These guys are awesome, i was passing thru doing a few days camping in Joshua tree. My klx was acting up. They had it all figured out and back to me in less then 48 hours. And we’re super honest with the repair. They could of got me for a couple hundred dollars and didn’t. Basically a new tube in my rear tire, a new spark plug and there time I was out the door for less then $50 . Thanks so much for your honesty and fast service so much appreciated;)

Called about needing new tires on my bike not only did they have the correct sizes but they took my bike in that day and changed both tires in about 30 min. Really chill hard working guys here.

Took a long while for them to even look at my bike and they gave it back to me in pieces because they couldnt figure it out so three stars cuz I met the owner and he seemed like he needed employees pretty because he made it sound like theres no one ever there working on things... but the owner himself was a decent dude to chat with. Went in a few years ago and they used to have a bunch of gear on rack and now it looks pretty bare...couldnt even get new gear for my wife...not even gloves(wantes to surprise her) But once again three stars cuz the owner was nice Sooooo yea I would have taken my bike to someone else in town to get the issue solved but theres no one else in 29 instead I took it to yucca to Frenches and they fixed it and got it back to me in like three days and me and my wife were able to ride together again sooooooooo yeah.. Interesting place

The time it takes to get work done has taken to long multiple occasions. The store owner and his wife are extremely professional and helpful. It seems as if though his assistant however is unreliable and for this reason causes turn around times on the bikes to increase unexpectedly.

Great bike shop in town. You can buy parts, gear or gave your bike fixed. To include quads and dirt bikes! Donny and Jp are the best. So helpful and always get us right in for any service needs.

Excellent customer service. JP was very honest, any other shop could have easily told me I needed more parts to make a profit. JP sorted my quad out with same day service. Desert Cycle Works will have my repeat business and I highly recommend them.

JP is a awesome guy. I go here all the time for work on my bike. I dont know what the heck is up with the other guy saying they are rude and dont help when its the opposite. Ive only had one instance when they couldnt help me and its because they Didnt have the part in stock and they nicely told me where else I could get it. Ive been a repeat customer for a good while now and I highly recommend these guys. And heads up they are the only motorcycle shop in town up here for 29 Palm, JT and yucca (i dont count the one in yucca cause I never see that place open or any people there) so yes they can be backed up a little when they are taking care of an entire valley pretty much. So give them a shot and dont be rude they are really helpful and nice guys.

So I took my quad to get the shocks fixed at desert cycle works in twentynine palms and they told me that they would have it fixed in 2 weeks. So before I took it down, I had a 1/2 tank of gas, a new battery and one crack on my shock, so almost 3 weeks later after seeing my quad sitting outside the entire time in a high theft area, I needed it for a small job and when I went to pick it up,my front rack was cracked, gas tank was empty, battery was dead and my other shock was broke, so I told them I will not be bringing it back. They feel I owe them money for the parts they had to buy which took them 45days to get in, I ordered them myself and got them in 4 days, I got my quad back and fixed it myself, before they claimed the parts they ordered came in. How amazing, they ordered i ordered the parts from the same company they ordered them from and I got mine in 4 days and they got theirs in 45 days. Doesnt make any sensei feel they were trying to mess my quad up on purpose trying to make more money, thats what I feel. I will never go back there. Its ashame when a person feels they went to a dishonest company that only try to take advantage. I could of fixed it myself to begin with but with having so many things to do, I thought since I was so busy I would just pay a place to fix it, that was a horrible mistake.

Absolutely horrible customer service. They cannot find part numbers from the Honda catalog, do not make orders when they say they will. Provide nothing for on road riders. Hard to contact, always backed up by weeks. Generally rude. I have given them 4 chances, and they screwed them up.

Used them years ago took ages to get my bike back and when I did I had to send it back in cause they missed a chunk of metal and it destroyed the cylinder, recently just took a part in to get micd and its been two three months now. They rebuilt it and didnt charge me, and they apologized for the delay recently, jp is the best the long haired mechanic guy is an ass with in a sentence he had already had me about to walk out but thankfully jp jumped in and took over the conversation.
