Customer service was pretty good. Seems Ive got a great deal on a used vehicle.The detail they do on the cars could use some more caring for.They do sell the cars with needed maintenance.Try to talk that into your deals.The test driving experience was pretty cool.

Omg!! I had the best experience ever here!! With my credit at a low 600 I was able to get approved for a car with a low down payment meet my baby Storm!! Ask for Frank Ingram he’s the guy to talk to there he’s kind, very patient and professional. All the other staff were exceptionally nice and helpful if Frank wasn’t there. We are often renting cars lately because our car had broken down. They do require a $250-$350 deposit for every rental. I dont rent it directly through their site but through a third party site call staysavervactions.com which is a private owned online site for a vacation membership for international and local traveling with hotels, cars, cruises, air b&b, private homes and u can auction off your own unused timeshare weeks and u save tons on taxes and fees. if you need a car and want to save money I can send you the link. But I did like car but unfortunately the check engine light came up on us in middle of the desert on a road trip and because I prepaid they werent willing to offer any compensation for the trouble of having to trade the car in with a full tank to get another car. I will rent there again but Ill be sure to check the car is in good shape prior to leaving.

Well, I was very, likely in the beginning; but things changed after returning the car. I was told when I had to extend my rental, because of circumstances beyond my control i had to extend the car rental.. I lost my purse I had no ID No cc no debit card couldnt access any of my money fromy bank without an ID. Anyways I was told that I would be charged an additional $500 Somthing, but I was charged an additional $1180.80. So I was not happy and am still not happy about it. Why would I be charged 2x as much when the person other phone told me 500 something? Unsatisfied customer.

No pressure sales lot. This was truly a wonderful stop in our car lot touring. Tawyna and Kelly were friendly and helpful. The branch manager was straight forward which is so refreshing. we had planned on finding our next reliable vehicle through CarMax but we also wanted to help the tax dollars stay local. I bought a 2018 Nissan Versa from Avis.They make buying a car very easy, its not the usual car buying experience. I was able to most of it by email. I would recommend them, a large car dealerships, Avis has been around a long time.They got me a better finance rate than I was previously paying. Try them out.

My booking was easy to schedule, and also the location in Barstow didnt have my car ready when needed. I was able to have customer service find me another location in Victorville that was able to fulfill my order. I was also able to get a great deal in rate price than any other car rental place including peer to peer rentals. The staff at the Victorville location were very helpful, and worked with me to get me a nice car to drive. The car I drove was still new and drove great for my whole week. I will rent a car from here again the next time I need to. Thank you!

The staff here was great. Give me an upgrade from the car that I initially went in for due to the plies available on the lot. However upon my arrival at my destination I ran into problems with corporate. Due to flight issues on the other end. Local staffs great corporate not so much.

I was a late check-in on a Saturday. My personal vehicle broke down, and I didnt have time to call in. With 15min to closing time, the young lady who assisted me was kind, understanding, & very knowledgable of what I needed. And the price was manageable. Great first time experience.

First of all, its a hassle had to go in 4 times just to be able to get the car I rented and paid for online. I go in check out the reservation, the gentleman working there does not tell me they have to hold 100$ for security purposes so he just passes my card through without letting me know, so he says he cant take the card because I have no money! Very unprofessional. Workers need to be trained better and have manners! Definitely not going back and wouldnt recommend to anyone, made us miss 1 day of our trip

The Avis employees behind the counter are friendly and accommodating to the best of their ability every time I go into the Victorville location. On one occasion while using a car rental booking app on my phone without realizing booked a car at another location with a whole different company without realizing until I was dropping off the car I had been renting from Avis... They helped me in every way possible. I ended up canceling with the other company and keeping the car I had been renting for another week-even though it was a holiday weekend and I figured Avis would have been sold out! Which was great, because I didnt want to give up the car yet anyways!

Insurance was not explained. I had $5 insurance that turned out to be $17 a day. That came to a total of $250. So final cost was way over expedition. Car was gorgeous, ran well. Waiting times are awful with very long lines. People cut in front of you, with no way of getting your spot back in line. The daily rental rate was good, just be very careful about insurance

Purchased a truck from this location and had a great experience thanks to Betty and her team! The transaction was a little tricky because I live 90 miles away and didnt want to make more than one trip. Betty was always in contact and provided all the info I needed to acquire my own financing, test drive, and take the truck home. The price was better than anywhere else (by far) and the purchase experience was great: no pressure at all.

