I brought my 2012 Toyota Camry to this location after I was involved in a fender bender. While my insurance did cover the cost of the entire repair (it was estimated to be over $2000), I did have to pay a $500 deductible. My problem with this location is this: it took TWO WEEKS to book an appointment with this location (my accident took place at the end of August). When I finally did bring in my car I was told the repair would take THREE WEEKS to complete because certain parts had to be ordered. I called the shop and begged them to let me have my car back while they waited for the parts to come in, but they wouldnt budge. The customer service person who I talked to (a lovely woman named Nikki), informed me that my car was already disassembled, and that it couldnt be re-assembled until the parts came were delivered. So, they held my car hostage and I had to rent a car for THREE WEEKS. The car rental was over $1500. When I finally did get my car back, it looked fine. I had to have a brand new bumper and side panel put on (in the front) and it looks good superficially, but there are gaps between the side and the hood, and the front headlight and the hood and I would have expected the job to be PERFECT considering the amount of time it was in the shop. I have told Service King about my dissatisfaction and although they were very sympathetic, no one is jumping up and offering to cover the costs of my THREE WEEK car rental. So, I will not recommend this place. I should have taken it to Caliber who gets things done quickly at least.

Needed my new 2021 RAM Longhorn to have chrome molding installed they performed in a top notch service. Thus, making Service King the Best Body Shop led by General Manager Rick.. His team was great to work with, so friendly, professional, skillful and knowledgeable. When finished, our RAM came back looking better and popped with chrome molding better than ever and was precisely installed in and out. We will definitely use and recommend Service King Collision in the future and recommend them to everyone. They are truly are the best in the business! You will not be disappointed.

Went to have my Ford Transit medium roof repaired after someone hit me. This is where their insurance company sent me. Waited a week to get it. Pulled into the parking lot and into the building to have Matt approach me, not even a good morning, but walking me outside to let me know that they couldn’t take my vehicle because my van wouldn’t fit in the bay to be painted after it’s been fixed. Ooooooh ok….there’s a sister Service King on 281, could they accommodate? “I don’t know! Hold on.” Comes back with a post it with the other service king’s number and address on it so I could call to find out. Not that he couldn’t call to find out or help me figure out what I can do to get my van fixed since I also still need to contact the person insurance company to find out what to do next.I then ask to speak to the manager, Nikki speaks up to tell me that I couldn’t speak to him, that he’s in a meeting. I then asked if she could go and ask him how long he has left in his meeting so I can speak to him and she just said no and walked back to her desk while rolling her eyes. Another female employee came to me a couple minutes later to tell me that it would be about 5-10 min and I said thank you.Manager came out, went straight to the other employees first to whisper and get some info and then came to me. Didn’t really care that his business lacks customer service and didn’t really try to offer any solution to help repair my van and get it painted somewhere else or anything, just dismissed me all together! Horrible company! Don’t use this company ever!! Has been reported to USAA and Nationwide!

I took my F-250 truck to get the right side doors ( dent from accident ) fixed the bed of the truck also had a dents. They kept my truck for a week a 2 days. When I went to pick it up it look nice and shiny but the paint on the bed did not match the trucks paint. I took it back and they fixed it. One week later the molding on the back door peeled off. I called corporate office they promised to call me back they never did. I took the truck back they rushed to fix it, when they brought the truck back the molding was back in place but there was glue all over the area. I express my concern with the receptionist she sent man to clean it. The person brought a bottle of cleaner and paper towel. The area was wiped clean but scratched the molding. I told the receptionist about this and she sent someone else and they started to buff out the scratches. A person maybe the manager came out to look at the truck so they decided to take back inside the shop and stated all was fixed. A week later the molding fell off again. I called the corporate office they said they would take care of it right away. I then received a call from the shops manager and mention he was going to personally take care of the situation. He promise to order the part and have it in hand in 2-3 days and would call me to arrangements for them to pick up the truck, take to the shop and get if fixed. A week later I called the shop to get an update the receptions said the manager was out and would have him call me back when he was in....2 days later I have not heard from them. I called my insurance to complain about there service. Terrible service!

I had the unfortunate experience of having my truck keyed. Went to one place to see how much it would cost to repair. Walked away with an estimate of just under a thousand dollars. Decided to stop by Service King to see what their estimate would run. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with courtesy and professionalism. They came out and talked to me curbside. They then looked at my damage and said they thought it could be buffed out. By the end of the day, they had buffed out the scratches and I couldnt even tell there had been any damage to my truck. And to top things off, they didnt even charge me. I know that if I have any other needs for body or paint, Im going back there without a doubt.

