Great Walmart supermarket from 5 p.m. there are whole grilled chickens in different sizes

It was an amazing first time experience at Walmart. Got to enjoy the moment with some friends.

Great big store to choose from but the laste couple time the pandemic has caused the store to have empty shelves, or it could be the short staff. 80% of the time they have what you need and the store is helpfull. like any store you have so good and bad days with the client that walks into the store.

My god this place is a joke. No customer service. When you do get someone they dont know. Do I continue to go, of course its everything I need in one trip. Thats the upside. How does the busiest Walmart in town, the only super-walmart not have money? On a Friday the money center closed? Go to customer service they cant do it... Go to the smaller Walmart, neighborhood Walmart, went to customer service, and guess what they did it. Out of all the employees that they have 2 registers are open along with the self check outs. Go to self check out and all the machines either dont work or only take cards. Money still exists. Walmart has good prices, and its an all around everything you need for the house store, but they need to work on customer service. I wish they would take lessons from their sister store, Sams....

Currently 14 people in the money service line. They have 4 computers/Registers but they would rather have the employees guarding the doors than doing anything useful.

I am impressed by the size of this store. A full grocery store included with a clothing, pharmacy, garden etc store. However, the shelves were empty in many departments. They have employees blocking the aisles, I guess they are merchandising but no one offers to help you. I know, Walmart, is a discount store with lower and affordable pricing. But what happened to customer service?!

Ordered a pick up order 2 days ago. order kept getting delayed (it was only 15 items), to the point where i never received my groceries so i had to cancel. my card had already been charged, so now my money is caught up for another week. this walmart gets worse every single time i shop here. absolutely pitiful.

Scan and Go benefit of Walmart+ is the best shopping experience you can have... Especially as the other people stare at you while they are scanning away and you scan and walk right on by....I avoided Walmart at all costs until I found scan and Go

I have never been to a Walmart that looked so bad. Every aisle, stuff was thrown around and out of place. I just walked out. The clothes were everywhere. It’s disgusting. Nobody is working in this store. The outside was also nasty. I will never return to this Walmart…

It was Walmart. Check out could be quicker as always. I was in & out pretty quick & found what I needed. Shopping cart didnt squeak too bad.Happy.

The store closes at 11 pm; the employees said they were closed at 10:45 pm even though someone went in before me and other Walmarts let the customers come in until 10:59 pm. They have horrible customer service everything I go there. This Walmart wouldn’t be as financially well off as they were not in a college town. “My manager told me that we are closed at 10:45 pm.” But all of the other Walmarts let you in until 10:59 pm. This Walmart used to be 24/7 but they really let the community down when they stopped being open that long; now we have to go to CVS or Walgreens if you get off of work late.

Products good, the employees are hateful and not friendly at all. They hate customers

Walmart has great prices, excellent selections & friendly, helpful staff. My favorite place to buy groceries & to change my oil.

Lost a receipt I needed for a monthly expense report and went to the Service Desk to see if they could query their system and provide me with a replacement receipt. Met with one of the Management staff, Ms Whyte, and she wrote down all of my information. The next day I received a call from her that they had located the transaction and a replacement receipt was waiting for me at the Service Desk. It’s easy to criticize Walmart about a lot of things, but I felt it only fair to make it known when they go above and beyond. Thanks for helping with this very unusual request. 👍🏻

Excellent sales staff! Clean, neat and organized store. I found every staff person to be friendly, knowledgeable, very helpful and excercised patience. I loved seeing that. Prices are great with many name brand items.

My review is for the eye center. All the ladies are very sweet and professional. Very caring and helpful.

Folks are nice. Bamma flags all over . Usual Walmart stuff . Some truck parking but not sure on overnight parking .

Walmarts is always great for getting your needs met... If only there were more checkouts available... It is insane how they leave us in lines everywhere I go (multi-state). The irony: where else can we go? There is no competition. So I (we) continue to go back.

I found everything on my shopping list. The most important thing on that list was Bens Original Ready Rice Coconut Jasmine.

Its Walmart. But, being that I am from Tuscaloosa and only get to visit here about once a year, it was great to see all of the University of Alabama display and paraphernalia. RTR 🐘

I was very impressed with Phillip, in Auto care. After the gentleman tells me to go around to the back for air in my tire, I waited after asking a few men there for air and getting reply I have to get this car out first and Im busy right now, itll be awhile, Phillip was kind enough to put air in my tire.

Well, this store could’ve had a 300 dollar sale tonight. I needed a lap top, but after waiting with 3 or 4 other customers for someone in the electronics department to help we are going to Target. We asked several associates for help, their answer was that when the associates left there was no one that covers electronics..In one of the biggest retail chains in the US, their was not one associate to help any customers!! Wow. Target customer from now on.I’ll pay the price difference for better service!

