Bruce and his crew repainted and changed the color for me on a 1969 Plymouth Fury. It was pale yellow. I delivered it with all trim off the car. The painted every detail and took their time. I WAS DELIGHTED with the end product. Car was metallic blue. After getting the trim back on the car it really popped and turns heads everywhere I take it. This is the third vehicle this place has done for me. This time they out did the past two. SUPER JOB. See you guys on my next project

Not bad. I did most of the prep work before i dropped it off. I took off the molding, front bumper, tail lights and head lights and i did majority of the bodywork and priming. before i gave it to them. All they had to do is clean it down to get rid of the oils and contaminates then spray it. They did a good job for the price but we have found alot of imperfections on the driver side. We still have to bring it back to get that fixed. Other than that it looks fine.Update of 7/16/2019We returned the car to get the imperfections fixed. No hesitation to do the warranty they represent. They fixed all the imperfections properly. My prior 3 star review is now up to 4 stars. Only issue we found was a wet driver side floor board when we picked it up. Car has no prior issue of the floor being wet but there is no way to point fingers about it. Other than that body and paint work is good and the price.

The staff at this location are second to none. Kim walked me through the process and pointed out things on my Jeep I didn’t even notice. I am very pleased with the work and overall appearance of my Jeep after it was painted. They did a great job on my 2007 Toyota Tundra. Factory paint started cracking and peeling. They did great prep work, fixed all the dings and dents. Paint looks fantastic. Very reasonable price. Friendly staff. I would highly recommend this group.

I had my sons 2001 Honda Accord painted at the Maaco on Harpers road in Va Beach. They had the car for about a week and a half. I was very happy with the results when I picked the vehicle up! I will definitely be going back there to get my youngest sons vehicle painted in the near future.

Took my car to the Maaco off Harpers Rd. To get my 1st ever paint Job. The process from beginning to end went smoothly. To getting a quote and them informing me of the best paint, effects of certain paints and deals/promotions they had at the time. The paint Guy ( Barry ) even cane out to talk paint with me and gave me ideas on how to personalize the paint to fit my color scheme. The Body person walked me thru some parts i was adding and how he would secure it and let me have the final decision before he started. Was kept up to date during the process which made me feel like part of the team. The End Result i couldn’t be more happy with the work they did, they turned my car into a head turner/eye candy and i can’t thank that crew enough on a Excellent Job. Definitely made my 1st paint job 1 to remember.

I wanted to wait a few weeks to do this review because that is when the said the paint would be hardened. All I want to is, They did excellent work on matching the color and getting rid of all the rust I had on my roof of my truck. And it still looks like great. If you had any problems or question, they will address them immediately or have you bring you vehicle in for an appointment and discuss what do be done to fix any issues you may have. I cannot thank them enough for doing a great job on my truck! 5 stars and great people and great service too!

My Mazda CX-9 has a flaw in the cupholder. If you have anything on top of the cover, it can slide down and behind the cupholder when it opens. This happened to me this morning when my keys (house and car) became hopelessly lost. No matter what I did, I could not get the key out. After calling my local Mazda dealer and getting an outrageous quote to get the key, I thought I would try the Maaco down the street.Not only did they take care of me right away, they also charged me 1/3 of what the Mazda dealership quoted me on the phone. Kimberly Scott who I thought was the receptionist, but apparently is the Lead Estimator/Boss, was incredibly kind and helpful and Jimmy was a wonder and took care of the issue in record time. He even cleaned the mess under the cup holder, which Im sure was gross.Thank you so much, Maaco, for being a good neighbor, being kind and turning around what was becoming a very stressful day!!

I was recommended to come to this place my friend. I had ran into a gate with a car Id only had two months. And I must say I was expecting a good job but they surpassed my expectations. My car is super black and had a beautiful paint job on it already and I was concerned if you would be able to tell where the accident was. They had to tell me which side the accident was on because I could not tell. I think they buff the whole car out because only one section was damaged but the whole car just look so beautiful. The next day I was at a self cleaning car wash and the man next to me pulled up and told me how beautiful my car was. Go to these people very informative and they really do care about your car and take it as seriously as you do.