I am editing my original 1 star review. Due to a misunderstanding the part that was ordered for my car didnt show because the order somehow got cancelled. So the part that was supposed to take a couple of days I waited and waited and finally went by. I was HOT that no one had even bothered to call me or check on the status. My initial reaction was to tell Forrest to shove it but after a day I cooled down and went by and accepted that is was just a misunderstanding. After we conversed the part was ordered and painted. I dropped my car off and picked it up the next morning, it was only a lower rocker molding. They did a really good job, the paint matched perfectly on a Sepang Pearl Blue Audi and so far I have no workmanship complaints. Forrest was a pretty nice guy and the lack of communication during the part order fiasco is the only thing preventing that 5th star.

Rick Sarabia and his team recently did some FANTASTIC work on my 2018 Honda Accord. Another driver and I tried to merge into the same lane at the same time, and I had some damage on the left-rear quarter panel. I dropped it off on Monday, and it was done by Thursday. They had to replace a panel and the rear bumper, paint-match it, the whole ball of wax. When I picked it up on Thursday, it was absolutely spotless as if they had detailed it. I felt like I was taking delivery of a brand new car all over again. Hopefully I never need to use their services ever again, but should another accident occur (knocks on wood), I will be going to Service King and working with Rick and his team.

Our Ford F-150 truck was taken to the Service King in Universal City because that is were our insurance company instructed us to go.The truck had been stolen and had some good damage. We were given a completion date and that date kept changing and changing and changing. One would think that would upset us. Maybe a bit, BUT Service King ALWAYS sent us text messages, emails or phone calls to update us and explain why. While I was not really happy the delays kept occurring, cant be too upset when they do such an amazing job of communication!During the process, they had to replace the radiator. Not four hours after picking it up it overheated going to Austin. We had to make adjustments, but got it back up and running. Then going to Kingsville it overheated again. At this point we had to take it to a shop in Kingsville to fix.So why am I not saying dont go to Service King. We had multiple delays and the repair work did not go over well. I HIGHLY recommend this Service King because of one word many businesses forget now a days -- COMMUNICATION!They communicated to us all along the repair process what was happening and why. They even graciously knocked off some of the cost due to delays.When we had to fix the radiator after they fixed it, they worked with us to cover costs.Look no business is perfect. No mechanic is perfect. You make the repairs as best you can and sometimes the vehicle decides something else is wrong.Rick | Clay and their staff are amazing. They talk to you. Work with you and help you. I HIGHLY recommend this service center over any others. The staff here knows how to take care of their customers. I find that rare these days.No shop or store will be perfect. The best you can do is say, Hey we messed up, how can we make it right? This shop does this. I also think our situation is more rare than typical as far as delays or repairs are concerned.Do NOT go anywhere else! Customer Service is certainly KING here...Its in their Name!!!

Used this place twice. Both times great service but it always seems to take a longer than usual time for repairs. Both repairs were covered by insurance so I had rental cars, but had it not been covered, Id bee without a car or paying a lot of money for a rental car. Im basing this off of other services Ive used in the past.

I cannot begin to express how disappointing my experience has been with this shop, but I will try.After 4 weeks to complete the job, I show up to pick up my car and it looked like complete garbage. The car was covered in compound and was overall filthy inside and out. The laundry list of things done incorrectly is as follows: Interior/exterior not clean, large dent/crease where they joined the quarter panel and roof, tail light didnt line up with body, trunk gaps were horrendous, multiple spots with imperfections in the paint, orange peel all over the worked on area, ripped weather strips in the door, rough spots in pillars, door trim didnt line up, the pin stripe looked like it was drawn on with a fat tip pen (and it was still wet), fender was 3 different colors, and the sunroof did not work. This was after the QC process that I was told was very thorough. I take it back the following Monday and was told it would be ready by Thursday or Friday of that week. I call Wednesday to see if we are on track and was told that its in the booth and should be reassembled the next day. I call Friday and apparently they only have 1 painter who was out sick since Wednesday, even though I was told it was in the booth around noon, but hell be here Monday. Call on Monday and Im told that it will be Wednesday, then on Wednesday told itll be Thursday, then on Thursday told that itll be Friday. Each time I am having to call and ask when is my car going to be ready, and each time I am hit with a new date and excuse. I pick it up Friday and am assured all is well. Everything seemed well but then night came and I notice that my head light sensor is now not working, so I will have to take my car back to this shop for a 3rd time.This is unacceptable. I visit body shops for various reasons multiple times a year and this is by far the worst of the worst. Save yourself the frustration and use caliber collision, or anyone else. They might actually make it right the first time.PS: My wife had work done by this shop earlier this year and that work is garbage as well. We will take hers back next week to see what they say/give them a chance to make it right, but Im not optimistic at this point..... queue the generic response about how the appropriate team will address this immediately...****UPDATE 12/15/17****I have taken my car back to this shop 4 times at this point and they still can’t get it right. They installed a few parts incorrectly and caused damage to my driver side quarter panel and there are paint chips in my trunk from their carelessness. I am working with my insurance to take my vehicle to another shop.I would not recommend that you take your vehicle here. After my many visits I got to see multiple people come in and also complain about the work at this location.