Went to curb side pickup. App was not working and voicemail was full. I had stepped away from work and didnt want to have to go inside. Luckily an associate came out and I was able to check in and receive items. The associate that bought out my bag was very polite. While I wasnt happy with the check-in all was well.

It’s decent, although I miss it being open 24 hours. It’s good for getting a few home necessities but overall, a Walmart is still a Walmart 😅

Firstly, I called asking about a certain item to see if it was in stock and I got passed around to the same 3 people like 10 times that acted like they didn’t just talk to me on the phone. So after 10 minutes I decided to drive up there while I was still on the phone just to see if they would actually help me. After walking to the back and picking up the item myself I was in line to check out and they said it wasn’t in stock. Total time on the phone was 30 minutes. Secondly, Iv purchased two entire chickens that were already pre-cooked and when I got home to eat them they were both raw.

Never enough cashiers. Have to stand in line for a while. Besides that. You can pretty much get everything you need for home.

Well who doesn’t love Walmart but I stopped going cuz if I just need to pick up a few things I hate standing in line at a register because you can’t use cash at the self checkout now…that’s bs Walmart come on now and then you only have 2 damn checkouts with cashiers open!!! Really?

Their system to look up credit/ debit card purchases was down, went back hour later, system still down, couldnt get money back on unwanted returns.... not happy about that but then again it is wal mart... at least the returns arent do it your self/automated...

To be honest, Walmart is not as bad as people say it is. Its the arrogant workers, rude shoppers, and people who feels they can wear anything, act with no manners that destroy the Company reputation. I can find things that I want 95% of the time at the store or on line at a reasonable price. Walmart suffers from Good help is hard to find. If all Walmarts closed what will happen?

I generally stay out of Walmart. Went to pick up prescriptions for my wife. Three registers open, so the customers were moving through pretty quickly.

Totally the worst store in Tuscaloosa. They never have riding chairs and if they do they are always broke. The employees are rude, and the prices are going thru the roof.

I always find what I need at Walmart. Groceries, first aid, automotive and beyond, and all at a great price. But I will say that Ive noticed that some of the best selling products are not on the shelves on Sunday evenings. Ive noticed that the restocking begins around that time. So to get what you need dont wait until evening to shop, especially on Sundays.

Rushed to get here before they closed. The store hours say they are open until 11:00 PM. I drive up to the door to drop my daughter off at 10:45 to pick up 1 item!! I was rudely told by the Walmart employee “we closed”. Then the police standing guard with her told me they close at 10:45 to get all the customers shopping out by 11:00. Terrible service, if Target would’ve been open I would’ve went there. To my point, I’ve walked intoTarget right before 10:00 to grab something quick and they don’t stand there and tell me they’re closed. Worst customer service ever!

The workers are very kind. I loved my shopping experience there. And I went three times the 9 days I was there. Plus the gas station, too.

Walmart has been the place to shop for me since I was a teenager, and their still growing 💗💗 I love to buy movies, snacks, and crafts because Im an artist 🎨🎭🎨 I need the good deals! The only thing I would change is the delivery 🚚 service! It can take to long because of so few drivers are working at the time so it takes longer to receive grocery orders online! We would have to wait to try again! Can the service get better I dont know, but we need the assistance it really helps especially with the virus 🦠

I usually like going to Walmart but my visit this time was rough. None of the products where in the right place so it was hard to get the right pricing for many items. I know a lot has to do with customers just putting stuff in random places. The staff are usually helpful and nice though.

This place is a joke when you try getting a manager to the sporting goods counter. Spent 2.5 hours in 2 days waiting on a manager to show and employees called on the intercom 8 times.... if you value your time dont waste your time waiting on these clowns.

This Walmart is generally stocked well and has some good finds, especially seasonal. I personally don’t recommend the grocery pickup available at this store because they tend to forget items and they don’t like to answer the phone back there. So long as you are not doing pickup, you will like it!

Good place to shop, has a little of everything.

No one in sporting good department to wait on customers consistently. I am sure its a good reason. It appears that they are reducing employees hours and increasing product prices.

Excellent food and helpful staff. Im beginning to notice with this in mind that Bojangles of Alabama are the best ones - hands down bar none!!! also, the food in Alabama is nothing to be sneezed at ....to say the extreme least!!

Was on the road and needed to stop for gas and a couple of items. Filled up and went in to get a few things. Found what we needed quickly and was able to self check.out in less than 20 minutes and back on the road. All in all, a good experience.

Not but 2 cashiers on long registers after lunch on the 3rd of the month, and one of them was being trained.So many employees shopping for on line orders left their buggies parked in middle of lanes. I see you added more self check registers. Last visit to Walmart. I will be finding me another grocery store that can check me out. Hope wally world doesnt miss my approx. thousand dollars each month. Sam Walton is probably rolling over in his grave.

