I had a similar experience as another woman posted - I am feeling we were deceived & taken advantage of because we are women. My car had extreme shaking/vibration. I knew I needed new tires but felt there may be something else wrong so I went to this AAMCO since it was close to my work & I could drop it off & walk to work. Eric was amazingly accommodating & nice. I liked & trusted him - big mistake. He came back telling me that my car needed $2k+ worth of work including replacement of axle & hub assembly, replacement of control arms & bushings & of course he recommended new tires which I was already aware of. Luckily I was not approved for their credit account because had I been, I would have gotten all that work done. Instead I had to leave, work on other ways of paying for the repairs & during that time, was strongly advised to get a 2nd opinion. I was reluctant because I felt Eric was being honest & trustworthy but decided it would be best to get a 2nd opinion. Well, I was brought under my lifted up car & shown that there were NO suspension problems whatsoever & told that new tires alone would solve the problem. Got new tires that day & they were right - car is driving great, no more shaking or vibration! I am just disgusted & feel totally betrayed! Obviously the Mr Nice Guy routine is a scam. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS SHOP!!!

I took my 2011 F150 to AAMCO out of frustration with Ford Motor Company. Ford had issued a recall with their F150’s manufactured at their Kanas City and Detroit plants during a certain timeframe. My F150 fit into that timeframe but was somehow excluded from the recall. Although I was experiencing the same problem’s describe by the recall.my transmission experienced hard shifts soon after purchasing my truck. Later on while driving on the freeway my truck downshifted from 6 gear to 2nd gear on its own. I took my truck to the local Ford dealership and was informed that they did not have a transmission specialist and had just hired a specialist who would not start for two weeks and that there was a backlog of vehicles waiting for him. I decided that Ford did not take responsibility for their problematic transmission and took my truck toAAMCO. AAMCO diagnosed my transmission problem that same day. It was expensive fix (new transmission) but well worth it and my truck runs great. I’m very happy with the service that I received and very disappointed with the treatment that I received from Ford after being a customer for almost 25years.
I really appreciated getting my car fixed here! They were timely with updates throughout the process and even finished the repairs earlier than estimated! They care about their work and had me do a check up 10 days after. The guys there go above and beyond to explain everything and meet ones needs. I really appreciate their customer service and will definitely return!

Have to give it up to these guys phenomenal work. Eric the GM took very good care of me after coming in from a shawty place Eric was able to remedy the bad work and fix my problem. They have earned my business thats for sure and were $200 cheaper than my previous quote. Thanks again guys its not easy to find honest mechanics definitely will be coming back.

No issues with their customer service it just seems the work was done poorly they Diagnose the problem told me what needed to be done had them do the work car still hasnt been the same since paid to much to be disappointed

