This is a large store. Very friendly staff. Very helpful. Unfortunately, they are victims of the cargo ships sitting filled with product in the sea. The shelves are getting a little bare. I was looking for an everyday item that was not in stock. Employee apologized and told me where I could go to find it in the area. That was very helpful.

Olga at Michaels Vienna suggested this frame. She has an aesthetic eye and told me to keep the frame simple as the painting itself has a lot going on. Everyone in my house loved it! Thanks Olga!

Michaels is Michaels ! Its a hit or miss store. This one is exceptionally clean. Staff are friendly as well.

Went to this location after buying out the frames at the Fair Lake store---couldnt find what I was looking for---but a Michaels frame person named Jeff helped me. He learned quickly that the Maple Avenue store didnt carry the exact frame I was seeking---but he helped find a different Michaels that did, and he was a very nice, and knowledgeable person. Tho I didnt find what I was looking for THIS time---my experience was a positive one, thanks to Jeff.

I love this store, they have everything, great staff and great sales. The staff helps you to find any coupons that can be applied. I stop by all the time just to see what they have. Clean, well stocked and lots of options for adults and kids. Great for parents.

I was so lucky to have Sean help me today at the checkout. Some truly terrible customer service. I called to see if my custom frame was ready to be picked up. I spent 65 minutes on hold. Thats not an exaggeration. It was actually 65-minutes. I had to call back multiple times, and I was left on hold each time. Then I called Michaels corporate customer care. I spoke with a man who called the store while I was still on the line. It took another 15 minutes before we even were able to speak with the framing department. Once we got a hold of the framing department, they said they couldnt find my custom frame. It took another five minutes before they found the order on the computer, but they couldnt physically find the frame. They spent another five minutes searching the department looking for it. After they found the frame, they said it was ready to be picked up. Of course, I never received an email or phone call from the store saying it was ready to be picked up. All told, I spent over an hour and a half on the phone for a simple yes or no question. I will happily pay extra at any other framing store than go back to Michaels.

You would love it if you live art craft or house base projects, if you have home base products .But make sure you always show them 20 or 30 percent coupon, and use rewards then it is best

If youre looking for Michaels then you already know what a magical place it is. Went there for my Christmas crafting supplies. They have it all, foam cones, yarn, faux poinsettia, paints, paper and really anything else you need for crafting and art fun.

I had a terrible experience working with Christopher in the custom framing department. He saw me twice from the framing area as I patiently waited for him. I had to call out to him twice to get him to acknowledge me even after he had seen me waitingHe proceeded to price out the most expensive frame and glass available when I told him I was looking for something basis (he thought I could not afford to have something custom framed and wanted to price me out). When I called him out on why my estimate included the most expensive glass and frame and quickly adjusted the estimate to about half the original price when he knew he was caught.There are 5 other framing shops within a 4 miles radius of this store. Go to a place that values your business.

Great store for arts n crafts. The many times Ive visited with my client on Wednesdays between 1-3pm the cashiers have been rude to all customers when they attempt polite conversation, very bluntly.

A complete arts and crafts store.

Great place for arts and crafts.I always find great materials for all my projects and also lots of kits for trying out new crafts.The cost of things there can get a bit pricey but there are almost always discounts, offers, sales and coupons that you can use.

People who know their craft - I went for an assortment of different items and the store is so big I had no idea where to look. Thankfully the very kind store associate ( I think her name was Wendy ) led me to the exact spot I needed to be. I then perused around the massive store grabbing other things I needed and when it was time to leave i noticed a very big line had formed. Just when I had resolved to just deal with it and wait another cashier came up and it only took about 2 minutes. Very satisfied and eager to return.

This one is good but small the staff is friendly and helpful. Make sure you check for coupons before you go there is always one available. The best is the cute seasonal stuff. They do have a little of everything there.

Always has great crafts for the kids, and excellent picture frames for our home. Make sure to check online for coupons or even better, join the Michaels club for extra coupon offers. Staff is usually pretty good about honoring paper coupons even if you forgot them at home. :-)

Terrible store customer service experience. Let’s start by saying that I prefer Michaels over other craft stores, always have. But today’s experience may have changed that for life. Most of my friends and I are crafters (I will definitely be informing them of my experience). I placed an online order for store pickup within 2 hours to stay at a “social distance” from others and was at first impressed with Michaels offering this service. After about 4 hours around 11am, and no word from Michaels on my order update I called to store to check on the status of my order. I was told by the associate that she would prioritize my order and have them prepare it ASAP, she also stated that their goal was to have all orders done by No later than 4pm so my order should be ready by then. Based on this information I planned my day.When I venture out to the store at 4:58 I realize I haven’t received any order updates. I call the store in the parking lot and and rudely addressed by an older male employee. When I tell him the information I was given earlier that day, he abruptly states that “2-3 hrs for an order is not during a Pandemic.” I then asked if he could check on the status of my order since I was already there. He sounded annoyed and told me that he would place me on hold because two other customers were on the phone with the same issue...... then he hung up.Irritated at this point I get out the car to go to the line outside of the store to find out that the store is actually accepting customers with a limit and short wait outside. I still call back because I feel disrespected by the actions of the previous employee and I feel the manager should know. This was a wasted phone call because by the time he got to the phone I was almost at the door and the manager only said “ I’m sorry you felt you were treated that way do you want a manager to meet you at the door?” At this point I’m over them and I tell him no, just cancel my order (which he didn’t). (p.s. I let him know Michael’s isn’t an essential store for them to treat the customers the way they were, it’s not like we need chicken or water, you know... things to live.”I wait until I’m allowed inside to shop for my own items only to not be able to find them... I asked for help from an associate and she says that’s not something they carry. Confused, I explained that this is something I had ordered online for same day pickup and showed her my order number.. nicely enough she asked a few fellow associates and they had no clue where the items were either. But at least she was nice enough to actually provide customer service and cancelled my order as she said she would.Needless to say I left Michaels extremely dissertation and feeling like I wasted a whole day on them pretty much.. luckily Hobby Lobby had everything I was looking for and to my surprise at a lower price.. shame on you Michaels.

It’s a nice store. The employees are very friendly and helpful. They don’t carry fabric in the store. You have to order it online.

If I had my druthers, Id spend way more time and money here than I should. Good resource for general supplies in several craft areas. Extensive scrapbooking section, if thats your bag. Lots of different brands of yarn, but not a huge range of yarn types (mostly synthetics). The staff are great. Definitely worth a browse.