Absolutely amazing!Vehicles on both sides, Forced to hit construction barrel knocked into the highway today driving BRAND NEW vehicleStopped by Service King Collision in Universal City to get an estimate. Was positive it was going to be an expensive fix.Rick came out and without having to even ask he lets me know he’d be right back. Paint thinner and rag in hand two minutes later, most of it’s cleaned up.Comes back again with polishing compound and small bufferWith the exception of a very small dent, in less than five minutes, it’s as good as New.Have used them before, for daughters car, and I’ll be back for sureWow,! Got into an accident and this particular location would not service my car. They informed me to inconvenience myself and my wife to move an undrivable vehicle to another location. So having to call my insurance provider to move the vehicle could take up to a day or two! I will never do business with this location ever again. And I recommend everyone to do the same as well. I would rate this place negative stars if I could do so. If I could do so as well... Fire the management that called me to move my vehicle.

Forest is a great guy, the shop did great work but its been seven weeks and I am still waiting on a check they promised me and the molding for the passenger side roof top on my Mazda 6 2014 sky-act IV. But it sounds like they are a good company based on other reviews. I just hope they havent forgotten me. Took me awhile to update this but Im glad I have. My molding came in and my check just as they promised. Forrest is an outstanding customer service oriented individual. I would highly recommend this facility in Universal City. Great people and they do the job right the first time. Keep in mind there can be delays but the delays are parts that can be on back order. This is not uncommon anywhere you go.

I was involved in a hit-and-run and had damage to my grill. I wasnt able to leave my car for more than a week. They were kind enough to order the part for me and I can bring my car back as soon as the part arrives. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. It is a very friendly, clean, and comfortable environment to walk into as well. Thank you all!

I dont hate the place, but I left here highly upset and disappointed with the technicalities that are set in place to set me up for failure.Still trying to wrap my head around how body work takes priority over an alignment. I thought I could use my lifetime warranty for something important such as times like this. You have overworked and underpaid mechanics that do a half ass job on repairing the vehicles and a warranty that sounds nice, but in reality sets the customer up to be turned away. Valuable lesson learned today thanks for nothing.

This place is horrible. I took my car to be fixed and they told me my car would be ready on Friday. I got there to get my car and it wasnt ready and they tell me its going to be ready Monday and I get there Monday still not ready and no body even call me to inform me that it wasnt ready. Then you say will be ready on Tuesday get there Tuesday car still not ready tell me its going to be ready on Wednesday and after 12 and I get a call saying car still not ready will be around 2 get there at 2 still not ready gives 45 min and we will have it ready for you get there get my car back and a piece is broken off in the inside of my car I have a adult sizes foot print on the roof of the inside of my car and a orange yellow stain and I tell the Manger and he said to me we are not taking responsibility for that cause you have kids. REALLY DUDE!!!!. I SAY OK IM CALLING YOUR CORPORATE OFFICE HE SAY CALL THEM THEN. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO TAKE THEIR CAR TO THIS PLACE EVER. I all I had was a small bumper problem from being rear ended.

If I could give Service King negative stars I would. Stay away from them. My car came out with more damage than when it went it. The GM literally wanted to fight me in the parking lot. While fixing the damage they caused, they caused even more damage. Stay very far away.

We went in for a estimate on the damage on our rear light and we waited 10min before leaving... the front lady said she was waiting on someone to help us.. but there was a guy sitting to her right as well as two others not doing any thing... thanks because we would have never thought to go to Gunn Collision on judson rd who got us in and out in under 5min with very satisfied clients!!!