Eric and the crew are really professional. They get you in and out and never have you waiting for a long time. They don’t over charge you for things and they try their best to accommodate your schedule if you have to work and things like that. They also do amazing work on your vehicles. They find the problems and they fix them with no bs. I highly recommend them to anyone.
BEWARE!!! So the guy I dealt with was very nice. Told him the issues I was having, let him know it’s a must U drive my car on The freeway cause it’s a different story then just driving on regular streets. He told me what the issue was motor mounts trans mounts. I’m like I just had my motor mounts done year before last maybe they were cheap parts even though now I reflect it wasn’t making the loud thump when I stop cause the engine was pushing forward. But I trusted! He said there was no trans issue cause no code came up. Allowed the repairs. Get my car back he said the shaking that was going on is 50% fixed!?. It was still the same shaky ruff ride. They did fix an evaporative leak. I paid 1400.00 for the repairs! To have nothing fixed but the evaporative leak the purge valve sensor that’s 25.00 on Amazon and a very simple fix was 300.00 alone it’s on U tube and very simple. He told me to bring my car back and they would fix it at no charge to me. Bought it back and was given a whole different diagnosis! Oh now I do have a transmission problem and it’s the suspension system! Whaaat!!!oh we drove it 40 minutes this time he said! To fix my car now without transmission was 2900 to just get me back on the road I’m guessing struts! I would need to pay 1500. He did say I was credited the 1400? After the credit was 2900 how is that helping when they didn’t try to rectify the issue?!. I felt screwed! Took it to Roy’s auto repair in upland told him what happened advised me it was the struts and ball joints I believe it would be 700 for repairs. It wound up being 450.00 cause all that they stated was ok and not damaged. Me being a woman he didn’t take advantage which I felt AAMCO did!. Roy’s was very honest and did not nickel and dime me and fixed the issue. I didn’t even need to have motor mounts replaced!!.
I went in friday 6/18 with my 2018 F150. The crew was nice, the work performed was fine. Although I did not like the fact that I wanted to schedule the maintenance for Saturday, I got new wheels, tires, and a lift kit installed. They told me Saturday didnt work because they cant do alignment on saturdays. So i had to leave work early friday and head down there. Then it came to the end of the maintenance, and the manager tells me they cant do the alignment today either. So now I get to brave the friday afternoon traffic heading north on hwy 15 through cajon pass, cut into my paid time off at work, and still get to leave the shop with the work not completed to my truck. They reduced the price of the maintenance to cover the lack of alignment, but I would have much rather paid, and left the shop with the work done.
These guys are awesome! Eric the manager and the new owner repaired transmissions on 2 Mercedes and the Cooling System on an SUV. I love these guys!
Eric W. the manager is phenomenal !!! Eric is honest and straight forward when it comes to the diagnoses and repairs needed for your vehicle. i have taken all my vehicles to him when issues arise. My jeep recently needed the Evaporated core and A/C lines replaced his techs were able to complete the job quickly before the triple digit heatwave we recently had. i took in my excursion to have the exhaust manifold gasket replaced again the job was quickly done. i will continue to take my vehicles for all repairs.
Needed set of tires for my truck quickly and didnt have much luck finding a place that could help me right away. I normally think of AAMCO as a transmission specialist but apparently they offer much more. Great service. Will use them again.
My daughter took her car in for a oil change. Come to find out they have new ownership. Eric is the manager and is nice as can be. Professional and took the time to explain what could be wrong with my own car. You can tell they are being honest. We love Aamco of Upland!!
Was closed although website stated they were open on Saturday. Will go back on a regular week day then will re-rate.
I had an issue with my AC and took it to AAMCO of Upland. They were able to fix the issue for a much lower cost than what the dealer had quoted me and had it done quickly. Everyone was friendly and professional. I will be bringing all my cars here in the future!

Took truck to another shop and they said it’s be about 4K to repair. Eric and Matt checked me in, got me answers within couple hours, and I saved over a thousand on my rebuild. Honest and dependable shop. Thanks again
Got a price quote from the Toyota dealership and wasn’t happy so I decided to stop by Aamco on my way home. When I walked in I was greeted by Eric (new manager) and he was very knowledgeable about transmissions and did a great job in putting it into terms that I understand. This dude was kind, truthful and straightforward with what was going on with my vehicle. He not only told me the services I needed but also stated me a price quote that was A LOT better than the dealership. After speaking with him I learned that they were under new ownership and also got to meet the new owner when I picked up my car. I Highly Highly recommend them.
I must say Keith and Mike are awesome individuals. They were honest, down to earth, respectful guys that love what they do. I needed a ride to get my rental car and because of covid the rental place doesn’t pick you up and Mike made sure I got there safely. Awesome shop and I will surely go back.

I’ve been to quite a few auto shops in the past few years, mainly because of AC issues with my 2010 Infiniti M35. Hands down, this was the most professional, cleanest, and timely auto shop I’ve been to. Matt (the owner) and his team were able to fix my AC within very reasonable time. I usually dread going to the mechanic because of how long it takes and how intimidating they are. Matt and his team made me feel at ease and were very honest about what they could and couldn’t do. This is why, as soon as I sold my Infiniti, I brought my 2020 Acura in for it’s first oil change. I can’t express enough how impressed I am with AAMCO of Upland. Thank you Matt! See you in a few months for my next oil change.

The last owner lost his business cuz he was doing work that wasnt asked for I need a charging to work that he didnt do. What transmission was out of warranty by two weeks so we had another transmission put in that the new owner or manager rebuilt and thats about 4 months it went bad and he said it wasnt covered
