Just had a 500 gallon tank installed by Mike and he was fantastic. Double checked his work, made sure the tank was where we wanted it, hooked up the line and made sure our hot water heater was running before leaving. Great group of folks over there. Right from the start, Rick impressed us with his promptness, flexibility, and patience through MULTIPLE visits as we figured things out. When the time came for installation, Mike and Port were also prompt, efficient, and professional… Even while performing the piping install in pouring rain! When a scheduling change forced us to change our plans at the last minute, Patty in the main office was very helpful in getting us the professionals we needed when we needed them. In March of 2021 Superior Energy installed two 120 gallon propane tanks to power my Generac generator system.I got the cellular fuel gauge monitor that automatically sends a signal to the office if the tanks need a refill so even if Im on vacation and the power goes out Ill know that the generator wont run out of propane.Rick, my salesman, the install crew of Mike, Port, Steve G, Tom, and Patty in the office, were all great to work with and I recommend their services.

I cant speak highly enough of this company. My first introduction was Rick two years ago. Hes almost always available and quickly responds to voicemails when not. During installation of our generator they even took it upon themselves to coordinate the process with the other contractors. The generator finally became available and was put in place only a couple days before hurricane Henri was to arrive. I called Patty on Thursday hoping (even though it was short notice) they would be able to run the pipes from the tanks to the generator. Mike and Port were out the next day to make it happen. Even though the next day was a Saturday and the hurricane was imminent, Mike returned to fill our tanks and made sure we were ready. When the storm hit and we lost power, everything worked without a hitch.

Ive used Superior as my home supplier for nearly 23 years now and have always been satisfied with the delivery service. Earlier this week I noticed that my hot water heater was failing and decided to give them a shot for replacing the heater. Was fortunate enough to connect with Adam in the office directly and in short order, Rick and Steve were both out at the house to price out the replacement. Knowing that living without hot water is no fun, despite being fully booked with other jobs, they squeezed my replacement into the calendar the next morning. Steve, Mike, and Tom arrived a bit after 7:00 am this morning and I was back in business by 8:00 am. It wasnt cheap, but you get what you pay for - theyre good people and very focused on customer service which is what I value. Thanks!

Superior Energy wasnt the cheapest, Ill be honest. They werent the priciest, either, but if you have someone telling you they know a guy, Superior will cost more than that guy. However, from Steve, the salesman, to our installation expert Mike Miner, we knew we were getting expertise, experienced professionals, and great customer service. I mean, propane installation isnt something we wanted cheap for. We wanted experts and a guarantee of the work backed by a reputable company and that is exactly what we got! We shopped around, and decided to go with Superior Energy for our Propane needs based on high customer service ratings. Rick McCaffrey the Sales person, was great as he was the first person we met. Rick was knowledgeable, courteous, and explained the whole process to us. We got a date for our installation which was 3 weeks out, and met Mike Miner for our installation of tanks. He was also very knowledgeable and installed /connected 3 tanks with no trouble. We then had someone come out to fill the tanks, (did not get his name) who was respectful of our property. Lastly I talked with Patty who was informative about the billing process. She was friendly and helpful in explaining it to me. The whole process dealing with Superior was stress free, and would highly recommend them for your propane needs!

Mike, Rick, Buck, and Patty were all great to work with. Patty was polite on the phone when scheduling (and rescheduling) my propane tank installment. Rick showed up to my house a little early and was able to answer all of my questions; he even might have saved me a few bucks showing me the existing copper pipe could be modified rather than replaced. Mike and Buck installed the new propane tank and my new oven (including converting the range from natural gas to propane) without any trouble. Everything has been installed for a couple months now and I have had zero issues. Great job!

