He can diagnose most problems by just listening to the vehicle. He is honest; his prices are fair; and he is dependable. He runs his business himself and supervises his employees so repairs are done in a timely manner. I have confidence in David.

I have used multiple centers in the past, never felt as if I was told the truth or given a fair price because, women are often taken advantage of in the automotive industry. David Smith has changed my outlook, he was very professional, provided estimates and listed repairs in order of priority. I was driving alone through my hometown, Vicksburg, on my way to pick up my daughter and granddaughter when my 2011 Subaru Outback started flashing the brake and warning light. Knowing that there was no Subaru dealership in Vicksburg, I began to panic. My husband found on Google that David Smith was an authorized Subaru mechanic. He had called David from our home in Shreveport to tell him of my dilemma and that I would be on the way. When I drove into the parking lot, David personally came out to greet me. He had a parking lot full of vehicles to work on, but dropped everything he was doing to check out and test drive my car. Since it was extremely hot outside, he asked me to wait in his air conditioned office, where I visited with his lovely wife. In no time, he added some brake fluid and cleared me to drive, but cautioned me to get new brake shoes when I got back to Shreveport. David said there would be no charge for his services. I thank God for leading me to his auto shop. DAVID SMITH AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR is the BEST EVER!!!

David Smith Auto is awesome! He has repaired my familys cars and trucks for years. I have never been unsatisfied with his work.

I had my truck taken to David smith automotive to repair a leak. The leak was fixed after replacing the line. I also had a call later on that day other things were changed without my knowledge. I agreed and also had spark plug and boots done along with other services. It wasn’t 1 day later I developed a small leak once again took it back on warranty to get fixed. I was then charged for a intake gasket without my knowledge another $200. Once again wasn’t 2 days later and another leak and even worse it’s leaking in the engine white smoke indicates oil or coolant I checked under truck and it’s coolant. I then have to take a 3rd day off work to have it repaired. I will not pay another dime to them for any services. I think your better off letting a 2 year old work on it than him and his mechanics. David Smith is the worst auto mechanic place there could possibly be! The guy is a snake and a crook save yourself time off work and take it somewhere else where it will be repaired correctly!!!

David Smith is a crook and is only looking to pocket your money, not take care of all of your car needs. His business looks more like a used car lot rather than a car repair business. It is only a matter of time until he closes for good, due to his lack of car repair knowledge and work ethic. Would not recommend.
