Great location and the lady that helped me was awesome. I rented a van to help in my relocation to AL and it was an easy and effortless experience. I will consider this location if I ever need to rent again.

This is the first one star review I’ve ever given.Uhaul cancelled without our notice and did not care, leaving us in the coldWe rented a 15 ft truck weeks before a cross city move from this Vestavia location. The day before, we got a call saying the pick up location was at True Value in Helena AL. When we get there, the True Value reps said it was not available due to a mishap with another customer and to call to find a location where we could pick up our truck. When we called the Vestavia store to find out truck, they said our reservation had been cancelled. When? By whom? They could not tell us (????) but said there was a cancellation email (but we never received an email— our emails only tell us to go to TrueValue). So we are left without a truck and without an apology.When we try to make a new reservation, the closest option was a 30ft truck a 3 hour round trip away.U-Haul permanently lost a customer.

Sabrena was fantastic to deal with. She went out of her way to help me find a truck on short notice.

Outstanding service. The day I visited, the manager was working through an issue with their alarm. Despite what was surely a stressful situation, she provided prompt and courteous service and bent over backwards to help us out with our rental. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you!

The employee we saw at pickup was very nice. Per our contract, we rented the uhaul from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, but this kind employee told us we could turn it in before opening the next day (7am). We returned at 6:45am, and Sabrina was very rude and charged us for 2 days. (We only had the uhaul for 12 hours.) When I explained the situation, she just kept stating to “read the contract”. I’m aware of what the contract said as I made the reservation, but when an employee tells me differently, I take their word. Very disappointed.

Wonderful staff great, clean and cool storage facilities

I have rented from this location numerous times. Without fail, and consistent on each and very rental, the manager Sabrena, and the staff have been polite, extremely helpful, open to suggestions, and overall, a joy with which to work. Not once have I ever had an issue. I would recommend that potential new customers overlook the one-off bad review because everyone has a bad day now and then. Big picture, Sabrena and the crew will bend over backwards to help any way they can. I will not rent from any other vendor or location if at all possible. Five Star service without a doubt.

I needed a dolly on short notice, Sabrena and her crew came through with flying colors. She was extremely courteous and very personable. Ill definitely be coming back to her for any future needs.

Sabrina and everyone else were absolutely great! Very nice and polite and helpful. The place is really nice and clean. Sabrina came out to our truck while we were unloading into our storage to do the paperwork to return the truck. She saw that we had our baby with us and wanted to help us get out of there faster! Would recommend to everyone!

Had been out of state and had bank account changes. Rent payment was late, fees and charges obviously apply. That is no problem and expected. Later when I came to access my unit, I discovered my key did not work. Several different employees told me they dont keep keys to units. I thought I was just crazy, and must have lost my key and magically had another U haul key on my key ring. I was told I had to hire a locksmith to get in. I did that, and $80 later I found my original lock drilled out inside the unit on the floor. When I told the Lady at the desk, she reached into a folder and pulled out my units keys, note this same lady told me they dont have keys to units. Offered no help or apology in any way. I would never recommend this facility

Sabrena is a wonderful manager who makes certain that her store operates efficiently and professionally. Everyone there has been courteous and helpful. We had a great experience. Will definitely do business with them in the future... Highly recommend!

My head gasket on my truck blew. I need a truck for work and they have the best rates in town. The staff are very helpful too. I never had a bad experience with this uhaul.

General Manager Sabrina is rude, mean and disrespectful! She loves to hang up on customers, and over charge them. Don’t do business with her ever. Just plain nasty. She uses her authority in the wrong way manner. Not fit to manage anyone!!

Nice employees, bad prices who which constantly went up.

The worker Paul at this location lied about a free month when he overheard me and my sister talking about taking our things to another storage facility because they have a 1 month free promotion and he says so do we now fast forward a month later and I have late fees and liens in my property because he lied. You can never get anyone on the phone no matter what time of day it is. Also I have called corporate several times spoke with someone named David Reed who was very short and nasty because he kept saying you have to call the store and speak with them when I explained that no one is on the office when I get off at 6. Even though I was told they are there until 7. So I was told on Thursday that he would call me back by 1:00 that day to discuss this (remind you this is the guy who lied to me.) Still havent spoke with the manager at this facility and I thinks its because they know they messed up. So for 3 weeks I have been given the run around and still no district manager or nothing. I will say this how ever it turn out from thus point I WILL NOT NOR WILL I RECOMMEND THIS UHAUL COMPANY TO ANYONE! Now the lie is its only if you are moving one way (BUT WHO MOVES OUT OF STATE AND PUT THERE THINGS IN A STORAGE IT MAKES NO DENSE AT ALL!!!!!) Save your time and money and go to another place. The manager at the location up the street is worse his name is Antonio. Dont know why any of these people got into customer service cause clearly they are not cut out for this job. They say you pay for what you get so buyer beware this is what I got lesson learned thats for sure!!!!!!!

Great location. The employees are kind and very professional. I filled out my application online and when I got to the store I was in the rental truck in less than 5 minutes. This is always great when there is speedy service when moving is such a stressful time.