After speaking with several local propane companies, we decided to go with Superior Energy LLC for our new propane generator. What a wonderful experience this process has been with Superior Propane. I stopped into the office to start the process of getting my generator set up. The gals in the office were so kind, professional and helpful. Then I met Adam- he was Great! - very informative and so good at explaining things to me. (It is all new speak to me!) Then, by the time I got home, within an hour of my visit, the phone was ringing and it was their main salesman, Rick. So responsive, was actually able to get out to the house the next morning.What a wonderful experience, again! Rick spent over an hour with great details of what the job entails, answered a million questions ( I’m a details gal) and just had so many good options for how to move forward. He was willing to work with a few restrictions that I put in place ( personal preferences). Honestly, I cannot say enough about our entire experience with Superior - and with Rick especially. And a last comment pertaining to the CoVid safe practices- they were spot on in that regard, masked, distanced, respectful of any and all concerns. I have been a customer for 14 years and have always had great service with them, what made me post this is mostly two things.. First when I call the great staff that answer the phones they always solve the issues without having to put me on hold, they have been impowered to schedule repair and fill ups on the spot! when my wifes aunt lost power this past July storm Ann-Marie and others made sure her Generator propane tank was full during the storm! and after as she is handicap and needs power for a stair chair, and when a gopher dug a hole under my tank they where there to fill in the hole and level the tank no question asked, great company, Second reason unfortunately I am moving out of state, and during my house closing Ann-Marie made my fuel refund transition very easy. I recently purchased a rural home which has a generator fueled by tanks from Superior Energy LLC. The previous owner encouraged me to continue the contract and I can see why - theyre prompt, friendly and know what theyre doing. Very easy to do business with; they provided advice which saved me some money and will keep me as a long term customer. Happy to rely on them for such an important service.**Update - had an issue with the generator in early August and Patty at Superior energy was able to get someone out here quickly and during a storm. They verified all was well with the propane feed. Great timing as Eversource left me without power for five days. generator ran perfectly and they even came out proactively to make sure I wasn’t low on propane.These guys are fantastic.

Best customer service ever! We needed to get propane hooked up in our home for my new fireplace and Anne-Marie made it happen! I recently purchased a new home in Vernon, CT.I found myself in need of Propane fast. The tanks were empty and we were expecting family over this weekend. Ive known of Superior Energy because of the work theyve done for a family member. Patty has always been good answering questions and scheduling work. Rick handled the sales part of our job extremely well, working around our schedule, getting us the right unit to fit our needs and not over-selling. Early in the AM my wife woke me to tell me of a strange smell in the kitchen. We could not determine the origin of the smell. To be safe we called our propane supplier, Superior Energy. Within an hour there was a technician at our house. Using his instruments he checked for leaks out side the house at the tank and then inside the house at our hot water heater. He then pressure tested the entire system. During this time he continually told us what he was doing and why and answered all questions. He then gave us some advice on better placement of our CO alarms. At all times we felt we were being helped by a professional.We have had Superior Energy as our supplier for many years. In that time we have always found them to be attentive, helpful and professional. We are happy to be one of their customers.l.

Excellent service, from the office staff to the road staff/technicians, they could not be nicer or more efficient. I recently had my furnace cleaned and not only did he do that but he suggested and then the changed the batteries in the thermostat, something I hadnt even thought about, He also, without being asked, he checked my tank levels.

I contacted Superior Energy because I was switching from an electric stove to propane. From the first phone call to the finishing of the job, the service by all involved was fantastic. We had a wonderful experience with the installation of our gas logs. The salesman Rick explained all of our options and came to measure to ensure the right logs were chosen. The receptionist Patty worked with us to find a good install date. Mike did a great job and installed the logs. He explained in detail how to use them. I cant say enough great things about Superior. Ive been a customer for close to 20 years and everyone I deal with is friendly and professional. Recently I lost my hot water, and everyone I spoke with from Patty who answered my call and was incredibly helpful, to Rick who expedited the work to help my family, to Sam and Jeff who performed the install in record time, were so friendly and great to work with. 5 stars.

We had a great experience. Rick was very thorough with our initial consultation and outlining our options and pricing. He was also very friendly and very responsive when we had questions. Sam and Mike did a great job on the install, quick clean and professional. Last but not least, Patty was awesome to work with as we scheduled the job. We are very happy we switched to Superior!

My wife and I just called several weeks ago while looking for new propane service under the recommendation of a friend an old co-worker Bobby who works at Superior. Anne Marie was the first of many friendly and helpful staff who took my information and stated I would get a call back very soon. She was right, Rick called very shortly after and arraigned a meeting for an estimate on a Saturday, even though it was his day off, to make our schedules work. We agreed to service, especially with the excellent information and advice Rick provided. Patty was able to arrange service in a short time frame with Thanksgiving looming. On the day of installation, Mike and Jeff came out and did all the work in a timely and professional manner. Patty then was able to arrange Mike to come back out quickly, once our range finally arrived, to do the final install, as well as our new fireplace insert. We can not thank this team enough and are happy we choose Superior!

