When youre in a hurry you have to wait in two lines. Usually more than a half-hour to get your food.. Found its true Jalos Restaurant is much faster and better

I used to get their burritos for years until they charged me for the containers in the open bar then I returned a year-and-a-half later and their burritos were super spicy I dont know why.. jalos restaurant says it will be done in 15 minutes and its done in 15 minutes and their meat is much better prices are cheaper and you dont have to wait in two lines

Its a bonefied market and is Spanish for sure it great .except I wish I could find some fryes chicken up in there I love fryed chicken

The store has many Hispanic products you cant find anywhere else. They have a butcher, fresh produce, and delicious Mexican bread.

I only come through Ukiah once a year, and Ive made this place a tradition. It is one of the better tacos in the area. I was disappointed that the prices have gone up a little, but the quality is still here.

Every time I head into Ukiah for lunch, I always go out of my way to head over to Chavez’s market for lunch! Home made everything!!! If you love authentic Mexican food, do yourself a favor and stop in and place an order. You have to go into the main store to make your purchase then head next door where the magic happens. Street tacos are life!!!! 💯

Great food, good prices, nice selection of products. Never had a bad experience until now. Theyre picking and choosing who has to wear facial covering when entering the store. So warning, you might have to wear a mask, you might not. Just depends on how much they like you I guess.

I remember when they first opened, it was in the building next door where they serve the. Bomb street tacos and other authentic mexican goodness. Ohhhh but the tacos, dang I love them. Anyway you want them, yummmmmmmm. The staff in and out of the store are awesome and they also have an authentic meat dept with all the cuts you need for all your mexican tastes. All the cheese you want and produce. The owner, now an experienced Grocer, knows his business and his peeps. Hes down to earth, good people. Great store!!!!

Solid tacos that are very legit - meat, salsa, cilantro, onions. Nice salsa bar. If youre looking for fancy tacos though this is not it, theyre fairly gritty but very tasty and nice price! Tortillas were homemade and probably the best part. Carnitas was a little dry, asada was tasty, pastor was good but just had very little meat in ours. Recommend a stop if youre in the area.

Go into market order and pay, go next door give receipt and wait. Food decent, ordering clunky and unlabeled. $9.50 for average quality carne asada burrito is bit pricey. Damn good green salsa though.

Love this place. Highly recommend. We have shopped here ever since it opened up. They also have the option to purchase tacos and order off menu for their restaurant, in their store. It is the best in town. We also buy their meat already chopped up and seasoned to cook at home. The meats here are the best. The people are friendly and helpful. Did I mention I highly recommend.

Girl at the checkout was not very polite. I had realized ounce I got out to my vehicle that I was missing two items. I went back into store to grab my items and asked if she had scanned them as I had assumed she had, and she then had stated thats why I asked you if that was all and YOU said yes. All she had to say is sorry for the mix up. She jad to make a wierd pount and get sassy about it. Not very professional. Then to top it off I called to make a complaint regarding her behavior and the girl that took my complai t hung up on me in the middle of our conversation. Wow Not a good way to have someone with attitude up at the front of the store. I wont be returning.

All the Mexican ingredients and treats one needs in one convenient stop. Clean bathrooms. Good place to grab a quick bite when eating on the go. Bus station is directly across the street.

This is, hands down, the best Mexican food in Ukiah. Theyre famous for their tacos, but next time try a quesadilla afuera. When they offer the grilled onions and jalapeno say yes. The huge handmade corn tortilla is stuffed with cheese and the meat of your choosing. Theyre always friendly, too. Whats better than friendly people and excellent food?

Delicious and affordable Mexican meals in the southern end of Ukiah across from the airport. You order in the supermarket, and take your receipt outside to the kitchen where a kind old lady whips up homemade corn tortilla tacos to spec. Dont pass up the offer of free grilled onions and a roasted jalapeno.Also try the huge quesadillas that the cashier recommends. The salsa bar is not to be missed.

This store has lots of Mexican food items. The fruits are not as fresh as I would like. But I am probably spoiled living in SF where food gets sold faster due to a larger consumer base.

I use to love this place until I paid $40 4 6 tacos n quessdilla. Bit into my quessdilla n got a mouth full of hair. Took it back n the young man with bad dye job on his hair said.....according to his investigation it was not sold to me like that!! Heard he was just hired, very unprofessional and absolutely rude in front of other customers!!

Oh my gosh I have ordered from here many times. So disappointed tonight! Ordered a super quesadilla and rice & beans. Called my order in told me about 20 minutes. Okay got what I needed in the store. Paid went out waited another 20mins. The rice and beans sat there getting cold cook asked what I wanted told her she slapped a tort on the fryer, did not let it cook added some beef a little cheese asked what else do you want? I told her she threw on some onions and peppers that was it. No lemon or lime nothing in the side bar. Then my rice and beans were a joke. All hard rice and about 2 tablespoons of beans! I could not believe it. My meal was under cooked and raw. Threw in th trash can on my way out. Ordered from taco bell! When I got home.(not to mention had to bag my on grocery was told we dont do that anymore)

Right now for me I would not give it a single star, I live AKI in San Francisco and we go for the quesadillas there with my wife and her family just for the quesadillas because when the lady who appears in the photos was there, they were Asian all the food with desire and with love but orita the one who is grilling it just for working reluctantly the quesadillas you put silantro and onion inside and not a place have I seen a quesadillas like that and then they do not even credit the cheese well when they put the meat on it and they give it to you And apart from the lady who is gripping it, she spends it textiating and thus without washing her hand, she continues to sew twice already and gone after that the ladies from before are no longer there, so if you Asian the quesadillas 100% the second time I had the meal It was the same reluctance and apart from that, the lady was drunk if they dont want to lose their customers, they should eat the food the same way it was, and serve their customers with kindness like the Asian ladies who were there, she did, although she had many people in 5 minutes they gave you to eat but now it is better to eat at home before going there and you do like the food
