Well-appointed marketplace. Super friendly shop owner offering a great variety of items and reasonable prices. Remains my favorite vintage shop in the Vancouver and sounding area.

This is such a cute place and they even have a popcorn machine/free popcorn while you browse! In addition, the staff is very friendly and helpful and you never feel pressured or intimidated to buy anything at all. Anyways, as i was browsing, I discovered an awesome-looking old rustic wooden chest that I could not keep my eye off. However, I was struggling to decide wether or not I was going to buy it because the paint on the outside of the chest was bothering me. One of the owners (I believe to be)offered to take it to her home and remove the paint for me. I decided to buy it-no brainer. Even more, I was given a nice little discount. It looks amazing in my house. Thank you! This is definitely a place to check out!

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst experience I think I’ve ever had on a phone call with a retailer...definitely top 5. I’m assuming she was the owner? But she was condescending, rude, not helpful at all and hung up on me at the end of the call when I told her what I wanted for my antique vanity. I love antiques and I happen to spend a lot of money in vintage stores but she will NEVER get my business. Look elsewhere for a friendly experience.

This shop used to be a favorite when in downtown Vancouver. Unfortunately the new location and the new management is very unfriendly (not even a hello when we walked in). Luckily the owner of the piece we were measuring was in the store and she was very helpful. I think some positive energy injected back into the store would do it wonders.

If you have a medical condition (doctors note and all) that prevents you from masking this place DOES NOT CARE! They are actively discriminating against people with disabilities. I have a condition that prevents masking so I wore a restaurant food mask and was still refused service. Watch out if you are vulnerable you will not be welcome!

Just a wonderful shop! The owners, Tammy and Tony, are so helpful and funny. I cant wait to come back!edit: Aug 2018. I am sad to see this shop drop significantly - and quickly - in quality. The new staff is unfriendly and the older woman behind the counter could be heard talking ill of the people whose wares shes hired to sell. I hope the owners see these reviews and do some quick fixes to bring back the fun and joyful spirit.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I love the layout, not overcrowded with just stuff everywhere, but nicely displayed clean feel all around. Well definitely go back.

Interesting assortment of items. Could use to either fill up the store with more items, or have a smaller store. The place is HUGE inside and despite having a fair amount of item variety, the lack of usage per square foot feels like they dont have as much as they actually do.

The owner needs to be more genial & courteous to the people who are making money for her. I asked her several times if she would send me my check. A week later, no check. I called again & asked but still no check in the mail. Finally, I drove down there (30 miles each way) to pick up my check. Not reliable and not friendly. Wont ever deal with her again.

There was an interesting selection of old furniture. I always appreciate people who are trying to make it in a brick-and-mortar setting.

The previous review from 3 Steps Entertainment has the wrong Vintage Place listed. She is talking of House of Vintage not Main Street Vintage.. 2 different stores two different owners. Please update your review. Main Street is an awesome store and so are the owners.

Customer service is rough around the edges. They can be curt and dismissive when talking about pricing.
