We decided to stop for ice-cream after a day at the beach. It was Very crowded (everyone else must have decided to stop too) and slow service (there are a lot of things to choose from). Ice cream was good and lots of variation to choose from. Eclectic feel to the shop. Guy serving ice cream in a cow outfit was great! They serve Herseys ice cream and have flavors from when I was a kid. Superman, orange pineapple and such. They servers were friendly and we would stop again.

We had a great time here! We loved how inclusive they were. Not only did have tons of different flavors of icecream, they also had vegan options. They had multiple vegan flavors to chose from made with different types of non dairy bases. The 4 different flavors we tried were all delicious! It was a very cute eclectic store with very nice staff. Would go again, even though its a little bit of a drive for us.

Love Scoops! Friendly folks and delicious ice cream and treats. Butterscotch Explosion is a particular favorite. Theyre really good on their promos and keeping in touch if you get on the loyalty program.

Fun place, huge selections premium of ice cream and gellato. Lots of standard, unusual, and kid flavors available in cones, dish, sundaes, malts, shakes, etc. Nostalgic signs and games everywhere. Friendly staff. Definately family friendly.

Looked at all the reviews online so we tried this place. Honestly, we won’t go back. First of all the place just feels dirty. It is filled floor to ceiling with junk. Looks like somebody emptied a thrift store onto the walls. No reason to the design, just junk. I understand trying to create a fun atmosphere considering it is an ice cream shop, but there’s a fine line between fun and freaky. This place definitely was the latter. Then there’s the smell. Let’s just say, it smells like a hippie and leave it at that.😉 I can look past the decor and even the smell if the ice cream was good. Unfortunately like the smell, it was just bad. Not bad as in expired or anything, just lacking flavor. I was expecting more from a place that advertises itself as “homemade” ice cream. But as I was leaving I noticed they razored the word “homemade” off the signage on their door so, yeah guess it’s not really homemade - at least the ice cream part isn’t 😉. Overall the staff was friendly but with everything else going on, friendly staff isn’t a reason to come back. It aims to be a trendy and fun place for a scoop, but falls short on the execution - leaving the customer with a lackluster experience and a tasteless product. There are many other options around with better tasting ice cream served in a cleaner and more welcoming environment.

I was here a few days ago, the ice cream was EXTREMELY good. They have a lot of flavors to choose from and very good prices. I seriously cant wait to go there again!

I purchased a medium soft swirl in a cup. The cup was very small and was only half filled. This was the smallest amount of soft serve I have ever seen, and it cost over 4 dollars. You can get twice the ice cream at McDonalds for a dollar. For the same price you get ten times the amount of ice cream at Culvers.

Their ice cream is absolutely delicious and their service is great but they say they open at 12:30 I have been sitting outside for over a half hour to see if theyd open. Really disappointed.

Lots of different flavors of ice cream and a whole lot of candy too. I was left wanting more because I went with the 2 scoops and my choices were Cotton Candy and the double chocolate chip. There had to be at least close to 30 other flavors to pick. I have to get back there and just let the button out on my pants and prepare myself for a brain freeze or two.

Had our family of 13 looking for an ice cream shop while on vacation in Florida, when we came across this little & unique shop that everyone LOVED! LARGE selection, reasonable prices & perfect for our family! We will be back!!!

We really enjoyed the ice cream here. It is a quaint and quirky little place, with very fun retro games as decorations. They sell all kinds of flavors or ice cream as well as gelato various sundaes ice cream treats and fun cones. They also have CBD ice cream if you are into that kinda thing. The staff is wonderful and helpful particularly when my daughter dropped her ice cream. We will be back next time we visit this area, for sure.

I use to come here at least 2 times a week. I just left frustrated without an ice cream cone.When I first entered the store no one was in there just the girl behind the counter. She was on the phone telling someone that she was getting gas blah blah. She then gets off ths phone after 5 minutes and told me it would be a few minutes more. I was waiting patiently on her and knew what I wanted. Then a guy walked in behind me and he was waiting onher also. She then asked me if I knew what I wanted or should she wait on the other guy. I said ten minutes what is another 2 minutes go and wait on him. I walked out very frustrated for her ignorance. I will never go back there again and they lost a great customer. She needs to be aware that she is working a job and her job is to serve the customer. Not gossip on the phone!

