Each time that i am able to make a stop here, i always find exactly what i didnt know exactly that i needed.Ive had to have the desk assistants help me a few times when i was seeking a specific title. Each time, even when i couldnt remember the exact authors name, they were very friendly and helpful, and got me to directly what i was searching for.Ive also had to order an out of stock title, which the staff and the desk, again, very helpful and knowledgeable, made it quick and easy to get my book ordered and on its way to the store. They told me a week, it would be in, but it only took like 2 days to get there, and when it arrived, i I received a phone call, letting me know that my title was in store and ready for pick up.No matter what your into, if its not on the shelf, the staff will make sure it will be on the way in no time at all.Not only am i a huge Barnes n Noble fan, Im very adamant about this store, because of the atmosphere and that is due to the staff, which in turn, makes it a comfortable environment for its customers.I try to encourage others to stop for a visit and check out the cool titles and other things that they have. Always polite and helpful even when you come 10 mins before closing to get a book for you kiddo. They were helpful in suggesting another series when they were out of the series he wanted.

Im not sure how this company manages to survive in the digital age, but Im glad that they do. My daughter absolutely loves wandering the aisles and discovering new books or rediscovering the classics. Id prefer the convenience and cost of getting them from Amazon, but that just doesnt put the same smile on her face that a trip to B&N will.

Nice bookstore with a good assortment of books and other stuff. And faster than Amazon even if you happen to be in the area! Helpful personnel. Theres also a Starbucks inside that is pretty swift.

They dont always have what Im looking for, but I usually find something to make up for it. The employees are generally helpful and nice as well.

Love this bookshop and cafe. They currently have shortened hours, probably because of Covid-19. When I walked in close to closing time, they still helped me find the book I was looking for. Very grateful for their efficient and helpful customer service.

Prior visit a manager was nit picking COVID policy for Cafe. Said had to be actively drinking my coffee to remove mask. As I told him I was taking frequent sips while looking at a magazine I wasnt sure what more I could do. I couldnt be moreactive. 😄At last visit masks appear to be optional now, with SD still in effect.Common sense appears to be making a comeback all around. Thank goodness.

Never had a problem shopping here with my medical mask exemption and already receiving the vaccine. However the lady’s working today refused to check and see if they had a book available and told me, even after I tried to explain that I literally can not wear a mask that I would have to order online to find out.I will never return here, may as-well cancel my thing here and start using Amazon prime if I’m going to be ordering online.

First off, its very nice to browse around an actual bookstore, to look and to be able to touch, the merchandise.Ive recently been booked on mystery and suspense novels, which includes stories of govt. espionage, cover-ups, spies, etc.B&N has plenty of these, and other types of fiction and non-fictional books....hard- covers, and paperbacks, depending on your preference.The reason for five stars, is due to the fact they have DVDs, CDs, and actual vinyl albums to purchase, which takes me down memory lane. Also, you could get snacks, or if you need a caffeine pick me up, they have a Starbucks Coffee Shop.I would definitely recommend their bookstores for buying or simply looking.Youll be glad you did.

They have a section of books with brown paper covering the book with a little summary by the employees on the front, and I love that! I wish more bookstores did this.

I have breathing problems so I had my mask pull down so I could breath proper and cashier was very rude as I try to explain her why my mask was down she refused to check me out, so they lost a paying customer. She start screaming it law to wear your mask at all times, that same law states those with breathing or other medical health problem are exempt. So my question are they really allow to be that rude and uncalled for, to a customer with health problems?

Its the same as any other Barnes and Noble. The people who work there are very nice. Wide array of books, records, and they usually have a dedicated section to either local books or general books about Alabama football. The mini Starbucks has cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory, which is the closest you can get to Cheesecake Factory without having to drive to Birmingham

I love the plethora of magazines! This place is easily my favorite hangout because I can get a coffee and a snack and read as many magazines as I want and watch all the people go by. Theres something about this bookstore that I enjoy, and thats the festive atmosphere it has all year round! #B&N #bookstore

Had a lot to choose from. The selection and organization was amazing as well as every staff members knowledge of where each book would be.. or even working the system in a quick manner to find what we needed. They were quick to get us discounts and let us know about upcoming events for adults and kids! Left with 6 books under $60.

