I guess one could call it the Japanese dollar store, however, the values at the Dollar Stores are much better in my opinion.

Fantastic little Daiso! Neat and tidy, tucked out of the way in union city and just perfect. Parking wasnt to terrible, plus there were a lot of other shops to investigate after shopping here.Easy to navigate, super clean and tidy, things were easily found and well labeled. Thank you to whomever took the time to sort it, as its one of the best sorted ones Ive come across (and theyre all normally quite well sorted!) Ill definitely be stopping by any time I am in the area to see what new and different items they have, as this spot had items other daisos Ive visited havent.

This location is so great! Not allot of people and it’s a nice clean store. They have everything you need. I always have fun trying all the stuff you see on Amazon too but for way less.

A lot of things for your home and the price is good.

Its kind of mini store . All items you get for less price. Its not that good quality but it can survive for ine or two times. You get the ping pong paddle and balls . Books garden stuff kitchen glass items bathroom stuff and decorations items and party items. You can find the small size slippers. The store is under renovation. So some portion of the store is empty. They have very good collection of the glass items. They also have the trash bags, mapping sticks and almost all house hold items. You also get some snacks and noodles and chips . The store is very easy to identify and the crowd flowing is very good.

I prefer to be home people dont respect the distance and they tried to jumping in front of you always good stuff beautiful very clean place

Theres a lot of great selection of items here that are made from Japan. Price is also decent on most items. Credit Card or Debit transactions are a minimum of $10 and anything below $10 is cash only.

Biggest Daiso weve been to so far. This is my go-to for cute saucer and bowls we use for hot pot nights at home. Their garden section has cute planters and trellises.

The largest daiso in the area! if they dont have it here, they probably dont have it anywhere. well organized and staff is helpful. used to come here when this was the only one around. still the best one.

As of writing this, masks are required for entry and must been worn at all times inside the store. 9/12/2020This is one of the bigger Daiso stores that I know of. It has a very large selection of various goods. I would go here if there is anything I need for cooking relates or simple storage related things as everything is relatively cheap.Lots of things to look at and lots of things that would look great to decorate your living space with.

For a dollar store it is nice. I mostly go here just because it is fun to shop here, but the novelty from when I was in high school has sort of worn off. The store is clean, spacious with wide aisles, well lit, well-stocked, and generally kept well. Good variety of cheap and cute little trinkets but they almost never change their stock. I dont go anymore unless it is perhaps once a year because I know I will not see anything new there. This store is geared towards women and most things in there are minimalistic or kawaii design. Generally only one or two checkers and a medium length line.

Like the dollar store but better. Lots of fun things, not very high quality but for $1.50 for most things you cant really be upset about that

Horrible customer service, the cashier didn’t even clean the space nor let me pickup my stuff off the counter and started helping the next customer, the customer was standing less than a foot from me. No wonder Covid is spread through this type of establishment.

Knickknacks in Japan here are unique, cute, practical bits. Good value.

A mind boggling variety of inexpensive imported goods. A fun place to visit. One of my favorite items is the electric eraser.

One stop shop for every day house hold needs and in my case it is the kitchen ware, school supply, garden equipment, car stuff and decorations for almost any occasions and events. Love the oriental scented items, especially tea sets, cups, pots and bamboo products/crafts, music to the eyes. Much less expensive but in high quality, many from Japan directly. Bring your family there, kids love the place like going to Disneyland. Be nice to yourself and be kind to your wallet, come to Daiso!!!

Fun place to shop for cute Japanese products. Some unusual and whimsical knick knacks, some quality bowls and other crockery, lots of plastic containers and things, and snacks. Come visit, you wont be sorry you did!

They have a variety of plates, bowls, mugs, etc. Theyre all very cute. They also have a variety of useful things like umbrellas, bento boxes for lunch, gardening supplies, organization supplies, and even cute stationary and pens. I definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting things affordable and cute. The candy and drinks are good Japanese snacks.

Best dollar store around (well, $1.50). It is just altogether a different and better experience than one finds when one goes to Dollar Tree or the 99 Cent Store. So many good supplies for teachers and students- in addition to all of the other inexpensive goods for home.

