Excellent Tool & Hardware Supply Store. If you need a nut bolt screw washer they have it! Five Star Products usually five star service period I have had some issues where I walk in and its 10 minutes before I am greeted because theres a conversation going on between another Patron and an employee or theres nobody at the front counter and I got to bang some stuff around to get somebody up there.

I searched this entire town for self tapping bolts and half the hardwarestores and auto part supply companies didnt even know what that was. I found Vancouver Bolt by accident searching for a Portland based fastener supply company and not only did they have what I needed but great friendly service as well. They sell more than just bolts they also have more tools than even Sears does. Im making this store my new place to go for all my repair needs.

A young guy was at the counter. He has no clue about bolts. He was finding the tipe of thread using nuts...cmon man, lost my time there. I would say tool-suplay or DeWalt dealer, they have a lot of them. If u need bolts go to Parkrose Hardware!!

I have only been to Vancouver Bolt one time, but my experience was not only excellent technically, but also uplifting spiritually. Heres why.My wife and I bought a patio set from Fred Meyer in the spring of 2014 and assembled three of the four chairs. I dont remember why we didnt finish the fourth, but we didnt.This week we undertook to put the last one together and on the very first step we ran into a snag. The chairs have spring frames that are joined across the bottom rear, and when attempting to attach the cross-bar we found that one of the bolts simply would not turn after going into the bar about a half inch. We determined that the other bolt would screw into both ends of the cross-bar all the way, so it was not a mis-tapped hole in the bar.We called Krogers furniture subsidiary who basically said, You didnt assemble it immediately so its out of warranty and besides, we dont have the parts; call the manufacturer. In China. Rotsa ruck on that.My wife knew of VBS and sent me down there to get a replacement bolt. I dont know the name of the gentleman who served me but we had a pretty humorous interaction about that intransigent bolt which looks perfectly good in a magnifying glass. No barbs or flattened threads; just not gonna do it! He went in the back for about a minute and came back with a matching pair which were screwed beautifully into the cross-bar.When I went to get out my credit card -- Im not used to carrying cash any longer and I just forgot to get some from the ATM -- he said, No, just do something nice for someone you dont know. Im sure that for an industrial supply firm the transaction probably would have taken all the revenue for the two bolts and more, so it was a smart business decision. But adding the pay it forward showed what a genuinely good person he is.
