VERY impressed!! On Saturday, I took delivery of my new 2021 Ford F-150 from Sunland Ford. I absolutely love the truck and more importantly very much enjoyed the experience with the team at Sunland Ford. The entire process was quick and easy! There was zero back and forth BS games that I have experienced at other area dealerships. To be honest those prior BS experiences caused me to take my money to the dealerships down the hill so this purchase was my first car purchase in the High Desert. I highly recommend giving Sunland a chance if youre in the market for a new/used vehicle. You wont be disappointed!!

They pointed out other services available, told me the costs of each procedure and time involved. I took my truck in to have an issue with the computer system in my 2019 Ranger fixed on 9/14/2021. I dropped the truck off at 7:30 am and was promised to hear an update the next day, didn’t hear anything so around 4:15 the next day I called my advisor Jennifer, she was not available so I left a message asking to get a call back, next day still no call I called again Jennifer wasn’t available and no one had any information on my truck. Friday I finally get a call from Jennifer around 2:30 telling me my truck is finished and I can come get it but because I had no idea when it would be done I had no ride to go get it and I had asked when I left it to get information on tires but she didn’t tell me that until Friday so I left it until Saturday so I could have tires put on and an alignment, picked it up Friday the alignment had not been done because of an issue with the front suspension spacers but no call about that and on the way home the same problem I had taken it in for was still not fixed! I love my truck but NEVER want to take it back there! 4 day without my truck, no rental and all that was accomplished was new tires. Not happy!!

This business takes no responsibility for the mistakes of its technicians and refuses to share details of the diagnostic process with their customers. The service writers tell you they will call you on a certain date, and then consistently fail to follow through. They take hours to return phone calls and complain of being overworked and understaffed while they continue to take in new work at the service drive. My car was in their shop for 100 days only to break down again after 32 days. They immediately blamed the parts they got, despite not having a diagnosis or any details to share about what theyve checked and can only give me a loose timeframe of two weeks minimum and no help with a temporary replacement vehicle. Im left high and dry without even an apology from the service manager who smirked at me and got snide with me while I left his office feeling totally helpless, asking I thought you wanted your car pulled out for you sir, something which had been discussed as a hypothetical.Simply put, dont support this business in any way. And while youre at it, dont waste your money on any ford products.

I am so grateful for this dealership! My family and I traveled from Minnesota back to SoCal for a funeral this past couple of weeks. We drove down in a Buick enclave whose engine seized while in St. George Utah, and ended up buying a Ford explorer - which we love. The Ford started doing an overheating thing when the ac was on, and the dealer we bought it from could not diagnose it. I had called Sunland while on the way and was told they couldnt even get my car in until September, which for obvious reasons wouldnt work. We ended up just showing up on a Thursday and giving them our story and showed them pictures of what was going on. Our service advisor Jennifer Scott, was wonderful! She got the car diagnosed on Monday, ordered a part and the car was fixed and ready to go for us on the following Thursday! She was great with communication, returned phone calls promptly, and was overall one of the best people at a dealership. Thanks to her, we were able to drive the long 32 hour drive home with no issues!!

I had the best buying experience I have ever had at Sunland Ford. From sales all the way through financing was pain free. I would ask for Andrew when buying. He was not pushy at all. He laid out what was available, to include incentives and knew what he was talking about without having to go ask his manager questions all throughout the sale, and he seemed like a genuinely nice guy.

Worst customer service. No matter what day or time you go it’s 2 1/2-3hour wait. The easiest item changing out my engine AIR filter was not done! No one went over the items needed, when I asked the service tech were there any issues he says oh no the guys would have said so when they brought the car up. I wasn’t able to go over my paperwork until later that night and the diagnostic showed the engine air filter on RED, I was there 3 hours and they didn’t change my air filter. Because it was in immediate need to be changed out and I didn’t want to spend another 3 hours at your terrible dealer service I changed the air filter myself! I bought my car there but I HATE the service department!

