Getting prescriptions for my mom the last couple of weeks after an accident and wondering how this Walgreens location has even 1.9 stars. It’s not just me… While I am waiting for them to resolve their incompetence, I hear countless stories from their customers. This leaves me to wonder if they can get just one transaction correct. Zero for me so far – how did they get to be such a large chain?

I was going to share my story of disappointment, lies, and incompetence but after reading the other reviews I don’t feel like I have to. I think it’s time to move prescriptions to another pharmacy this one is neither convenient or reliable or competent. It’s a shame because this one use to rock and I moved all my family’s prescriptions here because they were awesome. I don’t know what has happened but it really has gone down hill so fast.

Only giving one star because you have to at least put 1 star. Absolute horrible customer service. Called to check on status of prescription that was sent in before 5 am. Was told at 10 am that it would be another 2 to 3 hours. I told Amy that answered phone that I could not wait that long my daughter was very sick and could not hold anything down. Amy decides its best to hang up on a customer not even letting me finish talking. Call back to speak with a store manager and the store manager decides that she is going have the same attitude. I WILL BE CONTACTING CORPORATE!!!!

The people running the pharmacy are awful. they are all rude, and so unorganized. getting vaccinated took hours WITH an appointment. while i waited i observed many instances of the workers being rude to customers, unprovoked, and deleting prescriptions without customers consent. it was seriously crazy, ive never ever seen anything so awful. they all need to be fired or retrained! seriously.

If there was a way to give this play -5 stars, I would. Had approximately 5-6 mediocre interactions with 20-ish minutes of wait time. fine. I was told my prescription (which I cannot have a lapse in) would be ready this past Friday morning. On Sunday, I waited on hold for 2 hours and 12 minutes and my call was never answered, waited in line for 45 minutes to be told my medication was not ready. I was able to receive 2 of my 30 pills. Today, I waited on hold for 45 minutes and 30 minutes then had to hang up due to work trying to get the rest of my medication before it runs out tomorrow. Ive called corporate 3 times and they have been unable to help.Ive used Walgreens for 10+ years now and am beyond fed up with it after this mentally and emotionally exhausting experience.Long story not short, literally use any other pharmacy than this one.

Prescriptions never ready. Wait in a long line in or outside only to hear the order isnt ready it will be ready in 30 minutes or longer. The staff looks at you as if you just better wait or go somewhere else.Soooooo sick of this particular Walgreens location.

I came to family in Villa Rica as a refugee following hurricane Ida. I was unable to get my prescription before I left so my doc called one in here for me. HOURS later and its still not entered into the system and its impossible to get someone on the phone. Then I read all these reviews. Wish I had done that first!

Waited at the drive thru window a full 10 minutes before being acknowledged. There was no line inside or outside. When I left there was a line. This is the most unprofessional Walgreens on the planet

Most drive thru pharmacys are not good but this one is terrible. Window lines inside and out are always very long and slow. The workers in the pharmacy are slow, uncaring and not professional. Knowone seems to be in charge. Also nobody from corporate reads these reviews because there are so many and nothing has changed.

This pharmacy needs new management and employees. The staff will not help anyone. This is hands down the worst pharmacy I have ever used in my life. It takes 30 minutes to get to the window (with only one car in front of you) then when you pull up the pharmacists will just walk by the window and not acknowledge you’ve been sitting there for nearly an hour.I mean seriously, this is pathetic.

If your planning on dropping of a fed ex package, done expect a receipt. The dont provide. They will tell you feed ex will text you. Call FedEx asking for one and theyll tell you they dont know why Walgreens didnt give a copy. Maybe its because fed ex DOESNT have a printer there. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE... Worst part is, neither Walgreens or fed ex cares. They got there package and made the money. Will NEVER use fed ex and Walgreens again

If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service at the pharmacy is horrible. The lady who rings you up is beyond rude. The pharmacist must be fresh out of school because she knows nothing about federal laws when it comes to narcotics. My doctor called 4 times to clarify a issue they created, they hung up on her twice and placed her on hold twice. A DOCTOR. If you can choose any other place I would strongly advise not to waste your time.

Last time I went to this pharmacy was before I joined the Navy back in 2010 and the pharmacy had disgustingly rude staff and extreme wait times.. Came back in 2021 and lo and behold nothing has changed. Tried for 2 hours to call the pharmacy for a simple question after and injury and when I went to the VR walgreens staff was rude and I waited over and hour. Dont waste your time and money.

