We did an express blow out for my 9 year old- so for 6 weeks she will have more manageable hair. Cassidy was wonderful with her- explaining everything, making jokes, and even providing time for stretching - due to hair length and thickness it took about 4 hours. Didnt matter though bc her hair came out amazing!

Amber! This girl knows her stuff, I came in today not knowing what I really wanted other then a more natural blonde after years of silver and damage. My service was for a trim on my seriously long hair and she did a great job, I am completely satisfied. The studio was clean and the prices are more than fair. Took my 8 yr old son in for a haircut. Showed pictures of the cut I wanted and she didnt cut it ANYTHING like I asked for. Had to have her cut it twice and my son still left there looking like he had a mushroom for a head. We are new to the Red Mill area and I was looking for a new barber for him so I didnt have to drive 30 minutes from home but lesson learned. The woman was rude when I told her I wasnt happy with the cut which really infuriated me. When I told her it wasnt what I wanted for the second time she said it was because i wasnt standing by him. THAT WOULD BE BECAUSE OF SOCIAL DISTANCING OR I WOULD HAVE!! The owner or manager was there. He did offer to fix my sons hair but by then it was too late. These young girls with their fresh out of school skills are not all that they think they are. She needs to learn some professionalism and not let her feelings get so hurt when someone doesnt like the job she did. Learn to really listen to the client. (Client =mother paying for the cut!) Im sorry but I will not be going back. I will find another local business to support with a more professional staff. The salon was clean and otherwise nice with a friendly staff, except the girl I dealt with. I dont know her name because she never introduced herself to me but she had a cute boy cut and I thought we were on the same page with the style I wanted for my son. 🙄🤔😡

Received a wash and haircut. Simple-ish cut with a trim on the undercut. Clean lines and did not enlarge the undercut. Welcoming and clean environment taking appropriate precautions

We are new to the area so I was on the hunt for a salon close by. I always passed by this salon and also saw fliers in the mail. I decided to give it try since it was conveniently located close to home. I went on the website and saw that I could setup my appointment online so I went ahead and set it up. Super easy! I got there in time and checked in. I met my stylist immediately and talked to her about what I was looking for and shared pictures. I got highlights done and a cut. The color turned out exactly what I wanted and also the cut. I’m so glad I found a new close to home salon to go to now!! If you are undecided about who to see my stylist, Cassidy was awesome!!! I highly recommend her and she gives the best head massages while washing your hair leaving me relaxed and needing a nap!!

I booked pretty much last minute for a wedding updo. The place was clean and super cool. Justin was incredible! Every strand of hair he touched was methodically placed. If we lived in the area he would be my new guy for sure. Loved every moment and I’m glad he was a part of my big day.

I live out of town and have received services from Bishops twice while in the Virginia Beach area. I was pleased with my cut/trim and style earlier in the year with Tim and with my Deep Conditioning treatment and style recently with Sean. Both listened to my hair concerns and preferences and ensured that I was fully aware and in agreement with the steps being taken. I recommend you give Bishops an opportunity - see what they can do which just may be more becoming to you!

Tony was amazing. He takes his time and cuts with precision & perfection. My son’s hair is very hard to blend because it’s very straight. This was his second cut with him and it was just as good as the first time.

I asked for an under cut.I got one but it is extremely noticeably uneven. So embarrassing to wear my hair up now.Afraid to go back, dont want it as high as it is on one side.I couldnt see it thru the hand mirror he gave me to look at it. But my teen kids say its awful .Sean who cut my hair said he was tired and had a long day and I had to wait 15 minutes past my appointment time because he was taking pictures with a model he just did. I was 15 min early but turned into a 30 min wait.If ya go, make it earlier in the day so they arent tired....

Also, they must regulate the air circulation - to protect against the possibility of accidentally spread contaminants - so dress appropriately for a closed air environment.If we do what we can, Bishops will be able to stay open and serve us safely.