So to preface the review a little, this is the 17th new vehicle I’ve purchased from a dealership in my life. I say that, because it’s important to set the highs and lows when giving an honest review. On that note, I have to say hands down this was best dealership experience Ive ever had. What an amazing group of representatives. Friendly and knowledgeable, and above all, good people. And I emphasize people. Not salesmen. Tony Hayes, the rep who sold us our new Ford Ranger, was genuinely a good person, and didn’t try to give us the run around. Straight and to the point, showed us exactly what we were looking for, and gave us a fair, solid deal. On to finance, Travis put in the work to get us the best financing available, and had us singed and out the door quickly.Overall, outstanding team at Sunland, and would be proud to do business with them again!

Updated:After my last review I was contacted by Sunland Ford… they were looking for details on our experience and which staff assisted us so that any issues could be addressed. I had a lengthy conversation with the general sales manager, Wes, and for the first time in all of my car buying experience I was able to work with someone who was 110% transparent with everything.Going to a car dealership is a business transaction that starts with a level of tension whether we want it to or not.. the dealership wants to make money, the salesperson wants to earn their pay, and the customer just wants a fair deal. I think a lot of conflict can arise from these situations and it’s unfortunate, but it’s just how it is. .Wes helped us to sell our cars to the dealership, set us up with a saleswoman who made things easy, and got rid of the bad taste in our mouths from our previous visits to Ford.We went in just to talk with Wes and we left with the thought that when it’s time to buy a vehicle.. this is the first place we will be going.Thank you Wes for all of your help!Original:Go to a different Ford dealership… go to any other Ford Dealership if you’re looking to buy a car.In 2016 we came here to buy a vehicle and the saleswoman was very very rude and had a ton of attitude! I remember she made a comment about how we should just leave and not waste her time. I don’t know why but we went back the next day and bought a 2015 Ford F-150.. the sales guy that helped us then was great but we almost walked out on the deal 3 times due to the terrible service from management. If I remember correctly we were there for over 5 hours… but we love our truck. Service over the years has been hit or miss, sometimes it’s great and others it’s mediocre, I wouldn’t have an issue with having a vehicle serviced here in the future.Fast forward to 2021.. we are looking to buy a new vehicle and right off the bat the sales guy seems annoyed like we’ve inconvenienced him by being there.. I explain what we’re looking for and he has no suggestions so I point at a couple and ask questions.. he’s knowledgeable but again just seems annoyed.. no smile, no friendly chat, just answers questions and stands there. After looking at a couple vehicles my husband asks for value on our trade and gets into an argument with the guy.. now I know my husband can be difficult to deal with, but I’ve also spent years in customer service and there are ways to handle it, none of which involve being rude to the customer. At the end they said that they couldn’t cut a check on our trade because it was the weekend which sounds like bull to me but it could be accurate. Needless to say we did not make a deal here and I doubt we will be returning.

Overall great experience. However, salespeople were slow to notice that we were on the lot looking at vehicles. We were about to leave when someone finally came out to help us. Would have given 5 stars if not for that. Otherwise, customer service was excellent from salesperson to management to financing. All involved went above and beyond to give us the best possible deal!

Customer service here is lacking to non-existent if they know you are not ready to purchase. Came here to test drive a vehicle and was very transparent that I had already ordered a vehicle with another company as well as the rate and price but wanted to keep my options open. The rep went to let their manager know and since I wasnt ready to purchase was told every excuse they had as to not allow me to test drive and to schedule a future appointment, even told me that since your not ready and that they were highly busy. Yet not two minutes before another rep came to ask us if we needed help then walked around the parking lot (but they were very busy) Even if I did cancel my current order and did decide to purchase the vehicle with Ford, it wouldnt be with a company like this who doesnt take care of their customers because they think they arent going to make the sale, I get it they didnt want to put miles on a new car for a not sure thing but this was not the way to go. Will be letting my real estate friends know not to haggle here either.

