Stopped in today to purchase some straw for garden mulch. The employees went above and beyond to locate the product for me. Excellent customer service as always. I stop in and shop at this store frequently and always will.

I have been shopping at this location for years. After today’s visit I will be bringing my business else where. Team leader was extremely rude and arrogant with me, even knowing I’m there several times a week for livestock product and knowing me by first name. I had placed an online order where one of the products we listed as in stock while ordering yet wasn’t actually in stock. While asking questions her responses were non helpful, rude, sarcastic, and uninformed. Apparently my business is not valued at this store I was also trying to use a coupon for stuff I picked up in store while there to get my online order. The coupon kept coming up as already used even though it wasn’t. Team leader was called over to help and even in this situation she could’ve cared less to be bothered. Told me to call customer service. Didn’t say sorry for the inconvenience. I hardly ever post negative reviews but leaving there I was extremely upset especially given I spend upwards of $200 there weekly and then often more. I will not be visiting this location again and am actually contemplating taking all my business elsewhere as a livestock owner. With the amount feed prices have gone up it won’t cost me anymore to go to Thompson’s Agway or Pleasant View Farms for feed and at least those places seem to value you as a customer no matter how small the order is. In addition to all of this I have noticed that most or the shelves are bare and this store is consistently out of product week after week even when the delivery comes in. I even know the days the trucks arrive with their deliveries. In the past year this location has gone completely downhill with a huge turn over of employees, it seems almost monthly. If I have to do business with tractor supply it will be at the Stafford or Enfield locations. I don’t care that this location is only five minutes away from me. I will only shop where I feel valued we w customer and where management has respect for their customers and won’t make it like it’s a burden to help them.

I visited the Vernon Ct store Saturday afternoon 8/29.Samantha and other employees really worked hard to make sure I walked out with the parts I needed. They are the most friendly and motivated staff Ive encountered in retail in a while. Im only mad they insisted I buy this bag of chocolate wafers! I ate most of the delicious treats before I got home!Thanks for the great service.

Its an okay place you wanna find something you may need for work or lawn work you will find it here most likely. A good selection on Dwalt power tools most of which are battery operated. You can find lawn mowers. You can also find outdoor wear or pet food. Clearly I feel its better that I list some of things you can get here just to give you a picture of the kinda store your going in. Now however I gave this store a 4 star rating because I do feel some other stores may be better in certain ways.

We were looking for a chicken coop. They do have them, but we didnt find the one we wanted. I did find the rocking camp chair and garden gloves. Lots of cool lawn decor, slip and slides, hammocks...browsed for a while. Helpful ...happy people work here.

Upon entering the store, my boyfriend and I spotted a 10 ft windmill lawn decoration. The price on the box was written in black marker...$149.99. There was a yellow clearance sticker on the back for $39.99. When we told the young man at the counter that we wanted it, he went out and scanned it. It rang up $199.99. He pulled off the clearance sticker and asked another gentleman for help. The other gentleman came up, rudely announced that it was the wrong sticker and said that he would sell it to us for $149.99. Not even an apology. Obviously we declined. I feel like you as a store made a mistake, which happens, but sell the item for the price thats listed. Ive never been to a store that didnt honor the price tag, and will make sure to continue doing business with the stores that will.

Love tractor supply! They have such a great variety of things. Cheap food for my farm animals and always my go to store for whatever else I need for them. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Love the house decorations they have too. Love country farm looking decorations. My kids always love going to tractor supply. We buy our chickens from there and recently we just bought a little above ground pool. Cant keep the kids out of it!! We all love this store great finds and great buys!!! They also have clothes and boots you can buy.

This tractor supply has a friendly and knowledgeable staff, they have always had what their online inventory has said theyd had, and if you call ahead they will hold items for you. They do pricematch so keep an eye out for that, and they also have their own sales with pretty decently priced items. They are not the cheapest around, but it is one stop shopping for a lot of your animals needs, as well as general equipment and clothing.