For once a company name accurately reflects their performance!!After calling a few of the more prominent propane suppliers and receiving lukewarm responses (maybe we can get a sales guy out there next week.. and I was inquiring about a completely new propane service for my home!) the next company on my call list was Superior.From the moment they answered, it was apparent Superior was different. Patty (who answered my call) was friendly and seemed genuinely interested in helping me. And, as I told her my story and needs it became apparent she had a great sense of humor as well! She listened, asked a few questions and promised her salesperson would call me later that day.Within minutes of finishing that call my phone rang; it was Superiors salesperson Rick!Rick immediately apologized for not being able to meet me that afternoon (keep in mind, my initial call to Superior was at 3pm on a Friday afternoon!) but asked a bunch of questions about my project and promised to meet me Monday morning.Rick arrived as scheduled, immediately began exploring the property and assembling the information he needed to understand the complete scope of work. I can say without exaggeration his focus on helping me understand the pros and cons of each of several options was incredible!After we agreed on the best path forward Rick went back to his office, reviewed the details with his technical folks and the next day I had a firm quote; a quote which (based against quotes for the inside plumbing I already had) was very competitive!Work included a 500 gallon tank set some 90 feet from the house, gas line from the tank to the house, piping to 5 different locations and conversion and connection of a range and dryer. A lot of work!The installation team was excellent; Sam (Samantha) was the lead and, working with Mike, she took care to insure the workmanship and execution of every detail met her standards. Rick even stopped by to insure everything was going smoothly and sent me a couple of progress photos!After installation follow-up was Superior as well! Patty called, Rick called and when I mentioned a minor aesthetic issue (one short section of pipe wasnt quite perpendicular and yes, probably no one but me would even notice it!) Sam returned and corrected it the next day!If youre looking for a new propane installation these folks are the ones to go to! They are Superior in every way!

Wonderful people and solid company to deal with. Patty in customer service goes above & beyond- always helpful and follows up to ensure everything is well. Mike M the technician fixed the furnace we thought couldnt get repaired and we are comfy in the house now that its cold outside! Not the type of place that will come around and top off your tank when prices are highest.... like the last company I did business with did.

Superior Energy installed a new fireplace log set for me, replacing an old one. All staff - Patty, James and Mike were all very pleasant to work with. All scheduling was done to my convenience, James, salesman, was very informative and Mike, installer, did a wonderful job. Very neat and was done in no time and made sure before he left that I understood how to use and maintain the new log set. Starting with our first visit to Superiors showroom in Vernon and through the completion of the job, Patty was friendly and professional. The salesman, Rick made appointments promptly and was punctual. He was very informative and easy to work with. When Rich came for the installation of our log insert, he explained what he was doing and did it promptly. Our overall experience was very positive.

Needed an instant hot water heater and called Superior as they installed a new propane gas tank for us in 2015. We scheduled an appointment for them to come out to review our needs. Rick arrived on schedule as promised and reviewed our needs and wrote up a quote, we sign off that same day. It took two days as planned to get the equipment. Mike ( installer ) and Bobby ( his assistant) arrived in the morning as schedule and went right to work having all the right tools to do the job quickly, efficiently and they were very friendly and pleasant. They called the inspector to come out and had it all set up so he arrived that afternoon and all passed so they could finish the hook up the following day. The quote said it would take two days due to inspection time. Mike arrived the follow morning on schedule and finished the work and reviewed how the system worked. Mike spent time answering all our questions and he was very knowledgeable of all aspects of the unit. It was especially nice as he took his time with us and didn’t make me feel like he had to rush off. In addition both Rick and Mike went out of their way to find a link to the web site for a $100 rebate that we qualified for which was a nice surprise . They were very professional and we plan to use Superior again for our next project of a new heating system as they are very reliable!

Had a great experience working with Superior Energy. We were shopping around for a propane log insert. We didnt know much about much... Rick, the salesman, was great from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable about the process and made sure to steer us the right direction. Mike, our technician, did the installation when he said he would! (unfortunately the pressurized line didnt hold & it failed inspection) none of that made a difference as he came back out that same day to fix the faulty valve). Patty, customer service, checked in with us several times, answering questions, making sure we were happy with the installation process, and checking in to see if we were enjoying what we purchased!We would certainly recommend giving this family owned company a call. They did a great job!

Fast and friendly service always with Superior! Our furnace motor had to be replaced at my work and they were quick to inspect, order, and install the new unit. Sam showed up right away in the morning to replace the motor and did an excellent job quickly getitng the new one in and making sure it worked.
