Finally tried this place out and all though its a step up from the last restaurant here it leaves much to be desired. The tables were not clean and didnt have napkins stocked. My wife had a ham and cheese croissant that was nit soft and overly chewy. My egg, cheese and sausage everything bagel was ok. It lacked sausage flavor and only certain parts of the bagel had flavor from the bagel seasoning. The coffee options are serve yourself and they lack any sleeves for their paper cups that do not protect your hands from the hot coffee. Not likely to visit again.

Not so wonderful. Unfriendly service. Unhygienic. When asking for butter on the side I overheard the owner whispering some people.

Update 7/12/19They have added Flavored Cream Cheese by which I mean they take normal cream cheese and mix in jelly... sigh.The bread selection for sandwiches consists of rolls of white bread, no wheat or other selections unless you want wonderbread.I cant say I dont go here, due to convenience for a quick bagel or sandwich IF they are open and or have it in stock. But it is not first on my list.The staff are extremely nice, but that only gets you so far with a restaurant. So... who knows what the fate of this store is.Update 6/25/2019Bagels are always sold out on weekends and by 1pm on weekdays. Still limited to a few kinds.Hours are different on weekends and not posted. With staff going home and closing up without notice to the public really early in the afternoon.Sandwiches are often made incorrectly with the wrong dressings etc. and time to make is long. With staff often not sure who is doing what.Chip selections are not what you would expect from a delicatessen. Often strange off brands and not better choices like flavored pita chips and sea salt chips etc. things you would find in any New York deli.Overall if you are looking for the ONLY bagel shop in Weehawken. This is it. But as of right now I cannot recommend it for sandwiches or it’s name “wonderful” bagels.Update 6/16/2019:More staff has been hired and they are very friendly.Bagels are still meh, better choices and prices at the Dunkin Donuts still.Deserts are fun, with a bunch of pre-packaged, but fresh things you would see in a corner store in NYC versus a Bodega in NJ.The potential is here. Time will tell.Bagels on the Hudson in Hoboken is a perfect example of a true Bagel shop. Even the prices with fresh cooked bagels are cheaper there. Bagels are imported from Brooklyn, not baked fresh. By 1pm most bagels are sold out. Not enough staff to take multiple people at once(they are hiring). But as of now often it is the owner trying to field calls and customers which just seems like a mess.Important staple bagel flavors are non existent. They only have 6-9 choices of bagels... WHAT?! This is a bagel shop.This shop is brand new, but in order to be a hit for what is a void in this town a BAGEL shop, the focus should be on the best bagels, with multitudes of cream cheese choices, and a staff that knows how to run it.They have a deli section, but havent tried that yet either, it seems like all cooking and preparations are done in the back as well which is weird.The shop also closes at 6, so forget a Friday night snack. You will still be limited to the 10,000 pizza and chinese places in the area.I will update this review if they improve. But right now you can get a better bagel by going to the Acme Supermarket, Trader Joes, or Hoboken.

Pretty good bagels. A little stingy on the cream cheese, though. Asked for extra and still just got a little bit of cream cheese compared to most other bagel places. I like the taylor ham, egg and cheese on everything bagel. Everything tastes very fresh. Bagels dont appear to be baked on site, though. On the plus side, the service is good and the owner is friendly.

Wanted to try it out because it’s new in town. Very friendly staff, greeted us with smiles as we walked in, bagels were fresh and our sandwiches were made quickly. It was very good, would definitely go back again!

Actual Good north jersey bagels. Make a mean Taylor ham egg and cheese as well as lunch sandwiches. Support this place cause this is the only real bagel shop in weehawken and I’d hate to see it go.

Truly a Wonderful shop. Bagels are hot and fresh, coffees delicious and service is friendly. What Union City been waiting for.

Would not recommend a bagel from here, got an everything bagel with cream cheese, its tasted like a Lenders bagel that they just took out of a bag. Still looking for a decent bagel in this area, which is sad considering how close to the city this is.

Lack of variety on bagel choices. We came there at 10 am and there were only 5 kinds of bagels out of the normal amount you would see at a bagel shop. Don’t bagel shops restock empty bins on types of bagels such as cinnamon raisin for instance for customers? This is the norm for other places for bagels to restock empty bins on variety of bagels missing. Also I noticed that they had minimal spreads on display for bagels. Sorry guys but you need to restock and display your variety of spreads and bagels, otherwise don’t call the store Wonderful Bagel. Also the person working behind the desk told us that they are open at 6am in order to justify the lack of variety they had left to offer customers. By the way it states here on Google that your opening time is 7am.

Really nice people just not very good bagels and small selection.

Asked for a Taylor ham and egg on a roll salt pepper ketchup. Got uncooked Taylor ham with egg and CHEESE no salt no pepper no ketchup. Somehow it had scallions in it. Go to M&J bagel on Tonelle. They get it right for $3.95. Smh