A combination of upgraded dollar store, bed bath and beyond & Michaels. This place has unique things that will have you thinking twice about your household items. The cost is super affordable, but be aware all sales are final, no returns or refunds. I think overall quality is a little better than dollar store. Worth the visit

This is a great place to spend a Saturday morning. I get lost in this store looking at all of the fun gadgets and household items. I really enjoy shopping here, the prices are great and they have a huge inventory. Everything here is well organized and the staff is very helpful.

I love going there. There are things I never seeing. I usually spend like $30, my kids love all the munchies, the cool gadgets for school . You can find things for you kitchen, bathroom, storage, gives, so much . If you haven gone there you need to go .

One of my favorite stores. Super inexpensive and the quality of the items is actually pretty good. They have everything from dishes to socks to decorations for parties and even school supplies. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Its an all-around awesome store.

I like it! there is small but useful stuff. and nothing is expensive. I see a notebook in this market it is gonna be just 1$ but I see a notebook in Walmart it is gonna be 10$. but the only problem is no toilet so you have to go to home for toilet but thats not a big problem!!

Even if you have never been to Japan or dont need to buy anything, you will always be delighted by all the items for ale at this Japanese thrift store. Something for everyone, most items priced around $1.50 unless otherwise marked. I love this chain, and always look for a Daiso in whatever city I am in. Check b it b out, you wont be let down (& trust me, youll buy something )!

Imagine the love child of a really good slice of life anime and a dollar store.I always come out with more than expected and very very rarely regret it. But at mostly $1.50 per item, I can risk that.Today, I got jingle bells and lanyards to mcguyver door hangers for the dog to signal he needs a walk. 20% of the cost of the cheapest option on Amazon.Also got drawer inserts for my socks 2 for $1.50 (unplanned), a little shelf for the back of my commode ($3), little demitasse spoons (5 of them for $1.50!) short enough to fit in most condiment jars, a nice little apothecary jar to put my homemade fried chili in oil in (with a spoon now!), 20 large binder clips for re-organizing my baking supplies, and more.

Great products, some exactly like those in Daiso Japan. Had a bad experience with one of the tellers being rude to the merchandise we were purchasing, ripping into a chopstick box/case and even though we mentioned it he still put the ruined box in our shopping bag. If not for that it would be 5 stars!

Variety of products like mobile accessories, stationary, gardening, clothing, home decorations, kitchen utensils etc. Many people think that its 1.50$/item store but thats not true, many of the item here cost a lot. This store recently got renovated.

Largest Daiso in South Bay that Ive found. Great selection of Japanese house hold items and nick-knacks. They have everything from stationary, to laundry baskets. Great space saving stuff for small apartments!

If I had to sum it up its the Japanese version of Walmart.Ive first visited Daiso in Japan and love it. Here, this store was huge but I found it a bit disorganized. The other problem I had was it was hard figuring out the prices as some of them were not marked yet were not $1.50.Else if you can get pass that youll find some great deals and some unique items not found elsewhere.

Come in with a budget in mind. Otherwise, your frivolous finds can get you in trouble with your wallet. $20 is my max, so, I always make sure I dont go overboard. Most of the things I buy end up in the drawers to be used someday!Stay focused and just buy what you came in for but be prepared to get distracted and end up with armloads of stuff to buy!

Some call it a Japanese dollar store. Actually I believe everything is $1.50 unless otherwise marked. NO REFUNDS, RETURNS OR EXCHANGES. Inspect everything before you buy. The highest price Ive paid for any one item is $7.00 but most items are $1.50. The labels/package have Japanese with broken English translations but you can clearly understand what the product is for usually. Almost non-existent American food and small snack type Japanese items. I always find unique items that no other store has. My first visit I walked up and down each aisle just to see everything and create a visual memory of the things l could use later down the line.

This store seemed to be just opening or remodeling. A good portion of the back end was filled with unassembled fixtures. The merchandise selection was limited at best. Even though this was my first visit to a Daiso location, I have known and have been a benficiary of their products for years through family members. Either way, the fact that the store was newly openec or being remodeled vindicates the firm but still leaves me wanting.

Japanese made quality items mostly for the house and for daily use. Different. Well organized. Fun to shop. Check it out.
