They had the part I needed plus very nice show room of lawn sized tractors and accessories

Overall the people have been helpful here other than ordering a chain saw last fall that I never received a call back on and had to buy elsewhere. The reason for my review is for others to beware of service prices. For annual lawnmower service their $259 special doesnt include another $100 to drive 4.6 miles for the service. Maybe a misunderstanding that it was part of the mower service but that doesnt change the fact that competitors in town are literally 1/3 of the price.

Great Customer Service.Bought a Honda Mower from them, had a problem with it. Called the service department and told them about it. They got me right in and fixed the problem no questions asked.

Brought in a lawnmower tire for repair and I was in and out within 15 minutes. Thanks to Bryan for the quick service!

I just had my x738 delivered to me this morning at 9 am by Jason. I wanted to let your company know that Jason is one of the best people I have ever dealt with! He was always helpful to my needs, and made sure I was happy and satisfied with my purchase, before and after the sale. I have dealt with many different sales personnel in my past, but Jason is definitely one of the best in the midwest! I will continue to deal with VanWall as long as Jason is still working there!! I dont trust many people in sales. I used to be afraid of sales people because of the pressure that is present in almost every business! Jason is different an never pressured me on this sale. Instead, he worked with me on the price and made sure everything was correct during the sale.

Repaired my mower. No call to let me know it was ready for pick up. No masks to be seen in the entire service group at time of drop off or pick up. Has anyone one heard of just a small deadly pandemic that is ravaging Iowa? Irresponsible.

Helpful employees and fast service!

Had scheduled to have my mower and power washer picked up for service. Driver showed up at 730, left a curt message and left before I could get outside to deliver the equipment. Wouldn’t recommend, I’ll be going somewhere else to have my small engines serviced. I called three times before leaving this review.

We had a very bad experience at the Urbandale Van Wall store. We walked into the store at 1:45 on Friday, 9/1/17 to discuss buying a tractor. We walked around the showroom for at least 30 minutes and no one acknowledged that we were there, then spent another 15 minutes outside looking at the equipment. We watched a sales person talking to a couple in his office who made no attempt to let us know he would be with us after he was done with the couple, not even a nod. We tried to find out how to be helped by talking to the man at the service desk who told us there was a 2nd sales person working that day, but never offered to find the second sales person who wasnt in the showroom. It would have been nice for someone to at least acknowledge us. I guess Van Wall doesnt need our business and customer service in not a priority in this store. We made a special trip, took a half day off, drove 30 miles to Des Moines and waited for approx 45 minutes for nothing. What a waste of our time.