They did a great job on my 2005 Yukon! They had to cut off the old rocker panels due to rust, replace them and repaint the entire truck. So happy with how it turned out!

I received wonderful service and great work on my 2005 Nissan Altima. The clear coat on the roof, hood and trunk was faded so I had my vehicle painted. When I picked up the vehicle, they let me know to inspect and call them with any issues. I did find some minor issues. When I called them and let them know, they told me no problem and they would fix everything. I took the vehicle back in and they fixed everything and had the vehicle back to me in two days. I couldnt be more pleased with the work. The entire staff was very friendly and helped me every step of the way. Highly recommend this business!! Thank you!!

Kim was so helpful in coordinating repairs on our car. Not only did they repair our car and do great work the owner noticed we were having a problem with our locks. Wed been having problems for months. He pointed out that these locks were on recall. They ordered the part for us and it was only $13! We LOVE this MAACO store!!!

I rarely write reviews but thought I needed to write a review on the poor quality of work performed by Maaco on Harpers Rd when they repaired my car. I took my car in after an accident where I didnt have collision insurance. The estimate from was for the car to be back to me in ~14 days. Two months later when the car was returned to me the quality of the repair work was absolutely terrible. The engine cover/guard under the car was hanging down an attached using zip ties, the wheel well skirt was not attached properly causing rubbing against the tire. There was a vibration and squeaking noise as I drove out of the Maaco parking lot. All of this should have been caught if there was proper QA at the site. The vibration was an engine mount that was broken which I had to pay a different business to repair (extra $$$). Even after the mount was replaced, there was still a squeaking noise and the car pulled slightly to the left driving 65 mph. Only after I had replaced a strut (more $$) trying to solve the squeaking problem and then rotated the tires was I able to look at the work completed by Maaco with the front left tire off the car and found the subframe not properly attached to the suspension (note Im not a professional mech - it was obvious as to what the problem was) . Only after taking my car back to Maaco for the 3rd time with problems did the squeaking and pull to the left stop. I like the owner and the desk coordinator, and in all honesty, they did work to keep their cost close to what the original estimate was(I had to pay ~3k to other businesses though), But they really need to work on the quality of their product/service. It could be that I had the worst technician at the shop. That said, even today the bumper isnt properly mounted around the driving lights which I intend to take to a different auto body repair shop to adjust because I simply dont want to go back to Maaco (more $$). I cannot recommend this repair facility in good conscience to anyone...period.

I had my Jeep Commander painted at the harpers road Maaco and I was truly at a loss for words...It looks like a show car. On a scale of 1-10 I give Maaco and the professional crew a 20!!

I had an accident and a friend referred to Harpers Rd. Maaco. Im from GA. and I needed to get back soon they had the repairs done in 2 days. Outstanding craftsmanship.

Just recently used their service. The owner Bruce B. Windish was unprofessional. He was very rude to me and kicked me out because he did not want to hear about the left over dent that was missed. I was out for training in California and my wife had to take the vehicle for full body paint and I told Bruce a week before during the estimate walk through. I specifically told him that I wanted two separate quotes. One with just full body paint and one wilth full body and fixing all the dents. Eventually I came to the conclusion to get both full body paint and dents. When I came back from my training I discovered that there were still discrepancies and brought back to the shop and brought it Bruces attention, he did not even check those dents and was not having any of it. He just didnt want to listen to me and was rude and uncooperative. Even though I had plan on using them again as a repeat customer to fix the dent on my truck . Now, with this poor experience and one star customer service, i dont think that will be happening anymore. Do not use this facility, because at first they will pretend that theyre there to help you out but as soon as you pay them they no longer want to deal with you. Its unfortunate that this MAACO is near a Navy installation, you would think that theyd support the troops especially with the high tempo schedule that we got. Bruce is not a human being and clearly do not support service men and women. Troops stay away from this place, go elsewhere to avoid this headache. This is Senior Chief speaking, (NAS Oceana).
