We got a very bad experience with our truck today. Trying to move everything today, but couldnt drive that far. The truck we received had a 1/4 gas tank left. We went to gas station to pump gas and all the gas kept leaking out as we pumped. Found out a broken pipe connecting straight to the fuel pumping hole. We already drove 30 mins out. We called U-Haul here, they said we call the wrong number and connected us to the Roadside assistance line. Took forever for them to get back to us. They said they will send someone to fix the truck. Waited 2 hours, no one comes. They told us to drive it back home... with almost no gas left in the tank and didnt even know if the truck would expose... U-Haul, I dont know what type of business you guys are doing if you can maintain your own vehicle...

This store no longer feels chassis mounted propane tanks. So all of you RV’ers out there who need a tank filled find another place.

IM HAVING THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT UKIAH UHAUL. WAITING TO BE PAID BACK, FOR THEM DRILLING INTO MT TRUCKS BRAKE BOOSTER LEAVING ME TO DRIVE AROUND WITH NO BRAKES! I PAYED THEM TO INSTALL A TRAILER BRAKE CONTROLLER 300. THEN HAD TO PAY REPAIR SHOP NEARLY$ 600.00, TO FIX MY TRUCK! NOW THEY DONT CALL ME BACK!MISSING OUT ON WORK, VERY ANGRY, WHERES MY F...ING MONEY!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN........NEVER!

Things got messed up with our reservation, the trailer we were guaranteed never came after waiting days for it. Moving is stressful and needless to say I was not in a high spirits. The General Manager David handled it all professionally, & was willing to give us several options and a discount. I’m very grateful for his patience, he’s a good guy. We had to drive all the way to Chico for the trailer but they made it worth it. Thanks guys.

Youll have a better experience hauling your stuff to where you need in a wagon.

I really like renting from this place. I have returned a one way truck rental and have rented a van from them three times; each time I have had a good experience. Their fleet is in really good condition and the last one I rented was brand new. I will definitely rent from them again.

Terrible customer service. If you want to haul your weed and fish emulsion and beat the truck to death on backroads definitely come here to be ripped off. If you’re moving mattresses and household items then definitely rent a truck and then be told by management you’re a liar when you express concern over the cleanliness of the rental.

We picked up a one-way cargo trailer and when we got to our home to load it, when we opened the door it stunk so bad like pig manure or pigs had been hauled & the dealer did not clean it at all !! Flies were everywhere, we had to physically clean it as best we could, but the smell was still there. I called Ukiah dealer & some young person answered & said he would have the manager call me. **Never happened ! I do not recommend this place at all ! When we dropped off the trailer in Carson city, Nv. The check in person said she filed a corporate complaint & that I should hear from them in 72 hrs....**Never happened !

Dont go to these people. I left my pickup there with 1/4 tank of fuel. Got back and it was below empty. When I asked where they took it I was told that it didnt go anywhere. They cant explain where my fuel went. No Im sorry, no nothing. All I got was that I could speak to the manager when he got back sometime but wouldnt tell me when he was to be back. Called the regional office and after 25 minutes the operator taking the complaint laughed at me. Great costumer service.

Requested a small truck with ramp for moving . Picked up the truck. Drove 8 miles home. Noticed there was no ramp. So I immediately go back He tried to charge me 68 dollars for the rental because no other trucks were ready till tomorrow. Wouldnt apply towards tomorrows rental or anything. When asked who is boss is. He says Im the general manager Jordan chance so I ask who he reports to. He says it doesnt matter he will tell you the same thing. So I call the company president Chris Watson and he respectfully took care of me and did what the general manager said was impossible ..... shouldnt have to call the company president to receive Vedic customer service. I wish ukiah had more options. Avoid Jordan chance at all costs

Was good to use a truck I didnt have to worry about breaking on me good store service but the answering service I kept getting different answer on a question I had about a credit card deposit

Have rented from this U-Haul many times, very good! The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

My experience has been horrible, they are not honest about helping there customers. Wont send me an email if my card didnt work, they just email me 10 days later with a late fee. There not on point. Do not go with them, they have been very unhelpful from a distance.

Pretty bad when you rent a trailer from your local uhaul and they make you drive over an hour to pick it up. Will not return here again for any rentals.

If your looking to get away for a weekend on a long drive but dont want to put extra miles on your vehicle, maybe rent a truck from u hual. Perfect for a weekend drive to Lake Shasta.

Moving is stressful enough, trust me when I tell you choosing Uhual of Ukiah will only add to it. We are moving across the country and decided on Uhual Ubox service. Despite being assured our ubox would not be shipped out until the 20th, we discovered it was shipped a full 10 days before we were ready. As you can imagine this greatly effected the logistics of our already stressful move. If you dont like to learn things the hard way I suggest steering clear of this place for any of your moving needs.

Their half-ton Sierras can actually handle almost 2,000 lbs. (1,976 lbs.)

Reserving a truck is pointless. Two of the last three times I reserved a truck they did not have it when I arrived. Terrible corporate model. If they did not have a monopoly on the box truck industry here I would never use their services..

Cant get through to local office. Left several messages for a call back from the local with the out of state answering service and never got a call back. Went into the local office regarding storage auction date and was told incorrect information. Get it together U-Haul!!!!
