Such a quiet calming experience, soon as me and my girlfriend walked in, the atmosphere was very uplifting, the coffee was great including the raspberry cheesecake, they gave me just the right slice to consume it all, very clean diner and the employees were friendly. we will come back again.

❤ it! That my $4 coffee at Starbucks is $3 here. That the same thing I keep running into at these independent locations, they use an expresso bean that tastes like a lighter blend coffee. Its not necessarily a good expresso fit, while Starbucks has some carbon roasting process that makes theirs taste a little more nutty and darker roast. Thats why they charge $4. People like this taste. Including me.No shade here, just comparing. Ill take any expresso stop I can find in the morning when Im in small towns. Nice people too! And the girl working tje drivethru... Cuteness 💕

This place used to be great. Drinks were consistently good and so was the service. The service has declined greatly. I waited for over 30 mins for 4 drinks that were called in 30 mins prior to even showing up. My order is almost always wrong, the employees seem inconvenienced by having to correct the item they got wrong. If I spend $7 for coffee, I expect it to be worth the price.I dont mind the price as much when my order is right, but to pay that much for a drink thats not enjoyable is frustrating and has made me want to not return to the UC location. However, it is nice to save $70 a month in coffee since I have not been, and probably will not continue to be, a patron as frequently.

The BEST Caramel Machiotto that Ive ever had!! I learned that all coffee beans are local, super fun fact. And seriously amazing coffee!!

Great coffee! I am more of a black coffee/espresso shot person, but my wife enjoys the caramel/vanilla/chocolate drinks. We always enjoy the beverages here, made well and served with a smile. If you havent tried their chocolate-covered coffee beans, you are missing out!

Cute place. Warm feel with a couch and other welcoming seating options. Staff was friendly and happy to answer questions. We got a dark chocolate mocha with almond milk and a carmel macchiato - both were delicious.

Very cozy space, friendly baristas, delicious drinks, but sadly missing any board games. (Not that they advertised it, but I think having some is just a good policy.)

Speedy and always has a fresh consistent flavor no matter what you try. Good atmosphere, I would go every morning if I could to get my coffee fix.

I get the same frappe weekly,its a 20 oz just like reeses,both me and my gal love them,they are about 11 bucks for 2 but worth it,plus the muffins are fire and our 3 kids slick steal drinks of our frappe,at which never plays out good.

Todays visit was not as friendly as before. I was highly disappointed in how they did not greet me when I walked in but they did the other patrons who came in after me. The third patrons who came in was not greeted either. By the way did I mention I and the 3rd patron are African American and the other 2 are Caucasian? Imagine that. Nevertheless, the coffee is excellent but customer service skills should improve. We are all the same. God loves us equally no matter what skin we are in

I ordered a drink. When I got ti the window my drink was sitting ready beside the register. I sat there for 5 minutes no one ever came to the window to collect my money and give me my now water logged drink. After 7 minutes of still waiting I left bc I had to be at work.

Super good local coffee joint. Great staff with excellent service. Leather couches and nice tables, as well as a big TV. This is truly a good coffee place to be able to relax and enjoy a bit of down time and or meet family / friends. I have been a big fan for years, this is my go to spot in this area.

The coffees and teas served here are always good. They also serve some excellent sandwiches and desserts. Service is good and usually the staff is eager to please.

Every time I visit, the customer service is always great. They made my coffee drinks to perfection.

Its a pretty, clean, comfortable cafe with couches, fire place, tables and bar stools. Big windows, drive through, and although there is a television the sound has never been on when Ive been there and the music trends towards classic rock but low enough to ignore as background music. The staff is sweet and my coffee has always been spot on. Im so glad this cafe is here adding more dimension to town.

Excellent service and a great selection of coffee drinks and frappes. Havent tried the baked goods, but the list is extensive.

Carmel macchiato was amazing and store was well decorated. Glad I found this little place on a road trip!

Superb local coffee shop, cozy, relaxing, warm staff and quick bites. Roast their own beans too. Always a great place to go and enjoy the aromas of great coffee being brewed, while catching the news on the big screen or using their wifi to catch up on emails. Quiet enough to do some light studying as many college kids do.

L.O.V.E. Higher Ground Coffee and the staff! Our family are frequent visitors! They are extremely friendly, whether inside or drive thru. Inside is always clean, beautifully decorated, great atmosphere!I came in a week or so ago to have a day date with my oldest son. He got a smoothie he thought hed like, took a sip and didnt like it. I took it back to the counter when my coffee was made and mentioned it to ( I hate that I forgot her name) the lady behind the counter. She took it from me and suggested some other flavors. My son finally settled on a new one and she remade it. I went to the register to pay and she insisted that it was on her! I insisted, she said no again however I slipped the cash for it into the tip jar! Lol! It wasnt her fault that my son didnt personally like the taste first one (it was Mango) and she, nor the store, should have to eat that cost!I would give this place more stars if I could!My favorite part is that Im able to get Fraps here! However, I do not believe you can get breakfast sandwiches here. That would make this place perfect if they ever decide to start!

Really enjoyed my visit to Higher Ground. Friendly staff and super comfortable surroundings. I enjoyed both the Reeces frappe and an excellent London Fog (Earl Grey tea latte). Recommend!

Wonderful friendly baristas. High Ground is an amazing aspect of Union City. You can take a day trip to Discovery Park and later swing by Higher Ground for the best cold brew coffee in the entire area. I have been going to Higher Ground for five years and I have yet to find a coffee shop to compares in quality and atmosphere.

Never disappointed in the coffee they serve! Never disappointed in the baristas serving us!! They consistently hire a high quality person! Good people!

Higher Ground is Great! The coffee is wonderful, the food is amazing, and the shop is well furnished, warm, and comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they make you feel right at home. Higher Ground has all the amenities (big screen television, free high-speed internet, etc.) and something for virtually every age group. Higher Ground is a very special and unique place.

Every once in a blue moon when I find myself here Im always greeted kindly by the associates and welcoming interior. The whole place gives a scholarly vibe as though it belonged in a college or grand hotel lobby, and then the coffee is most always made timely and exactly to order-

If you’re traveling this is right off the highway so easy access in and out. The food is limited but I had a wrap and it was decent and cheap.
