Almost overwhelming each time I enter this store... SO many great things I need to see! Always a great selection of quality products. There have been times that they were out of stock on a few things, but every single time they say they will have it, they have. Knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I certainly recommend as I will most definitely be returning!

I took 2 of my Glock 19s in for custom stipple work, a redesigned grip and polished internals and Chris Ostrom did the most amazing work Ive seen. He was already busy with other customers but had both of my firearms done days before promised. Pacific Outfitters in Ukiah had always had great customer service and Ill continue to shop there. Thank you Chris for making my firearms better than I ever thought.

The kayak rental is very easy, fast, and only 40 dollars to rent a kayak for 24 hours. They have the hobie pedal drive kayaks there which are great for fishing

The staff is very friendly but everything is overpriced. Their firearm selection is a joke and they give you the runaround if you want to order anything. If you know how to use the internet or can drive to Santa Rosa Id suggest staying clear of Pacific Outfitters unless you enjoy getting ripped off or overpaying for merchandise.

Its a great place for outdoor stuff that I usually forget is there. The staff are great and helpful but, were completely out of kayaks which is what I was there for. I controlled my urge to aimlessly wonder and spend unnecessarily because they are a bit pricey and for our little town I had to shorten my visit. Have fun.After further review Id like to change my rating to five star because of an error on my part. This store can and will order anything sports that you want or you can go online and get your inner geek on and what not. Its a fun place, you guys(POs) rock!! Sorry bout last time, my bad!

I had an ok experience. Its not there fault but to buy a gun in california is too complicated. I have a drivers license and a birth certificate and that still not good enough.

Went there for my first gun was helped by an employee named John. He provided excellent customer service and had an answer for every one of my questions. Had a great attitude was happy to help made my time and experience there very enjoyable and I will return and specifically request him for my customer service and needs.

Awesome place though I wish they still sold bikes. They carry Solomon shoes which are my preferred brand, beautiful kayaks, guns and camp equipment.

This place is fantastic. Best customer service youre going to get anywhere. Employees are always friendly and if you frequent the store they take the time and effort to remember you and will remember your taste in equipment. Its always fun to walk in and have them call you buy name and say hey check out this new thing we got, figured you might like it since you looked at this other thing last time. Possibly the biggest thing I love about this store is, theyll sell you what you need, not what will make them the most amount of money. That seems to be a rare trait among outdoor stores Ive visited so it is a stand out trait of Pacific Outfitters. Couldnt recommend this store enough.

Great Selection, they have everything you need to survive a zombie apocalypse.ammo verity is big. all kinds of accessories for shooting and thinks related. many targets. they have the exact things i have been looking to find for a long time. self reseting targets paper targets ear pro got all the good stuff.

I went to the Pacific Outfitters in Arcata, was looking for a pair of Keens shoes and they didnt have my size. I was planning to travel out of town, and was going to be going by Ukiah, so the salesperson checked the Ukiah store and put the shoes on hold for me. I was impressed with the customer service and how easy it was to walk in the Ukiah store and get the shoes I wanted. Great store!

Fist off, my wife works here, but I truly appreciate the service and knowledge about their gear. If you need camping gear, shoes, kayaks, guns...you name it they will try to get you outfitted.

Good advice on fishing bait plus lures

They obviously arent as big as a REI or Cabelas. But if youre like me, and you like to hunt, fish, kayak and backpack, then this is the place for you. Always the first place I look.

Carry most things needed for outdoors. Bought a kayak holder for my Ford Escape and got help quickly.

Not sure were to start but i bought several firearms from this store.They sold me a new shotgun that had problems a A5 Browning.They told me to drop it off and they would send it to the factory for repair.After 5 weeks of waiting to get my Shotgun back i found out that it sat in there warehouse under a pile of other guns and was never sent back.I finally got it back Months later.I still went back and recently bought a Shotgun for my wife.Yesterday i went there to buy a Henry rifle and the idiot Owner Chris tells me that i have to buy the only one they have in stock and that he would not get me another rifle. I would not recommend this store at all they are very rude and not Professional at all. Dont waste your time here! They are over priced! :(

They have a good selection of about everything you would need for back packing to hunting & fishing.

They should offer better selection of north face considering the next nearest store offering north face is over 55 miles away.