Had a great experience here! My service guy Larry L. was AMAZING and super KIND! He explained everything to me and was not pushy about what needed to be done like a lot of the car places up here. He made sure that my car was in tip top shape and took care of an issue I had when my car was returned to me without question. Being a female not knowing anything about cars and having issues with your car can be super stressful but Larry made sure to ease my stress and took great care of me! THANKS LARRY!!!!!! I wanted to take a moment and give a shout out to Sunland Ford and especially Tony Hayes and Travis Palmer. They were both awesome to work with and made the purchase of my Bronco Sport easy and pleasant.I contacted 15 dealers around the state looking for this particular model/color and each one told me to come look at the ones on their lot. Tony was the only one who said he would check inventory and called me back the same day stating Sunland had one coming in. He made arrangements for me to reserve the car and kept me informed constantly on status and delivery dates. Travis had all the paperwork ready for me when I came in and was extremely courteous of my time and made every effort to get the sale done quickly.I have bought many cars in my lifetime and this was one of the most pleasurable purchases I have made. Edit: After a great initial experience, things went downhill. I traded in a car that was still under a loan, and they paid it off in full. Or so I thought. We signed papers on the 4th, and they used a two week pay off on our loan. Called to see why almost 3 weeks later that my account still hasn’t been paid off. They waited two weeks to mail the check, it was mailed on the 18th. Exactly two weeks later when the pay off is no longer good and I will end up owing more money on a car I already traded in almost a month ago. 😡Wonderful experience from start to finish!! Mike, Jeff, Scott, and Josh were awesome to work with. Not only did they make sure we got the best deal possible, but they made sure I got exactly what I wanted. They weren’t pushy at all, and made sure I stayed on budget. They had to do a dealer trade to get the Explorer I wanted, and they even delivered it to me at work when they received it in! I cannot say enough about the customer service, and the experience I had here!!

This was my first and last car I buy with Sun land Ford. Not only did they sell me a defective new 2021 car but when I dropped it off to see what was causing the issues they #1 never called me to tell me they were done with my car. I called a week after dropping it off since the lady that helped me told me it would take about a week only to find out they finished five days before I called but no one called me to let me know. On top of that they told me they couldn’t find anything wrong with it so I was without my car for week just for them to say they can’t figure out the issues. Issues being my media screen will go completely black out not allowing me to do anything my entire trip at least twice a week. This issue actually started a few days after I purchased my car and when I mentioned it to them the initial response was “well you know technology doesn’t always work right” excuse me? But no this shouldn’t be an issue especially a constant issue from first purchasing the car. Aside from that my AC stopped blowing out cold air and only blew out extremely hot air my entire trip as well. Everyone told me not to go to Ford well I should of listened because this is completely ridiculous.

This dealership is so amazingly unprofessional it shocks me that they are still open. I have been trying for a little under ONE MONTH to try and get in for a SAFETY RECALL. I called them during normal operating hours the first time and they weren’t even there they had left for the day. So I called back and left a message explaining that I would like to set up and appointment for a safety recall. Nobody ever called back. So then I decided you know what? I’ll just set it up online because then I don’t have to talk to them. Set it up for this morning and when I called to confirm they decided to tell me the system was down and they had no appointment for myself. This is a SAFETY issue but apparently system errors on THEIR PART means nothing because the earliest they can get me in is Monday. Well people work and I won’t be able to get in until Thursday morning. Tried to get a hold of the Manager Daniel but no, he can’t be bothered either. Completely Unprofessional as a team and after this safety issue is handled I and my family will never be going there again. Let’s hope the car even makes it til Thursday driving up and down the Cajon Pass.

One day my steering went out. Had the car towed to Sunland Ford for service. Was told that the electronics in my rack and pinion assembly went out- a $2100 dollar fix. Add to that $400 for bearing replacement (this one actually made sense). I couldnt afford that, so I decided to sell my car to Pick a Part for $900. When Pick a Part came to take the car I had to start it to make sure it ran. Lo and behold, the steering worked too. I asked my service rep why did it work and they said they reset the electronics but the underlying problem still exists. With the pandemic, I dont use my car much (work from home). If I had known it was working, I could have taken the car home and then brought it back the next paycheck I had. So then I ask for the bill from the service rep. I was charged $150 not for a multi-point inspection or use of the computer to find the problem, but for Re-inspection of prior safety recall. I would have paid for the inspection without any qualms, but found it odd they had to dress it up as a re-inspection of a recall (to the best of my knowledge, there are no recalls for the rack and pinion systems for a 2012 Ford Focus).The service team was quick and polite every member of the team was courteous and helpful. That is why I didnt give it a one star rating.

Had an appointment to get a appraisal on a vehicle I want to sell. The individual setting the appointment makes you feel that you will get what the KBB value is. Once the salesman/appraiser asks if you are trading in or outright selling theres the trigger. The sales manager will give you a lowball offer. Stay clear of this place.e.

