La La Land Sugar Candy Kingdom store is like a candy super store. This place offers a wide variety of all sorts of candy. Great staff, awesome atmosphere and this store was clean.

Dear diary, today was a great day at the beach. We had a lot of fun- but it was day two of not being able to find my daughter cotton candy. Tonight we went down the strip to look for some cotton candy and we stumbled upon La La Land Sugar Candy Kingdom. When we walked up they had just closed: doors were locked, lights were already off and the lady was cashing out her register. I knocked on the window and showed her our four-year-old daughter and told her I’ve been trying to get her cotton candy for two days and she was nice enough to help. She went out of her way to let us in, quickly get the goods (pictured- cherry cotton candy, they had other flavors as well!) She also gave us a little gift bags with pink balloons. This is definitely a place you to check out and support. Today was a great day and finished off even better with my daughter happy all thanks to the kindness of a stranger.

Store nice and stocked. Layed out well. Only one employee working. Customers lined up out the door. Wait to check out long. Felt sorry for the employee.

Super nice lady that works at this spot. Very welcoming environment and a very clean kept store. Great selection of candies and fudge although the fudge seem to be a bit running for my taste.

Small business need to recognize that people matter. Without us coming and buying your business will not survive. The situation that occured an witness was atrocious. Either the manager or personnel need to re-engage customer service and respect 101. My family and friends will never shop here again. Whether we are visiting the great state on Virginia or the beach. That managers behavior will not go unnotice. Disrespect to customers will never be tolerated.

What an amazing candy store! I visited shortly after it opened and was amazed with the wide variety of candy as well as the selection of donuts and other pastries and sodas. The interior is also very nice and has a great colorful design!

This place is awful .. It was dirty and a mess.. Shelves had bearly anything on them . the employees were basically wearing pajamas . sweatpants and hoodies . products were also expired as of March of 2020. The candy we did buy was also very much old ... Very disappointed 😞 pics on google are very deceiving they are nothing like the actual store

Visited with my 6 yo granddaughter for the first time. We Will be back! The store was so colorful, clean and had everything you could want! Sandy, the store manager, was awesome!

....it was just ok. I really just loved the colorful array of various candies and toys., but after seeing ill-mannered children digging in most of the candy bins with their bare hands, that pretty much ruined the experience for me as I knew Id be leaving without buying anything.Yes. I did inform an employee....actions were taken etc but I cant unsee it.

Overall slow experience. There was only one person at the register and she proceeded to flirt with my boyfriend right in front of me. Also the gay bacon strip candy is awful and is a waste of space. 3/10 experience, would not go to willingly, but the place is magical.

All the candy you ever want at va beach

Pretty eclectic store with a large variety of candies. From hard candies, gummies, chocolates, packaged sweets, sodas, and a generous selection of fudge flavors, theres something here for everyone. You can buy toys and novelties here as well. The employees are friendly, and the store is clean and very aesthetic. Prices are a little high, but thats to be expected at an oceanfront shop.

The lady there was amazing.

I had hard time getting employee to wait on me. Finally I asked about candies on top clearly marked 4.99 a pound but I wanted to be sure. My daughter had picked out what she wanted I said I wanted 2 pounds. She only put 2 pieces in box. .24 of pound and charged me 39.99 per pound! RIP off!

Pay attention to your receipts..... Thats all Ill say.

Even as someone who doesnt love candy, this store is a treat. You feel like you walked in to a magical world thats larger than life with fun surprises every where you turn. No matter what kind of candies or sweets you enjoy, youll find something you like.The employees are friendly and fun but not intrusive, allowing you to browse as long as you like.The store is brightly lit, bursting with colour and invites you to smile and be a kid for a minute again.

Visited last night and had a awesome time! Awesome place to get ice cream and VERY VERY friendly. Cool place and ALL kinds of candy to choose from. Definitely going back.

A little pricey but they had a great selection of candy. They had classics and new favorites, there is something for everyone here. They also have prepackaged candy for a set price, many of them are in adorable containers(unicorns, butterflies, purses, and more). I stocked up on some (too many) treats. Nothing tasted stale or old. Ill be back again soon :)

If I could give them no stars I would. I walked into the store and it was a friendly environment with lots of options, upo ln checking out the cashier told me my total came to $ 55.48 for 3 things. I asked how and she said the salt water taffy and candy I purchased was $3.49 a pound. After paying I looked at my reciept and noticed a charge for $16.75 for 1.2 lbs of candy. I immediately turned around and walked back in and asked the cashier to explain it to me because i thought i had missed something. She asked me if I ate something or took it my vehicle at which point i told her NO!, its impossible to be missing that much candy!. She then went and got the other cashier who checked my bag and asked the same qiestion. The cashier Lola then went and got the manager and explained to her what she thinks happened and the manager checked my bag and then had the audacity to try and accuse me of stealing 1.2 lbs of candy. The cashier leaned on the scale prior to scanning and weight my items which would have resulted in the 1.2 lb charge. The manager did not want to give me my money back for something I NEVER purchased. The manager was rude and despite the fact that they had cameras and they could have seen what I purchased, the manager tried to take the cashiers word over mine. Theyre over-priced and there employees are always right.Moral of it CHECK YOUR RECIEPT BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE

Fun theme, clean store, friendly associates. Great giftable novelties. Choose candies wisely; Jelly beans are not Jelly Belly brand. Favor was poor, and not fresh.

La La Land was great. This candy store has everything from plush animals, rock candy, Jelly Belly Jellybeans, and so much more. They even offer older candies such and Beechnut and Black Jack gum. This is located right on the Virginia Beach strip.

Personally, I’m always looking for truly salty (or tangy for the fruit flavors) and fresh saltwater taffy, and this place has it! Favorite saltwater taffy anywhere. Worth every tourist trap-overpriced penny! Fun shop for the kids to wander and enjoy, too.

So many choices of candy

Lets start with the Salt water taffy. I dont know if it is what the taffy is wrapped in, or the recipe but it is impossible to remove it from the wrapper without leaving half of it on the paper. This product doesnt taste like any Saltwater Taffy I have ever eaten.The Fudge was the same taste and quality we get at our local .Wall~Mart in Bristol Virginia, at 4 times the price.The Milk chocolate Hazelnut ended up being Dark Chocolate with very little nuts.We were very unsatisfied with the Cost and the quality .

The stars are for the candy only. The candy is good but very expensive. They didn’t have weight tables to weigh your own and at $3.68 per 1/4 pound it got pricey. I thought it was &3.68 a pound and when I got it all in bags mixed together and paid it was $54. I wouldn’t have got what I did if I had known candy from dollar tree would’ve been fine for a $1 smh. Never again. The staff never spoke when we entered the store and when asked a question we got rushed away.

I’ve been to many candy stores and of course higher pricing is always a bummer but it’s not uncommon in any of the candy stores especially at Myrtle Beach. The only difference is LALA land EASILY has items i’d spend money on. They keep it old school unlike many commercial sweet shops. The ice cream is amazing and affordable and customer service is superb. Loved the atmosphere enough to stop by more than once on my vacation. 10/10 would recommend

Rude staff. The asian lady (im guessing the owner or manager) kept giving me and my family a dirty eye and she kept sending one of the associates over to watch us like we were stealing or something. Very rude and cold. I told my kids to put everything back because I refuse to spend money in an establishment that treats people like that. I will never come back.