I never complain or leave bad review, this one was earned SEVERAL TIMES IN ONE DAY.The store is okay, but please NEVER try to fill a prescription here.They WILL lie to your face and say they have it ready and then LIE AGAIN in the same day by telling you it will be another 45 min or more.We dropped the order off around 12:30, they said it would be ready by 3:30, we came back and they told us it would be 2 hours at the window.I CALLED AHEAD to ask if it was ready around 5:30 and they said it would be ready in 10 minutes.I get to the front of the line finally and they said it would be ANOTHER FORTY-FIVE MINUTES.F**k this location. Please dont come here for medicine.

I went in Walgreens at 9:58;.. stressing how I had just called and I got 2 min, they close at 10pm. When I got in the store they said you got 1 min but treated me like I had 5; the lady helped me find what I needed and talked to me about suggestions. I have always dealt with Walgreens mainly for my pictures.. I just had to say how this one, went the extra mile that night.. thank you

I went to get my meds on November 25th I picked them up and paid for them .I should have had another prescription to go with it they said it wasnt ready so I told them I could comeback the weekend to pick that one up .and they verified it and told when it would be ready .go and pick it up and they say it cant be filled its to early but it wasnt I had already called and made sure it was ready was told it was .get there and they tell me it cant be filled because it was filled on the 25th and showed picked up . But was not picked up . That was when the lady put it in the system. So I go to my prescription profile and shows last pickup was October 26th 2020 . But still showed 3 different times in the system. So I show them and they say oh must be a glitch in our computer but cant pick up due to insurance. I called insurance they said I was able to get my meds now. Even told the pharmacy the same thing..so they still didnt let me get my med unless I pay cash price of 400.00 and I have insurance that cover it . So I leave because they plainly dont know what they are doing . So I get home and look at my profile again and showed that I picked up the medicine today but I didnt and showed 11.99 with insurance. This med cost me 2.00 with insurance. And I didnt even get my medication. Because I couldnt pay 400.00 and they didnt offer me a 11.99 price.

I wish I could give less than 1 star! The service at this location is horrible. The staff is incompetent. Angie is one of the pharmacy technicians there and she cannot operate the computer system. After over an hour of watching her attempt to use a computer, another technician showed mercy for me and came to help her out. Angie was rude, unable to perform her job, and doesnt deserve to be working there! Ive had multiple occasions where I spent over 30 minutes on hold waiting for someone to pick up the phone. Absolutely unacceptable levels of poor customer service at this location. Its a shame because Im a long time Walgreens customer and other locations are fine. This one, however, is a hot mess! Avoid this location if at all possible. Save your time and drive to another location!

This pharmacy is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. Every. Single. Time. a doctors office calls in a prescription for my elderly Mother, the pharmacy calls that evening (after Dr office business hours) saying that the prescription order was not complete by the Drs office so they cant fill it. Once, maybe twice? But every single time? Not only that but we have also had issues of going all the way to Villa Rica to pick up a prescription only to be told they dont have it in stock. The only reason we go there is for insurance and location purposes. If this location shut its doors today, I certainly could see why. I wonder how many patients end up in a more dire situation simply because Walgreens wont do their job and fill the prescriptions in a timely manner? I only gave them one star because I had to so I could share this review. Walgreens, take notes from CVS across the street from you. Their parking lot and drive through is always booming. They obviously are doing something right.

My husband has used Walgreens in other states and have no problems he is a truck driver and is gone a lot. Every time he goes to the Villa Rica location they are rude and arrogant. We will be moving his prescriptions to another store

This place only has two stars. They dont even deserve that. Im referring to the pharmacy. The pharmacists are judgemental ignorant humans. I havent used this pharmacy in two years but i am still upset by their actions when I used them. Trust me. Stay away. Unless you want to feel like your doing something wrong by simply filling your prescription. Use a different Walgreens. They are making a bad name for this corporation.

I had an accident involving my eye so I have an ongoing prescription for eye drops. A friend volunteered to pick up my prescription for me after they got off work only to find out that this Walgreens pharmacy is out of stock.When I called the pharmacy earlier to get it filled and find out the price, they never said a word to me that they didnt have it, nor did they call me in the four hours since the call to say they didnt have it, nor are they answering the phone while my friend waited in their car to see what to do next. I could have called another Walgreens. My friend could have simply gone home after work.My friend wasted their time trying to help and I am spending the night with sore eyes.

