I have been coming here since 2010. Once I found this place I have never went any where else. I refer everyone here. They will diagnose your problem, call you give you some options on pricing and time frames, you decide what works best for you. Mojave Auto will do what they said they will do, in the time frame they quoted. If there are changes they will update before they move forward. They are honest, and very experienced and knowledgeable.They replaced my transmission in 2007 Toyota Tundra in 2 days it was finished. No problems once I left. My friend has replaced her engine in a 2004 Chevy blazer. The person she went to was not knowledgeable enough to complete the job. The timing was off in the engine among other problems. We didn’t have that much money! Mojave auto fixed the blazer in 2 days and the price was reasonable. I won’t go any where else.

Been taking my cars here for years now. Ive always had great service and quality work done. Years ago I shopped around to get a heater core replaced on my Ford Ranger. Everyone wanted $350 to $500 dollars telling me that you had to remove the dash to get to the heater core. Knowing that to be true on many cars I wasnt that shocked with the prices. Then I called and spoke to Robert at Mojave Auto Repair, he quoted me $85 INCLUDING parts (heater core). First thing I thought was this guy doesnt know whats involved with this job. But he told me on the phone that this year of Ford Ranger is very easy and that the heater core sits right behind the glove box. He said bring it down Ill get on it right away. Had my truck back in 3 hours working great for $85. Been taking my cars to Mojave Auto Repair ever since then.Fast forward 10 years. Now, many people in the Victor Valley know he is an honest mechanic, so he is much busier than he used to be, it may take a little longer to get my car back, but so what Im not getting ripped off, its worth the wait !Its hard to find honest people in general let alone an honest mechanic. Took in my car for repair. He said they put new parts but to this date it still does the same thing.my husband doesnt want to deal, with him because he had a heart attack. This problem agrrivated him to the point of getting his heart attack. My husbands taking the car to get it fixed somewhere else when we save up some money because we are on a fixed income. WE WILL NEVER GO AGAIN.

They dont answer the phone and I needed to get stuff out of the car in the shop but wasnt going to drive 45 minutes before they say its ok

Possibly the WORST place to take your car. I was told 500$ to fix my car, haggled it down to 400$... The owner or part owner or what ever was in a big hurry to charge my card. I asked the person multiple times if the issue was taken care of, and if the car was overheating. Now keep in mind this is after they just ran the car for aprox. 20 mins. The person said no car is working fine. We swiped card, paid 416$ total.. And magically I get in the car, crank it up, and within me sitting there for 2 minutes it was overheating.. The guy Robert is highly rude, and based on the research I have done on this company.. seems to have a lot of problems getting the job done properly. Do not take your vehicle here, unless you want to pay for NOTHING.

When i entered the door, i was greeted. The first step in customer service. I had been to another shop that had high ratings. As im new to this area, i got lost even after using my gps. I called and the man on the other end was rude. I dismissed it thinking that he just may be busy. However, That shop mgr. Ignored me when i entered the door. Never again. He obviously didnt need the business in this great economy!