Our pickup time was scheduled at 10 am. My mother arrived at 10:06 am . . When my mother arrived she was told the car wasnt ready . She saw the men cleaning the van . She wasnt given the van until 10:45 . Now when she dropped off the van, same thing ...her check out time also took at long time .

Avis partnership with AARP is a better value than AAA & Hertz. I used Avis extensively for business travel and always found them to be on the top of their game.

Went in needing a car bad my friend told me about Avis and how Betty had helped her. I was luckily enough to catch them open(as they were reopening from the covid). Josh also helped me out with getting me approved knowing my tough circumstances but I ended up finding the car that matched me quite nicely a 2017 Chevy Malibu. Other that the bumps and scratches from its previous owners it’s nice car and drives very smooth. So thank you Betty and Josh for helping me find my car!!

I have never been treated so poorly by any company I have done business with. I have always rented from major cities without any issues. There is a clear and obvious difference in the way this franchize treats its customers, based in part, because of obvious demographic differences. I didnt spend more than 2 minutes in there because they wanted multiple forms of contact information because you might not bring the car back. I WAS SHOCKED! And left promptly

Barstow location claimed they had no one-way rentals and cancelled my reservation i had booked online causing me to spend extra money for hotel. Refund takes 3-5 business days so my money was all tied up and could not go to other rental agency until that money was returned. This forced me to pay hotel for the weekend and caused me to miss job orientation at destination. Had to go to victorville location to finally get a car. By the time i got to oregon the job got taken so i had to take the car cross country to get home. Due to inclimate weather and interstate closure i was delayed in returning the car at the new destination in louisville and was charged for a whole extra day upon arrival. I tried to call the avis but nobody ever answers phones at the locations to recieve that info. All in all avis was a trashy and expensive experience and i will spread the word as far as i can to keep people away from there. Customer service? Only two of about 12 different people were polite.

On Monday morning, October the 12th, me and my wife went to the avis location in victorville to try and buy a car. When we arrived, a lady behind the counter asked us what we needed. I replied, that we were here to purchase a vehicle. She pointed to an area to the right of some chairs, and told us to go that way, so we did. We saw two men talking, and they saw us but they did not approach us. So we sat in a waiting area there and waited for 30 minutes. People walked by us but never helped us. So we finally left. I decided to call the manager and he told me that I sat in the rental customer area, and that we look like rental customers, and thats why they didnt approach us. I asked him, what does rental customers look like? To which he replied with a raised voice, Hey look, its early Monday morning, and everyone is a little slow today, ok! He kept talking over me, and interrupting.Me and my wife were willing to spend alot of money in purchasing a vehicle from Avis, but its not worth the agrivation.

Customer service was horrible. One employee had their small child there while she was working. Employee talked to me in a very disrespectful tone. I walked right out and got my money back.

Love renting from you, but a man went into Avis and the receptionist told him he would have to pay for 1 more day because he put his keys in the box. The man said when he called their company he was told to put the key in the box. But she said well Im sorry about that maybe someone took the paper away from the box which told people not to put the keys in the box but he still had to pay an extra day of rental. Thats not fair. Thats the only problem I have with Avis. Also the $10 extra along with the rental price which I know you have to pay for extra day rental, its the $10 dollars I dont want to pay. But I do like renting from avis because when you dont have the $200 deposit you can still rent a car from Avis. Oh, well everyone have to find ways that they can make a little more extra money because of the price of gas, taxes, maintenance fees or whatever other fees at rental companies have to pay. Will rent again. Just dont put keys in the box! Lol!

My visit was more than pleasant and by the end I felt like everyone knew me. I didnt feel pressured to get a more expensive vehicle or to add on features I didnt need. I left in the car I was checking out online. Tonya, Betty, Frank, Josh and the rest of the team are amazing. I felt like I was dealing with real people not a corporation. I love my car.