The Ice Cream is DELICIOUS and the employees are super awesome. They have younger employees but they are all super awesome. The manager/owner is super cool and I enjoy talking to her when ever she’s in. Out of all the ice cream places in Venice this place is hands down my favorite and it isn’t even close.

Scoops is quickly becoming a favorite place since we moved here! The young man working tonight asked everyone how their weekend was, carried on friendly conversation, not getting flustered when they suddenly got busy. I loved the Dark Chocolate Raspberry Truffle, hubby loved the Royal Turtle. Made our evening to sit outside on the rockers and enjoy our cones while chatting with strangers about this beautiful place!

I look forward to getting a treat from them whenever I can!Only one staff-member, so service was slow, which is fine. She was pleasant, and did her best, and that happens. BUT - staff was wearing a mask around chin, in a relatively small enclosed shop space, which is obviously very bad in the current events. I cant wait for COVID to pass on so that doesnt matter, but right now it does.

The ice cream here was good! The atmosphere of the place was cool - it had tons of cows and lots of cool things to interact with. The tables had activities for people to do (like juggling with a book on how to juggle). I ordered a pint of the Junk in the Trunk - it was supposed to be vanilla but it tasted minty, which I dont like very much. In addition, I asked the cashier twice for cookie dough pieces to be added - the first time she tried giving me a scoop of cookie dough ice cream and the second time she just put Oreos on it. It just seemed like a hassle to fix at the time.

We visit Scoops every single time we come to Florida! We are from Illinois and we always look forward to it. The owner is SO kind and even sent us home with a sample to give to my parents. Please please please consider visiting if you are anywhere near Scoops. They have an incredible selection, kind employees, vegan options, Italian ice, and so much more. This place is so unique and everyone should treat themselves to a dessert at Scoops!

Very nice staff and great treats!

Ice cream was not good. 5 of us got cones with 2 scoops it cost $39.00!! Thats about $8 a cone! With tax I paid $42 and some change. The ice cream was ok but the cones were very old and stale. Litteraly inedible. Worst $42 Ive spent in a long time.

What a fun place. The owner (Im assuming thats who she was) was full of spunk. Very nostalgic decor which made it more fun. They have sugar, waffle and the basic cones and bowls. You have your choice of naked or dressed in both. The dressed are dipped in chocolate and some have jimmies aka known as sprinkles to non New Englanders. Shakes and frappes to decide upon. Even CBD Italian ice. A little pricey but was a great experience.

I got food poisoning. heard the two ladies mention rotten boba after i already drank it. workers were rude and said “ew that’s gross” when i selected my boba with oreos in it. my father got an icecream cone and the cone was so freezer burnt it tasted like it had absorbed everything in the freezer.-as a reply to your response:i did not say the icecream was freezerburnt- my dad says the cone was and i didn’t believe him until i tried it.- secondly, my server was friendly and i made sure my dad left a tip for her. the woman leaving who made the snarky response was less, however i understand it could have been a bad day for her as we all have.-lastly, both me and lily have been getting boba for the past three years and have never had a problem. both me and my little cousin had some of the worst stomach aches we’ve never had and we both had the same order. minus the oreos on her part. as for the “rotten boba” part- my cousin said she heard you two talking in the back.-i love supporting small businesses such as yours, but the experience personally was not the best for my family and i. for anyone who wants icecream in a dish i do recommend because it was very creamy and delicious.lily and i wish the best for you and your company.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE what Kat did with this place !! Venice so desperately needs more owners like Kat! She’s created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you want spend all day there ! She added incredibl CDB ice cream items as well as Boba tea! I will be stopping today for sure! Would love to see the introduction of more coffee products! Would love to stop by in the morning for some CBD cappuccinos ! I HIGHLY recommend this place for everyone but especially millennials looking to escape that island, snowbird stuffy feeling.
