Employees very helpful in locating item I was looking for.

They used to have a better selection of shoes in my opinion but that does not mean their selection is currently lacking per say. I could not find what I was looking for there ... Maybe next time. Store was clean. Well lit. The staff was polite. Check out took a bit because there were only 2 registers open.

Trying to get my father setup for his yearly dove hunting... Inventory low, and cashier was not very informative on our ammo transactions, no signs on limits, etc. And made our purchases very confusing with both of us needing to use different forms of pymt in order for us to buy ammo. I understand but should of informed us alot clearer and not at the time of sale only so we could have handled it more smoothly and with less frustration for my father.

Has a good variety of most anything you might need for school shoes, clothes, BBQing, fishing, and so forth. Easier to get around than in bigger sports stores.

I always go here for my daughters Gymnastics outfits. Love that they have lots to choose from. .

We always seem to find a pretty good deal here on what were looking for. Their prices are a little higher than the big chains like Walmart but you get what you pay for their stuff is high quality. Very happy with our last few visits here and would recommend them

All of the associates are friendly and helpful. I went to pick up an online order and did so without hassle. I even looked around and purchased additional items and was able to pay using the same dedicated pick up lane.

These young men went above and beyond. What seemed like a long time wound up being super positive and well worth the time. They all were trying to make sure I had a good experience, and I appreciate it. Special shout out to Hunter for his help just before I left; what took you a couple of minutes saved me at least an hour of pain in the neck.

Typical 10+ registers but only 2 open. 30 minutes waiting in line with employees huddled by door. A lot of the camping gear items we wanted were out of stock.

Friendly staff, bought a bow that came with no bow string. They helped point me in the direction to get a bow string from the manufacturer for free

We parked overnight in a motorhome with permission from the store. Quite noisy due to a lot of cars hanging around in the parking lot. Quieted down around 10PM.

Managers need to train there workers. If a veteran wearing a veteran cap why do they ask for prove for his discount. I would not wear a veteran cap if I wasnt a vet.

Do not require mask. I dont feel safe.

Nice variety I like that theyre starting to get more ammo back in stock.. I was very frustrated that they had 3 registers open. Each line was at least 5 or 6 customers deep waiting to check out with all kind of employees standing around. This seems to be a very common occurrence at the Victoria location Otherwise my rating would be a consistent 5 star

The associate who helped us with does was great! Samuel helped us find the shoes we wanted and the correct insoles to make them for a hard to fit foot with a high instep.

I can find just about anything Im looking for.

It is unfortunate that I was informed that the registers auto shut down 10mins before closing. My wife and I was surprised that they were to be open untill midnight. We were excited because my wife wanted an elliptical machine she wanted the 799.99 the first one on display. We were also going to get a basket ball for my daughter, then I saw the Pac Man 40th anniversary game for 499.99 as I was speaking to my wife about finding an associate to get these for us I was interrupted by a younger associate with dark hair and glasses and he said you have 3 mins to check out until our registers auto shut down that was at 11:47pm. So the registers close before the store does at midnight. Thats a shame with tax they lost out 1,500.00. Dec 19th 2020

Pretty good service items easy to find though I would re stock some stuff soon and fix some of the non existent price labels both other than that I enjoyed walking around and purchasing the items I did

Weve always loved this Academy in Victoria, TX. But today, my husband and I got separated momentarily and he had a seizure. The staff responded quickly to keep him safe. Got him water and paged me as soon as he came to. By the time I got to him, he was sitting there, with a bottle of water, several staff and a wheelchair to assist us out of the store. He was surprised no one freaked out. They just knew what to do. Thank you SO very much for your assistance, Academy staff! Youre awesome!

Great place to shop. All of the staff members are friendly and helpful. The employees behind the gun counter are very knowledgeable about the firearms displayed and give detailed information about the firearms upon request. Not one bad experience at this store, will definitely be shopping here in the future.

Went in during the Christmas holidays and all the clothing isles where packed unable to Walk around with a customer or another cart in the way, but they have a great selection of items for all.

Hubby has trouble finding shoes in large and wide sizes 😣. We walked out with 2 pairs!

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The prices on some items are very good but on other items way too high. The nearly $200 pair of Ariat boots that I bought about a month ago had a display but no boots and I needed to warranty my pair of boots out cause Ariat boots are not very well made. I am very disappointed!