Decent quality stuff at decent prices. There is always at least one of the staff that knows whats what...... fairly unusual for 2019.

Todays trip was one of tagging along with my hubby. He was there to see if they carried a 50 long power washer hose.Apparently they did but not at the price that he felt was reasonable. $80 seemed a bit pricey for a replacement hose and he felt he could check other places for comparison sake.While he was busy, I browsed the clearance racks around the center of the store. (I was lucky not to have anything fall on me or bump into) Things were tight!I did find a cute red pear shaped lantern for a friends birthday gift. Itll look great on her porch or in her camper. As for price...if it hadnt been reduced I never would have bought it.

The woman at the cash register wore her face mask as a chin strap showing a disregard for the health of not only customers but also our nation as it will take us even longer to get on the other side of this pandemic.

I usually find what Im looking for here when it comes to trailing accessories, welding supplies and metal stock. Mower belts though that I have purchased have a short live vs OEM belts. Otherwise very good store.

I wish I could give more that 5 stars, because our experience today was excellent! Myself and 2 of my kids came into the store for a pair of work gloves and safety glasses. Nancy, the woman up at the front, is an incredible asset to your company. She is a one woman show up there, making sure everything was taken care of. She took the time out of her shelf stocking to help us find what we were looking for, interacted with both kids and even supplied our son with bubble wrap to pop around the store. He smiled from ear to ear and she was just as happy to do so. She will bring this branch of your company incredible success and return customers for sure, they will (as will I) be back to see Nancy. Thank you for an awesome experience!

Hard to find staff in this store if your looking to find things. Its definitely better than Home Depot if you need specialized bolts and nuts, or knobs.

Nice tractor supply. Some of the staff aren’t the friendliest but some are. There inventory is almost always wrong though.

Great place for hardware, yard equipment, and decorations. Prices are comparable to HD for most. I go regularly for Propane, as well as the portable veterinarian that is there at least monthly or bi-monthly (sometimes more often).

Great store. This particular location (Vernon, CT) is always well kept and the staff are recognizable, friendly and always helpful. TSC as a whole never stops amazing me. What they manage to carry in that small store is incredible. They have a little of everything in them. You need some nylon rope, a horse bridal, dog toy, welding helmet and toy for your nephews 5th birthday? No problem. While youre at it grab some new boots, lawn fertilizer, electric fence controller and some propane. Seriously, you name it and its there! Proves are fair as well. Whats not to love?

Great place for Farm/Ranch/Outdoor. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They have feeds, Animal care, clothes, toys, welding/workshop equipment and supplies, truck boxes, truck/tractor maintenance, trailer parts, batteries, chainsaws, ect.

Placed an order online for pick up. Went there, they did not ask for identification just my name. Someone else could have got my order. Not too pleased with lack of security

Ive reviewed others of this store but this one seems to carry a larger inventory then the Enfield store. Nice country knick knacks and the parts I was looking for were available. Also picked up the new style suet feeder (plugs).

I love that they have everything one would want for pets, the yard and even humans, and their prices are the best. I bought several trees, plants and bushes, seeds for the yard and other general hardware items.

I ordered a 30 Gallon Trailer Sprayer online for store pick up today, when I arrived they put it in the back of my vehicle. The gentlemen just put the item in my car and walked back in the store without ensuring that my product was the right one or damaged in anyway. When I got home I noticed that they had given me a rusted up trailer sprayer that someone had returned. The trailer sprayer even had water left in it. When I noticed what was given to me, my father came outside and realized that that was his Christmas gift and no longer wanted it or a new one from Tractor Supply. I am not sure how their employees didn’t realize that the invoice showed a $300 dollar product and they brought me out a returned and rusted product. Worst service I have ever received and will no longer purchase products from Tractor Supply in Vernon again. Their supervisor was a nice guy but didn’t offer much help or a decent discount to keep my business. If you are interested in any outdoor equipment for landscape work, go to Home Depot or Lowe’s, they rarely disapppint and offer a wider range of products.
