Being retired Navy I wanted to see if any of the mattress places could meet the price we get plus have it in stock (exchange only had the mattress in stock not the adjustable base). Spoke to Darnell and he helped us out. He got authorization to meet the exchange price on a Temper-Pedic mattress and the upgraded adjustable base. Great experience all around and I don’t have to wait on the base to come in for the exchange.

I needed a mattress for my guest bedroom. I went into the store to look around and compare mattress plus price. Darnell greeted me at the door and showed me the different mattress they had in stock. He told me the different between each of the mattresses. I went home and thought about my visit and the customer service I received so I decided to go back the next day and make my purchase. I shopped around four different places, the mattress were all comparable in price but the difference was the service. The store associates were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we did not have the best experience with delivery - our Posturepedic mattress was damaged & one of our pillows (that we waited 5 months for) was torn. Moreover, the delivery guys damaged our wall when getting the adjustable base upstairs. I expected a bit better for the amount we spent on this bed! In all fairness, Mattress Firm did refund our pillows and gave us a $400 credit for the mattress/wall damage, but I had to ask for it.

Darnel at Mattress Firm Redmill Commons (Virginia Beach) is one of the best customer service examples I have ever run across. Truly attentive, caring, and not at all high pressure! When my parents’ incredibly easy, affordable and positive sale was so easily concluded, I thanked him for being so fantastic. With a warm and genuine smile, he replied that it was nothing special- “I have parents too.” What a great side of the bed to wake up on! Thank you Redmill Mattress Firm!

As soon as walked into Mattress Firm, we were greeted by a friendly staff member (Jennifer). We didnt know what type of mattress we wanted to buy, but Jennifer was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in describing the benefits of each mattress. She was patient as we tried - and retried- various mattresses, always answering questions and never being pushy. She helped us stay within budget and purchase a mattress we absolutely LOVE! We purchased during the Memorial Day sale so we bought a king for the price of a queen and received a free adjustable base- it was an awesome deal! Another perk - Mattress Firm partners with a program that the Foster Kids program and because May is Foster Care Month, 5% of our purchase went to support their Foster Kids foundation. A knowledgeable employee, a great deal, and helping foster kids? Cant beat that combo! Would definitely shop here again.
