My husband just went here and they refused to do diagnostics that they literally have on their website that they do like check the battery. Their excuse? because of COVID regulations. Why don’t you guys put on a mask and do your job.I even called to confirm they do this testing within the past week. The only explanation I can think of is that not every location does testing and that this one is strictly a retail location, but I don’t think that’s the case.What poor customer service when we could have replaced the battery with them if they had bothered to check it.

A shout out to Bryce. Customer service like his is why I keep coming back to Autozone. I needed a new battery today and felt bad, but grateful when I accepted the offer to install my new battery for free. Why did I feel bad? Because it was -4 degrees. Bryce cheerfully checked me out, put on his coat, hat and gloves and went to work. In no time he replaced my old battery with my new one and I was on my way. Bryce was curteous, friendly and eager to help. He saved me some seriously cold fingers and toes had I had to install it myself.What a pleasant experience. Thanks Bryce and Autozone!

About what youd except for an autopar5s store.

Came in and needed help with a headlight and battery. Logan helped me and got it fixed in no time. Highly recommend coming here. Great customer service

I stopped here to get a new headlight bulb and asked if he had any tips for me to replace. He said “nope! They aren’t easy.” and walked away. Definitely didn’t meet my expectations of great customer service. He at least could have used a nicer tone of voice.

Deb offered fantastic service checked my battery alternator and starter getting us back on the road quickly! I Would drive out of my way to stop here for parts. Excellent customer service! They were busy but each customer was greeted and helped efficiently. On a single digit temperature day, the staff was helping several customers, myself included, replace windshield wipers (& other things) with a smile. Great job!

Great Uti store

Excellent service. Didnt catch the name of the individual that helped me, but he was fantastic. Polite greeting with a smile upon entrance into store. Took me to the exact parts I needed. He was also very courteous and helpful to a young woman who needed help with her car.

Great service

The employees are always knowledgeable and helpful. They dont complain if asked to check the error code when your dash light comes on, or to check your battery and alternator. They will even swap out your battery for you so you dont have to do a thing! The only reason for a 4 star and not 5 is that they are usually busy with just 2 people working, so end up waiting for an extended time to get helped.

I would have to say this is the best AutoZone in the area! Desmond has got to be the best one here and he knows all his stuff and actually goes out of his way to take care of the customer and treat them like they should be treated, not something you see every day. I suggest when you come here you ask for Desmond for the best experience possible!

Really appreciate the help this store provides. Installing headlights, wipers, batteries, etc. - I have not been disappointed and have been coming to this store for quite a while. Also, they provide great service with battery testing and check engine light.

Kind of pricey but the staff is wonderful!

Prices are a bit steep. Especially considering that I was not provided any decent customer service. Employees ignored my presence till I was standing in front of them to checkout. When I inquired about a part they were both less than enthusiastic to attempt to provide me with an accurate answer. Probably going to avoid auto zone and buy what I need through Amazon.

My check engine light came on and they ran a diagnostic and what it came back with saying I needed to fix(the part) doesnt even exist on my particular car for one.... Two, it was a $300 part and I was able to get a family friend to fix the issue for under $30. Thanks a lot AutoZone.

The guys here are all really helpful. They do get busy at times but once they get the chance to help you their service is top notch. More than just a parts store if you ask me.

The people were super friendly. The gal at the desk looked up what number of windshield wiper blades I needed and pointed me to where they were in aisle 3. And a gentleman was kind enough to put them on for me.

My check engine light came on so I want to AutoZone because I heard they could help. In under 5 minutes they scanned the code my car was giving, told me it was due to starting the car while the gas tank was off, and that it would turn itself off in 10 starts of the engine. Didnt try to sell me anything and did the check for free!

Great variety of products. Curt was very helpful in finding what looking for but when came to actual help in gttg a product after spending good ammt of money - to fit it in my car - was told would have to wait til done with another customer and waited 32 minutes to be told per mgr no they cannot help someone outside the store after watched them help others outside during time I waited. Mgr was rude twice dont know if was fact am older customer but felt like it. Worst retail experience in my whole adult life. Never will go to Urbandale location again.

They werent very helpful at all.I think they thought I was stealing or something. I was in there almost a hour and they didnt even acknowledge me.

Went in to look for a new screw for my license plate. Flat out asked for help because I didnt know what I was looking for. Woman at the front desk shrugged, pointed me at aisle 5 and said I should find what I was looking for there, then disappeared and I couldnt get anyone to help me.Wont be back.

They were able to read the codes and had a part ready in 15 minutes

Super helpful and knowledgeable staff, they helped me identify which belt was squeaking and pointed out that they were all cracking. All cheap and easy to replace, there was a small mix up in which I was given the wrong belt but it all ended up getting sorted out.

I took in a 5 month old Duralast battery for warranty. It says Duralast on the side, which is what they sell. It has a shipping date label. The store manager said I put different stickers on and its not their battery. Ok, Ill never shop AutoZone again.

They exchanged an oil filter for me no problems.

Went to get a new altinator for my car and they gave me a junk one as a replacement. Didnt even test it to make sure it was good. Now I have to drive back and I dont like too close to an AutoZone, and pick up another one. The managers response was just sorry. Doesnt help that the part was put in and has to be taken off again.

I was unable to clear my check engine light at the first location due to bad instructions at this first store I went to, at the store on 63rd St., closer to where I live, they did it for me when I asked. Plus, I also found the CatyClean product for which I was looking where the other store did not have it.

Worst car parts store ever they had a girl who doesnt know how to change a battery try to change ours for 30 min. Another time we were looking for a bearing and they guy in the store didnt even make an effort trying to find a bearing for us. He said that he would have to look through each and every bearing to find one and that would take him a week. We got in our cars and pulled out of the lot and as we were doing so he walked out to his car and left as well. He just wanted to leave rather than help a customer. We went down to oreilys and the guy made it his mission to find the bearing and he did.