This Walmart is fine but it is ALWAYS super crowded and its big so there is always shelves being stocked and needing to be stocked. It is a full walmart, not just groceries. It has a subway restaurant inside.

Jeff, the stock 1 coach, was very helpful as we were trying to find something that showed up online as being in stock, but wasn’t really available. I do wish it had been available since I drove nearly an hour to pick it up.

Wal Mart is a joke. I go only when I absolutely have to. There are never enough check out open, this time there was only one with 10 people in line. No fast check out open even though the light was. There was no one home myself and a man stood in line for 5 mins. Finally ask one of the floor walkers and she didnt know anything. I AM NOT going to check out my own stuff. The workers are useless and very rude if you ask for help. I order what I can online to keep from dealing with this garbage.

Self checkout needs to go back to cash and card... Theres only a few lines opened at a time and most people has alot in there buggies

Always very crowded. Customers are rude usually but you cant blame the store for that. Always have a cop posted at the door. The self checkout workers are super helpful and always get everyone out as quick as possible.

Return closes at at 8pm Cant buy cigarettes if lane is closed at 8pm. The dollar store has better customer service

It was pleasant. Normal service for Walmart but it seemed more organized than most.

Omg Walmart dropped the ball twice on both of my last two visits. 1st lost my cell phone at self checkout. I went to customer service asked to use the phone or to have them call my cell. The customer service representative got an attitude refused to help me. I guess she was the manager. Second I went to the money center. There was a line of customers. I stood in line maybe 10 minutes then the lady says she will only be able to take customers up to the guy in front of the woman in front of me. Horrible customer service at the money center and customer service I mean if they dont want to help customers get them out of there and get someone else in place.

We were able to find everything that we were looking for. The associates were very nice.

Shopping experience was good though I found that prices on health and beaut aides had risen. I was lucky enough to.have a riding cart this time which saved my aching back and legs.

Way too many people. There are so many people here all the time it just gives me an uneasy feeling. It is also very dirty and there are multiple homeless people taking refuge in the parking lot. The prices are fair and the employees are moderately helpful.

They have really went downhill since the pandemic started! Terrible in-store customer service and why they have a phone number I have no idea because no one ever answers it!

It was great! In a rush before going to work. Needed steel toed shoes. Went straight to shoes, immediately found a pair, tried on, perfect fit. Ran through by tools and grabbed a pack of sparkplug sockets for a little more than 6 bucks. Went to the front and payed at self checkout with no waiting and was on my way to work.

A friend asked me to pick up his order from walmart. Walmart had divided it into two which totaled $103 and some cents. There were no curbside spots, and I thought my friend texted to say he was going to pick it up tomorrow, so I left. My friend was on the phone with the manager who said I was not there. He told my friend that he was taking it back inside, and my friend could pick it up tomorrow. Well my friend was on the phone with him, it popped up that the item had been picked up although it had not. It popped up that one piece of the order had been picked up. But not the other half, which Walmart had divided off. If I could give them a negative rating I would.

Walmart is good place to shop. But you might or might not get checked out. Its sorry that you can not use cash. In a del check out. With all the employees they have. They could open more registers.

Their hours of operations says they close at 11pm but the officer outside claimed that they cant allow anyone in after 10:30. Now I know that is BS because Ive been in there closer to 11 and was able to get in. This is very unfortunate for people who work night shift. I left work just to grab something I needed and had to finish closing my store extremely inconvenient.

Store is dirty and not well stocked. Hard to find an associate if you need assistance. Used the automotive service this last visit for a simple oil change. While the staff was friendly enough, they did not reset my change oil indicator on my vehicle and I did bring it to their attention prior to service. Overall, the experience was OK but not great. I usually shop at the Walmart neighborhood market right up the road for food items or order stuff online to have shipped to my house for non grocery related items- just to avoid going to this store.

Customer service is really poor at the Tuscaloosa Store. I used 3-25.00 gift cards to pay for 62.34 worth of merchandise, had to tell the cashier I had a balance on the last card she ran. She gives me all three cards back for me to figure out. She acted all huffy like I was supposed to let her have the balance.Just poor attitude 😕 and service.

This Walmart is a hit or miss. Im glad they have the checkout feature through their app because self checkout is a joke and there are never enough cashiers.

Zé is very helpful in the technology department, he helped us find our tv and pay for it and load it into the car while being very sweet and conversational. But future reference for a previous purchase i made before, dont get the warranty expecting Walmart to honor it you have to call the number at the bottom of your receipt to redeem your warranty not go to store.

Its just Walmart. Never have what you need. Shelves are half full, usually with what you dont need.

I love walmart exspress. I always get in and out its excellent customer service in a timely manner.
