Fabulous deli with made to order delicious sandwiches made the way you like them. It a favorite stop of ours whenever were in Ukiah it is undoubtedly the best deli in town. Also the store itself is easy to access and has anything that anyone could want in regards to favorite foods. The best asset is that their stuff is very fresh if not homemade. This is why the Renaissance gets a five star rating. You will love it too, dont miss it on your next trip to Ukiah.

My son lives a couple of blocks from this market and recommended to us. My partner and I dropped by and got some delicious REAL food created from ingredients from the county.

A Local Gem! Shadi, is extremely accommodating and enjoyable to talk to when youre there. Some of the dishes are fromhis grandmothers recipes, and very tasty. They have a nice variety of things from local wines to artisan cheeses etc.

Definitely a longtime favorite for many years. Small space yet seems to always have unique selection of staples and variety of local wines. Plus, and this is a delicious plus, their deli is stocked with todays-fresh home prepared meals available for take- home portions (these specials go quickly). Another if their specials is the friendly staff and owners.

This place rocks. They had what I wanted when I could not find it anywhere else. At first they did not think they did but after looking in the back room I got a message letting me know they had it and did me a great deal....I reccomend this store and will go back for the Awesome looking sandwiches

I have gone to this little market sine I was 4 years old. And it still stands in the same location and is very nostalgic to me. The variety of items they sale is incredible for such a small neighborhood store. They have excellent deli items a lot of them are home made. I cant wait to go back and see what new creations they have made.

I have been coming here for years. It changed owners and the store is becoming like every other corner store. Specialty items are appearing to be taken off the the shelf and being replaced with what you can find in Walmart or a local grocery store. It takes away from what it was.I am sure for those in the immediate neighborhood, it will be good for them to grab quick items. I no longer see a reason for me to return.I do wish the new owners the best in the new venture.

A lovely little true neighborhood market with a little bit of everything. They have a fantastic selection of wine, craft beer, and good variety of organic & healthy food.Wait and did I mention they have enough delicious cheese to kill a horse... and its all yummy

Located in the upper west side,this is not your usual corner store. Excellent sandwiches,eclectic variety of gourmet shelf items. A bit pricey, but worth checking out.

Its a small neighborhood market that stocks local items, craft beers, and an eclectic selection of goods. Its tucked away in a nice Ukiah neighborhood. When I find myself roaming these streets its an excellent pitstop.

Its home town 💯Shadi is the best, home grown items, local, fresh...... So so friendly and the food him and his family make is epic!!!

They have some of the best craft beer selection around. Very helpful staff too.

UPDATE WITH NEW OWNERSHIP 2/1/19VERY friendly and helpful, van find everyday items like bread or the onion you forgot, they are slowly changing over wine selection to reasonably priced wines . Nice prepared food, some old and some great new things like homemade tabouli.. OVERPRICED for EVERYTHING! I understand its small but even for a small specialty store, ridiculous prices. Definitely not your typical neighborhood store stocked with everyday items folks are willing to pay a bit more for to have convenience. Instead, mish mash of overpriced specialty items.

One of the few neighborhood markets left. Decent selection of a lil bit of everything.. Round the corner from home..what could be bad? Close a bit early (8 I think). Its money spent in my community. Wouldnt have it any other way.

You might guess this small store nestled in Ukiahs peaceful Westside neighborhood is just a run-of-the-mill convenience store, but dont be fooled; treasure lies within.Seasonal produce, artisan pantry essentials, a rotating selection of farm-to-table hot or cold meals, gourmet desserts, handmade arts & crafts, and fine wines are just some of the items youll find here--and most are locally made or produced.But perhaps the thing that sets this little market apart from the rest, is their phenomenal beer selection. From imports to domestics, stouts to Saisons, porters to IPAs, sours, ciders, and stouts, theres something for every palate. A heads up: this may not be the place to pick up a case of Coors or MGD (though you will find a few of those sentinels standing amongst the fleet of artisan beers), but I encourage you to stop by anyway, pick up something you know and something new. And if the owner is in when you do (which he often is), hell gladly talk beer with you.

Its been under new ownership for about 6 months now - a family from (I think) Eastern Europe or Russia. Theyre very friendly, obviously trying very hard, and they listen to requests (like for specialized soda). Cant recommend this place highly enough.
