Big 5 is definitely my to go place for all thing sports even metal detectors which I just so happen to buy a short while back. Its fun but, you just might lose yourself in it and lose your sense of time. This place is what you would expect, price wise. Its realy not that bad and the staff seems to know whats up and the do know their inventory

Went to Big 5 for shoes and picked out 3 different shoes to try on and they did not have them in the right size. The place was clean found everything else we where looking for. Staff where friendly and check out was fairly quick. All in all I would shop here again.

The service is good but they seem to have only 2-3 employees working at any given time, so you may have to wait for that good service.

Looks like they have a lot of stuff here. Guns, ammo, accessories for guns. I never seem to find any clothes I like here, but have purchased shoes here before.

The manager thought I was a common thief and ran me out the store I just wanted to buy some friesbys

I accidently grabbed the wrong shoe size in Santa Rosa and the exchange was easy. The cashier and the shoe clerk were both fast and friendly. Great deals on. New Balance shoes

This is the best of all the Trader Joes i have shoped in. Not to big just right everyone is more than glad to help you.It is always been in and out quick and easy.

Stephanie is amazing! I just recently bought my first firearm here (a .22 rifle), and she was there for every step! She is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about firearms, and made the whole buying experience positive, fun, and educational. Cashier had her mask under her nose, dont even bother if you cant figure out how to wear it properly... That aside, the knife section doesnt have a very good selection and there arent many scooter/skateboard options.

Very clean, helpful staff, and always seems to have items in stock. I mainly go here for fishing supplies, but other departments always seem to be well stocked.

I dont have very good luck at this store. I rarely find what Im looking for, and its challenging to find amicus to help me.

Good selection for ANY sports, even airsoft. Their shoe and hiking boot selection is great as well. They also have a good selection of backpacks.

Love big 5, guns, flashlights, camping gear and team hats.I buy a 9ers or Giants hat here every 4 months or so.

Friendly, but not a lotvof stock

I like Big 5 stores usually. But at this store the costumer service interaction was lacking. I understand if the store is busy and theres a lot of people that employees dont have time to assist or talk as much. The last couple times Ive been in there I felt avoided. Im not needy for attention but I wouldve appreciated someone suggesting ideas or mentioning that there was a clearance on so and so; or telling me to check out blah blah. Smiles go a long way and so do kind words...

The customer service was great! They helped find everything I was looking for. I drive all the way over to this store instead of clearlake location.

Worthless. No ability to be critical thinkers,or resourceful... Seriously like just answer the phone how hard is it. Shut it down fire everybody and get a real business...

The employees are always supper nice and helpful and on top of things, the store is always in good shape and usually clean and picked up. love the gun counter(its my FAVORITE part of the store) they have a decent selection good prices and a few fun guns like the kel-tack lag shotgun and they usually stock a side by side shotgun or two... the kinda heavy set guy with red hair is awesome and knowledgeable about firearms and local gun laws.

Needed ammunition. Store was pick over but, I was able to score on two boxes of 357.

Great place. I always walk out with a smile.

I usually like shopping at stores like this but I wont go back to this one if I can avoid it. I asked a simple question about an extremely common product (afterbite or sting stop) and the employee looked at me like I was insane and in a very rude voice told me (with a laugh) that NO, they do not carry that. Ok? Im sorry your manager has no concept of whats a common product and what would sell in their store, but there is no need to be snarky. Wow!

I didnt like the rude behavior of one of the clerks. All I wanted was a pair of shoes.

They have good deals on shoes sometimes and the camping section is pretty good. They have just about everything you might need for your sporting activities.

Prices is high but good for supplementing what other outfitters may not have in stock.
