the most talented, but because we were treated like friends more than just customers. In the last 6 months, weve had 3 custom rings made with the stones that Ive bought overseas and each ring has been a work of art. My wife loves each one and cant wait to sit down with them again and design new jewelry. If only I can speed up my travels to bring back more gemstones!

Excellent customer service, very reasonable repair pricing, and the repair/cleaning process has made my wedding band just stunning! I had lost one of the small diamonds and was very disappointed that the other jewelers had to ship it off and the replacement estimates were so high. Rabars cost was much more reasonable and the work was completed in four days. Highly recommend.

Since its our five year anniversary, we decided to have another identical band to match the other. Jerry and Drew made the PERECT match within one week from placing the deposit. Drew did a great job repairing the thin, crooked shank on my engagement ring. I did not know what to expect and was really nervous to bring my ring for repair despite all the good reviews. I am not from the area and did not know where to take my ring. I finally caved as I had really stopped even wearing my ring for fear that it would crack and I would lose it. Drew was straight to the point and told me what he would need to do to repair it and the cost. I also got it appraised while it was there and Drew told me about a jewelry insurer and sent me the link to set it all up. My ring looks amazing and I am pleased with the appraisal. Thanks Drew!

My first experience with Raybar Fine Jewelry was more than I couldve hoped for! With being new to the area, I was very nervous about finding a jeweler I could trust with a repair on my engagement ring and a gold chain. I took the advice of fellow Google reviewers and brought my items to Drew at Raybars. He was very pleasant, professional, and speedy! My items were fixed and ready for pick up on the same day and looked beyond beautiful with the polish treatment they received. The price of the repairs were half of what I was ready to pay. Absolutely an amazing experience! My wife and I will be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary in June and for years we havent wore our wedding bands due to their condition. Both were broken and bent from years of wearing. We were hesitant to let anyone work on them because of their sentimental value. The bands were originally made from a ring that was given to us by my wifes mom. Drew was able to completely rejuvenate their appearance and fix all of the defects they had. They look and feel even better that the originals. Drew even gave us pictures of the entire process which include melting them down and adding more gold. I recently went into Raybar Jewelry with a couple rings that I didnt have paperwork for and without a lot of knowledge of diamonds or jewelry. Without hesitation Drew provided me a crash-course on engagement rings, stones, and wholesalers, as well as measurements of my rings and ball-park estimates for what the rings would be worth at both appraisal or consignment value. At no point was his time or information predicated on using him as a jeweler and he informed me of multiple directions I could go in to purchasing an engagement ring. His service was impeccable as was the time he devoted to my questions.

After losing over 150 pounds my wedding set was far too large. I sadly was wearing a costume piece and was really wanting to be back into my own rings. After a few weeks of searching at many jewelry stores and pricing sizing all three bands, buying a new set, designing something different I was discouraged with all my options UNTIL I met Drew.I explained my situation, presented my rings plus an extra heirloom diamond I wanted to add and he came up with an amazing design that incorporated 90% of my original wedding set diamonds plus my grandmothers diamond and then designed it to also fit perfectly with my 10 year anniversary band that I did not want changed at all.The process was amazingly smooth and I was completely informed throughout. From design, to casting, to final product. I also had a desire to have my new ring before a trip for our anniversary and Drew made it happen!!!!If I could give this business 10 stars I would. True craftsmanship in a small family business with an attention to detail and their customers needs and dreams !Bravo !
