I always go to Grand Mart when I crave a variety of fresh caught fish. I get about four different types. The butcher butterflies, filet, and take the heads off within a few minutes. This store carries everything you need if you’re from across the pond. They stay open late which is so convenient. I gave four stars because I feel they could carry some AA skin and hair products. I have fun looking at all the seasonings. I love the sake.

Every time I come here I always find something new that I like they have about every kind of fruit vegetable bread or meat that you could possibly think of multicultural. They also have cookware plates chopsticks even brooms sake plum wine stuff for making sushi a fish market with fresh fish ( dont forget to tip the people that cut your fish ) everything has a price tag that is visible so you can plan what youre going to get and you have a general idea of how much its going to cost. I havent been here in quite a while but whenever I get the time Im probably going to make the drive back down there it is well worth the gas and by what I could tell on Sundays a lot of people love this place. Hopefully this helps with anybody wondering what this place is like, and if you dont know what youre going to get I would still suggest just hopping in and looking around.

I enjoyed my first time visit from DE! They were fully stocked, reasonable prices and really appreciate the variety of international foods. Will try to visit everytime I visit VA Beach.

I love Grand Mart. When I moved to the area the first thing I did was to look up Asian Markets...and then a friend recommended this place. I have not been disappointed. There is a huge selection of produce, meat, and seafood. Various Asian staples occupy the store. There is even a little restaurant. Honestly my only complaint is that in the Indian section I cannot find garam masala, and honestly it is probably just me missing it. If you live in the area, or are visiting you need to check this place out.

We are more accustomed to HMart but this place is very close. We were able to find almost everything we needed. The supply/delivery shortage was evident. It is kinda all over the place not very neat or organized. We will be back.

If youre looking for Asian goods in many varieties, this place is pretty decent. Not very clean but definitely works in a pinch.

Always a great place to buy oriental goods lots of seafood your heart desires they got meat any meat you want. When you go there give yourself time cause its like a candy store. You gonna wanna buy everything you miss back in the Island if your an Islander gal/guy. Not bad for the prices neither 👍🇸🇽🇵🇷

Im happy for the convenience of buying items that are rare to find. But the pork belly slices for 20 dollars a pack need to be sliced correctly. I through out one of the slices because it was non edible. Im a great cook so I know what Im looking for. Buyer beware.

BUT WHEN YOU GO TO THE WET SECTION SIDE AREA OR THE SEAFOOD AREA ALL OF THE STAFF HANDLES YOUR FISH AND SEAFOOD PRODUCTS THEY NEED SOME TRAINING ON HOW TO HANDLE CUSTOMERS!! NO RESPECT AND PROPER MANNERS IN CALLING CUSTOMERS AND PRIORITIZING WHOSE NEXT ETC! Absolutely a terrible experience! We pay you our money we deserve some good service!!!

Knives were freely out for display, meat department did not pick up the phone (shoutout to our cashier making jokes), and sake selection was good. 12/10 will go again.All jokes aside, they do have a great selection of international food if you have no way of getting your items in the states.Legend says the meat department still hasn’t picked up the phone.

Grand Mart, in my opinion, is the best Asian store in the area.They have a large selection of everything they carry, and an impressive frozen section. They have pretty nice produce and seafood sections as well.Along with many different choices, they have food from multiple nations/areas.They also have an extensive collection of cookware and kitchenware, from gas grills to chop sticks.The only downside I have found, is that the prices on some things are higher than you can find elsewhere, especially the more American items.Depending on what youre after, it may be a good idea to shop around for pricing, but thats true of everywhere.Definitely pop in and look around, you wont find quite the selection anywhere else.

Has a good solid selection of Korean, latin american, and other international options. A fun diversity of selections to satisfy ones desire to explore. I found some new items I havent seen before!I could use a bit more Korean options but can understand that expanding to greater taste is probably more sustainable for the neighborhood.

This was my first time in the store. I was surprised by the variety of items they sell. Their meat and seafood looked fresh. Their variety of fruits and veggies is amazing. I will visit again. I think some of their prices are a bit inflated and thats the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.

The different amount of authentic foods has never been so much fun to shop for. Love the very fresh seafood and produce. The prices are pretty reasonable as well.

If you need a store to go to for international ingredients and foods, this is my favorite. My wife and I enjoy cooking and meals from recipes all over the world, this is one of the few places we can count on. Mostly clean, a few gnats and flies. The fish come with or without heads. Only down side is the small number of checkout lanes.

Yesterday was my first visit. I had seafood on my mind and normally I go to my usual spot. I walked into this establishment and fell in love with all. I purchased Mussels, shrimp, large sea scallops (all large quantities). I also came across different flavors of old bay seasoning that I know Ill enjoy. On my next visit Im leaving with frog legs and shark. This place is everything to a chef.

Ive been here several times and always find what Im looking for! A lot of the products are catered to foreign cuisine, but there is plenty for standard shoppers, too. Theres a large variety of fresh seafood and meats. Dishware and alcohol is available here, too. Chances are if youre looking for it, you can find it here.

Yes, were talking foods and home goods from around the world. The produce section stays well stocked and frequently tended to. And thanks for using nearly all the cash registers during peak shopping hours. And in the seafood section, you will find a vast selection of fresh and frozen items, along with a restaurant within the store that serves lots of dishes.

I absolutely love this store. Some of the best ramen noodles Ive had in my life. Sure they have some standard American food items, but honestly if I wanted those I would have gone to Walmart or Food Lion. I love love love the foreign foods and will keep coming back for more.

Went today, first time in any store since March, 2020! After I read some of the reviews, I was not expecting a great experience, I just had to shop for what I needed and get out. And what a surprise! From the second I walked in, everyone I approached was friendly and helpful...especially Sheila who brought me to the aisles I needed and about each item and then to checkout Liz! Thanks gals, will be back weekly.

Great selection of diverse nationality ingredients for various ethnic cuisines. Unfortunately, even though I had a face shield on, one of the employees came up to me and said you have to have a face mask on. I am fully VACCINATED and I have asthma. Screw a stifling face mask. Ridiculous. Instruct your employees better

If you, want a variety of different international food this the place to go. They have a restaurant for takeout in the back I get the fish COD soup its great! I also get there kimchi from here they sell it in containers next to the restaurant in the back.

The store is much cleaner and organized than before! They definitely have lots of Asian food ingredients and much more!! Sometimes you need to carefully check their fruits, veggies like jalapeño pepper, and meats because of the freshness! Thats my only complaint. This is the most big Asian food market around here! You can pretty much find everything that you were looking for! :)

I dont know why this has such a low rating. It has great prices and Ive even seen items in bulk (ramen noodle bowls) that cost twice as much anywhere else. The only reason my rating isnt full stars is because of the cleanliness. The whole place needs a weekend of deep cleaning. Other than that its a great place to find international goodies. Please rate responsibly!EDIT: Im so glad that after almost a year has past this store is finally at a decent rating! And they have improved the fishy funky smell since Covid-19 hit us. So now it gets a 5 stars from me, I love this place!!

Price is ok but the veggies are not to fresh. The breakfast soy power mix is out of dates. They may need to work harder to learn how to control the food handling.

Be prepared to wait in check out, as the lines get backed up. The prices are okay, not the cheapest, nor expensive. The crabs were good but pricey. The shrimp were priced decently and very good. Overall, a good place to go with fresh food and a variety of items not found in other stores.