This review is strictly reflective of the poor service I received tonight at the pharmacy. My 13 month old daughter had 2 prescriptions called in for an ear and eye infection by her doctor at 3 pm. We wait...and wait to be notified that it is ready for pickup. We go online, because their phone line isnt working, to see the status and one is ready for pickup and the other is waiting on insurance. I go to pickup the prescription at the drive thru where I am informed that they are out of stock of the second prescription, eye drops for her double eye infection. The clerk then tells me I can wait for it to be transferred to their store hopefully tomorrow, but probably Friday or I can call around to find a pharmacy that has it. So its 8 PM...what pharmacy other than a 24 hour one will be open? Why is it ok for my daughter to go that long with an untreated eye infection? Being nonconfrontational, I pull off to figure out exactly what Im supposed to do when it hits me. Why am I doing their job? Why havent they already called? I go in to ask my questions and to understand the situation. Im already angry and upset, am trying to hold it together, and the clerk and pharmacist are rude and blame the down system earlier in the day for everything. They are very cold, insincere, agitated, and rude to me because I actually want answers for why they didnt do their job to find the medicine. Phrases like what would you like me to do about it and uh I dont know why you werent notified are all I get until the pharmacist asks in a very condescending and unconcerned tone, would you like me to call other stores? My answer is yes, as I stand there thinking why they didnt do that already? All they had to do was handle everything in a proactive manner. As soon as they saw they were out of stock, go ahead and call to find the medicine so that I could go where it was or so they could find out exactly when they could get it. When a pharmacy is no longer concerned about making people, especially children, feel better, then maybe its time for them find different employees. My family will not be returning to this store as customers.

Just stood in line at the pharmacy with ONE PERSON ahead of me and at least five people behind for twenty minutes until I finally gave up and left because my wife and baby were sitting in the car outside. Absolutely unbelievable that every last thing on the Villa Rica exit (except the Chick-fil-A) is the worst of the worst.

This had to be the worst pharmacy I have found. Be prepared to not have your meds ready no matter how long ago or what call or email you get. I have had several times had a call to tell me they were ready just to get there and be told they have nothing for me but I can wait or come back. Gonna find a new place to go.

If the store is open until 10 pm on a Saturday, WHY does the pharmacy close at 6pm? The automated phone computer is enough to make you crazy before you ever speak to a human. When you do speak to a human, it will always be an hour and a half wait.

My mother was getting her Lantus there but the day she went to pick it up they only had one pen in stock. She went ahead and paid for 2 pens which is the price for two She had to have her inslun that day. in order for her to get it was to pay for two. Pharmacy said they would call her when it came in . they called but she was unable to pick it up that day. three days later my mother called, They informed her that policy rules if you didnt pick it up with in 5 days they put it back up So my mother got cheated out of one lantus pen and 26.00 Very rude techs

Photo lab is always on time. It’s never over crowded. Staff is helpful and plentiful. There is a makeup counter with an employee trained in cosmetics that will extend her services to you. I don’t like that they are not 24 hours, but their pharmacy is cheaper and accepts coupon cards and accepts good rx unlike cvs and they don’t have crazy wait times like cvs and Kroger. If they were open 24 hours, they’d get 5 stars, but they are getting that star anyways Bc of below.Ps- left my wallet in store with $156 cash, cards, coupons, gift cards, and not only was it returned to me, they did not even have the name Bc it was never even opened up until I came to claim and they made sure my address was correct in addition to name in case of scam. An employee making maybe 10 an hour finding that at closing could have easily put it in her purse and did not. That’s what I call integrity. I’ll never shop elsewhere when it comes to drug store needs, now. That sealed the deal as I’ve left many walletts in my time and received many empty wallets in my 33 years as I don’t often wear purses, which is my fault, but right is right and wrong is wrong. That’s called integrity and honesty.

This is the worst Walgreens ever. Thyre slow in not courteous. I recently needed a medication filled on Thanksgiving. This is a narcotic which I understand not everyone has. I called the day before and told them my situation. They said I would have to got a 24 hour Walgreens. So I called the closest one I knew of and they told they couldnt carry it due to some FDA reg. So I called CVS and got the same bs run around we cant tell you on the phone whether have narcotics... I hope the US government collapses. Will be the best thing to happen to the planet.

We moved my Mothers prescriptions from CVS because that place was a zoo. My Mother had been in the ER all day and we left with a prescription. Mother had not eaten all day so I went to the drive thru to drop off the prescription. I told the woman that I was taking her to get something to eat & wed be back after that to pick up the prescription. I was informed that there was a 1 1/2 delay in filling prescriptions that were dropped off at the drive thru. But I could go in and hand them the prescription and they could fill it within 15 minutes. WHAT? So you get penalized for using the drive thru. I had never heard of anything so asinine in my life.

Also I called them each of these days, no one called to give me an update or offer to see if another Walgreens could fill it .
