Visited this store today for the first time. I was amazed with the section and prices. Friendly staff helped me make my selection. Celene helped me pick out my item. Couldnt ask for a friendly experience. They have everything you could ever want. If you have not been there... Your missing out

I would give them more stores if they didn’t always try to Jack up prices. They charge $54.99 for a 5 pack of OPMS black, yet if you go to Mary Janes right next door or High 5; or almost any other shop in Vancouver/Portland and that same 5 pack is only $37.99. If you reach out to OPMS they even say that Gold and Black retail for the same price. I’ll use Jiffy Mart as a last resort but you can usually find everything they sell for cheaper at high 5 in Vancouver. It will be the exact same product, just about 50% of the price.

Selene is AMAZING (sorry if I spelled that wrong!), but these new girls need to be a little better educated on products, as one tried to convince both myself and hubby that BICs are refillable when we were looking for a refillable lighter. We called her on it, and I ended up getting one anyway, and upon inspection, it was, in fact, a DISPOSABLE BIC. I have had zero issues while Selene works, but every time I deal with anyone else, they treat me like my 40 year old @$$ was born yesterday. I dont like going in when Selene isnt working, but because Selene is awesome, yinz get 4 stars.

This was my very first time into Jiffy Mart and I do have to say that I was in and out in a jiffy! I myself couldnt find anything that I was looking for but I didnt have to wander around aimlessly like normal because one of the nicest sales associates ever noticed I needed help and knew exactly where everything I needed was. They are currently following all COVID-19 procedures. Ill definitely be back!

Glass, glass, glass! And beer. And a nice selection of both at that! 👌 Heck, they even had free t-shirts. Ill admit, until most recent visit Id only been in here a time or two, neither of the visits were within the past 5 years. Today I went in for a glass tube to practice blowing pipes..Id heard they were cheaper and had a better selection than MJs next door. Both true. As for the store itself, it was clean, organized, and openly spaced. Im not claustrophobic or anything, but I move a lot and get worse road rage walking in stores than I do driving.. notta problem here.

So, this is my second HOS review. The first being for the Salmon Creek shop, and this one for the Jiffy Mart location in good old Hazel Dell - The Land of Cops With Nothing To Do and Staggering Suburb Of Sh*try Strip Centers. Bottom line is that the staff is accommodating, the store is clean(ish), and they have whatever you may seek in the way of sin. I would give this chain a five star rating but will instead allow four, when my heart and mind would actually be stretched to give it two and a half. This is 100% due to the absentee owner of the business. The reason being that I purchased a small glass weed pipe from HOS in Salmon Creek for $4.99 + tax and within a couple of hours ( and after I had posted a glowing five star review here, I managed to let it slip from my hand and it broke neatly into four pieces. Within 24 hours I returned with it to the store and explained what happened and requested a replacement in exchange for an amendment to my Google review as well as ongoing great word of mouth referrals. Long story short, TOO LATE 🤔, the girl working could not grant my request and after a phone a 3 or 4 minute conversation with the owner, I walked away with a second identical $5 pipe to keep its unused and broken compadre company. The owner blatantly refused despite my hand in hat and very polite and well stated plea. I have worked in sales and marketing for 30 years and all I can say is that the joker who owns HOS is a very uncompassionate, unwise, and stubborn dude. With him the customer certainly is not right and the sale of another $5 pipe is much more important in his genius mind than the cost of future customer acquisition. Shame ON him for his complete and utter lack of customer satisfaction and pity FOR him for his shortsighted and profit driven idea of how to handle customer dissatisfaction. I wish I could afford to not shop his establishments, but hell, they had $20 bottles of wine for $2.99 lol. 🤫

This place is definitely not my favorite store because they have a no returns/refunds policy that they strictly adhere too, even when the situation would compleatly call for it at almost any-other store....nonetheless, they do have a great selection of headshop-type items for very reasonable prices, along with all your other basic convenience store items. So all-and-all its a decent store worth checking out if you need a waterpipe and pack of smokes or a soda and bag of chips.

Great service but Im really upset with the company. Ive spent A LOT of money in this store every month. First, the product that I buy, went up in price by 20%. Then they stopped giving their 10% discount on that product. They were already the most expensive store in Vancouver that sells this particular product. Now the price is ridiculous. Its literally double the price you can get it online. I bought it here out of convenience. No more. They lost a very loyal customer who has bought from them for several years.