I love Fords and this is my 3rd. Visited car lots in Barstow, San Bernardino, and Rancho Cucamonga and decided to purchase a vehicle at Sunland Ford, primarily because of Brian St.John. Brian was a pleasure to work with when purchasing my Bronco Sport. Appreciated his followup and follow thru, keeping me informed after I ordered my Bronco. He is very knowledgable about vehicles in general, specifically Ford, and made sure I was well informed when selecting options. Buying a F-150 from Sunland Ford was a simple process. It took 2.5 hours form the time we entered the dealership until we had keys in hand and were eon our way to dinner. We had the vehicle picked out well before arriving and did have an appointment which made the process much easier. Our salesman was helpful and the financing was expedient as well. I thought I was getting a good deal but after a couple of weeks I looked under the hood and realize it was wreaked before I bought it it has substantial damage on the inner panel which is structure damage I talked two couple off people who did not even want to look at it I talked to a finance guy who point blank said they are not gonna do NY thing about on the car fax said no accidents reported my w24000 dollars turn in to 32000 for a wreaked car update a day after this review the general manager reached out to me and had bring the car in and sent it to the body shop and put a rush on it after days later I got my car back now u can not even tell any damage but most of all they treated me with respect and that the customer counts I would refer all my friends to Sunland ford

This was an excellent experience. Isaac was very informative and showed honest enthusiasm during our interaction. One of the most important qualities was that he did not over sell the truck and was not pushy. He was straight forward and I felt I received the best deal. Recently I had taken my 2017 F350 service truck in for some warranty work because the ford dealer in Barstow was not able to get it in for a month or so. VV ford said we can get you in right away,so I brought my truck in on a Tuesday(August 25th). The next day came I received a call and they said they found the problem but wouldnt be able to get parts until the following Monday(August 31st) but, advised me if I just left the truck they could get started on it right away and when the parts arrived they would start getting the truck back together. Well the following Tuesday(September 1st) came and the truck hadnt been touched. After talking with them they said we apologize we will have it done by Friday (September 4th). Friday came and no one called and said anything so I was finally able to get ahlod of the service advisor Sheri and once again said it wasnt done and still hasnt been touched but it will be done Tuesday(September 8th) end of day well here we are 2 weeks later and the truck still hasnt been fixed or even started. The only thing they did was put 2 new tires on it but did not repair the truck so by this point for being off work and not making money for 2 weeks they charge me full price for the tires! I picked the truck up and was able to get it to another dealer. I cannot believe a Ford dealership can get away with this. This is joke and they have cost me thousands of dollars being off work. I do not recommend this dealer for anything.

Weve been to a number of ford dealers because we travel the country full time with our f150 and travel trailer. Sunland is definitely one of the better dealers.Time is important to me and they give you a realistic time frame for the work and they deliver. The staff are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Cant for more, though elsewhere I have received a lot less.

Initially had rode in and looked at the bronco spott. Talked to Shane and he didnt try pushing me at all, since the one there wasnt what I wanted. A few days later,Talked to the internet sales person kat a few times about reserving a new bronco, and was given all my options . Went in and Stephen handled the whole process for me while I sat on my phone. Kat even came in to say hi which is rare and nice. Josh in finance then walked me through all my costs and really helped me understand what I was signing and what it was for, and talked to me like I was a person and not a wallet. These people are awesome and really just want to help. I left in about an hour with my new bronco, finance and trade in done, which I was given a really good price for

Tried to give Sunland my business as I have lived here in the desert for over 30 years. My first experience trying to buy a truck was a very long time ago. I was on the lot looking at trucks and I a salesman comes out of the show room and yells out.....Do you need help or not? That was enough for me. I continued to make my vehicle purchases from a VERY large Ford dealer in San Fernando Valley. I’ve purchased 13 cars/Trucks from them over 20 years. This past weekend I felt I should give Sunland a try. It really was a big waste of my time. They had no interest in trying to make a deal happen as if they were the only Ford dealership on earth. There is no negotiation to try to close a deal. The dealership in the San Fernando Valley won’t let you leave unless you pretty much get what you want which is why I’ve purchased 14 vehicles from them. The salesman at Sunland pretty much challenged me to go and get a better deal. (If I could). I’m done with Sunland and will continue to give the dealership in the San Fernando Valley my business as will my family and friends.