Im a regular shopper and visitor here. My 2 year old Godson loves to come here to play in the kids area. The atmosphere is very pleasing and comfortable. The low volume music playing in the background is always soothing and relaxing. Doing school work or reading a novel in this Barnes & Noble is wonderful. The staff will treat you like family, helping you with all of your needs in a friendly, timely manner.

The best barnes and noble store Ive ever been to. Ive been coming here for 9 years I absolutely love this place. The only thing that sucks is the parking because its in a very crowded plaza. The cafe is great, their prices are good and they offer great discounts and coupons.

Over all things were pretty good there, but the lady up front checking out at the cash register, Catlin needs lesson on learning to listen to the customer.

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT HERE!!!!!! The customer service is always amazing no matter if I’m alone or with my daughter. They have a wide variety of books of course and also have a great children’s section for those times your toddler wants to read a book immediately, and they can occasionally meet a new friend there.

I get so many gift cards for here, so I come here a lot! I usually get something from the Starbucks inside of it, then go look at some books so I can have some energy while looking for something! This Barnes and Noble is very nice, and I love that it has a little stage and kids area for children!

B&N is always a mixed bag for me. I love the area by the doors with all of the neat books and hobbyist finds, but I hate the political barrage as soon as I am inside. I read for escapism, and its a pet peeve when any business pushes a political bias on their customers, no matter which way it leans. If it wasnt THE first thing I see when I walk through the door, it would remain the readers haven its always been for me.That being said, Im thrilled with the hard-to-find cult classics Ive been able to find in store in the movie dept. Last week I found Dont Tell Mom the Babysitters Dead. Havent seen that on a shelf since the last time I found a Hastings.

I came in at 6:30 they close at 7:00. They make an announcement to make final selections at 6:30?? I’m looking around until 7 and I was the last one in there and they ask if they’re clear to lock the door and the manager locks it. Then notices me and says “oh Apparently he doesn’t understand the concept of closed!” They can forget it as far as I’m concerned. Don’t shop here!!!

I always enjoy browsing books at Barnes and Noble. It is well organized and well stocked with the books, DVDs, and CDs for which I have an interest. I try to use every coupon offer since it allows me to get books that I otherwise might not purchase. I used a coupon offer at Christmas to buy a History of NASCAR coffee table-style book. I highly recommend the Tuscaloosa Barnes and Noble! Great store!

I love this Barnes and Noble! If I cant find the book I want then they can order it to the store for me to pick up! Everything is easy to find here and its so hard for me to go away empty handed! The Starbucks is very delicious too.

Chic tried to charge me .70 to put half and half in an iced coffee. I thought it only cost that if you steam the half n half... needless to say I just said leave room so I could put it in at the bar.

Cute place! Had tons of vinyls that I really wanted (but am too poor to buy) I did find lots of MCR, Halsey, Billie Eilish, Queen, Gorillaz and things of that nature if your into that. A bit over priced but not too bad. They of course have tons of books. They have BTS pop vinyls and things of that sort as well. Its a really great place and I even settled on a Karen O vinyl for today! Ill totally be back in the future. Side note: Really great staff! I had lots of people come ask if I needed some help with finding a vinyl! :)

A tornado warning occurred while we were in store and the management were great about herding everyone to the back / safest area. Read some books while we waited and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Hello books😄! I always get help finding that hard to find book that my kids want. The staff is awesome because if they dont have the book in stock, theyll order it for you. Its to bad they cant get out of print books. The Starbucks in the store makes an easy caffeine fix if you need one.
